After playing the San Andreas Remaster, I had to watch this to make sure the rain wasn't complete shit in the original. Grove Street games dropped the ball on rain effects ffs it's so bad now. This rain is 1000x better

This is the ps2 version right? It has the more blueish colour scheme and at night with the heavy grain filter which looks soo good and so cozy to drive in the rain. Ps2 definately had the best colour pallete

I remember that my version of the game was bugged. After 5 - 10 minutes of rain the sound started to go bad. After couple of minutes the game was completly silent.
I had same problem years ago. It was probably my PC fault somehow. I have both original and pirated versions and everytime I had same problem. sometime after that I changed my motherboard and this solved my problem.
Perfection.. Old Memories... Pure Original Raining... I feeling crying because it's nostalgia man... and FkU Groove street games you ruined everything in remaster... but i have original game
That will happen around dawn and dusk with some of the weirder weather conditions. A red wall of fog will close in. When it reaches you, your vision glitches out and you see all these optical feedback trails like some bad acid trip to hell. It'll clear up and go back to normal after a few seconds.

Thanks man glad you like it! And I probably will at some point yes! I only have IV on PS3 and I currently don’t have a capture card for that console :( but I might pick it up on PC or maybe even get a capture card so I could do some PS2 titles aswell!

@@KILL3R7290 thank you, but I prefer the retail DVD and play with an emulator, but even better for me is the PC version 1.0 and then playing with mods to restore the original PS2 look and have 4K resolution.
Do you mean the length of the video or the graphics? This weather effect was perfect for this game on the ps2. I'd prefer this in the remaster than the shyte we got given

I searched for "GTA SA Rainy Weather" after watching the remaster. The definitive edition's rain looks like a Snapchat filter.

This rain effect is perfect why did they have to change the remaster to seizure inducing white shards?
