Wasn’t sure if the rage room was something I’d be too interested in…but then…. At 20:29 I FELT THIS 😆🤣👊🏼 loved the vid guys!! Sooo many unique places I haven’t even heard of 😍🍻🍦
You guys are really showing what travel is like: picking a hotel, searching for fun activities and then planning your trip around those. Loving these vids!
I’m a Denver native and definitely didn’t know we had a rage room, a hostel, or a Little Man location with a plane/baked Alaska 😂. The Beer Spa is great and we always recommend the Arsenal! Thanks for showing off some unique things about our city and doing more than just the Denver Biscuit Company (I swear that’s all RUclipsrs highlight in their Denver videos).
Thanks for watching! We noticed that too and while we usually do touristy things as well, we almost try and go out of our way to find something unique and different in a place. Also, if you have the time try that rage room. 🤣
You guys are really fun to watch!! I hope you stay on recording with Faredrop as part of the team!! You have a fun chemistry. Tell us more of your history. How did you meet? ❤️❤️
Thank you! You are the first peeps who clarified the pronunciation their last name! I grew up knowing a family with the same spelling and pronunciation as - Win-Koop. Moving back decades later, my husband keeps trying to correct my pronunciation. I can't go "Win-Coop." So cringy. Now I know why!
16:39 gives new meaning to the term “break room”! 😂😂😂 Imagine if the break-room at an office was set up like this! Bad day at the office? Visit the break room! Frustrating client meeting filled with unrealistic expectations and deadlines? Visit the break room! Long commute in rush hour traffic? Start your day in the break room. 😂😂
Thanks! Yeah, we try to have a good mix. We're stilltouristst after all, so we're not opposed to doing touristy things. But we will go out of our way to try and find something unique to that place.
New subscriber right here!! You guys are so fun!! I have been watching Kara and Nate for a couple years, and, just like them, you both shine with happy vibes! I can't wait to watch your journey 🫶🏼
If you do go back to Canon City, to check out the Royal Gorge Bridge (Try to go there when Nature's Educators is doing their presentation),I have to recommend two local restaurants, The Owl Cigar Store which is a local favorite for burgers, shakes and fries. El Reynaldo's (We still call it Alfonsos when it was called that) which is a gas station mexican restaurant, but that's the go-to spot for Breakfast Burritos. I think the owners opened another one downtown called Julian's. Glad you enjoyed the small town I grew up in!
OMG, I have found my new Travel couple...you guys are on my top 5 list with Endless Adventure, Travel Beans and a couple of others...I cannot wait to go to Colorado! I thought Hostile was like a bunkbed in a huge room full of other beds lolololol
Thanks! That's high praise. Yeah, I thought the same. Turns out you can get private rooms and baths at hostels. Really at that point it's just a hotel room
What a fun trip! Thank you for showing that travel does not have to be so complicated and expensive. I'm looking forward to the video you make after the faredrop deal to Vancouver! You know you want to do it.
funny story we might actually be in Vancouver soon. Don't know if we have time to film there just yet, but we just might be taking a flight deal out of that airport.
What a great adventure y’all had! Love the mix of nature adventure with indoor activities. Never been to a spa, but a beer spa sounds right up my alley 😂
You guys are so cool. I love your energy. Do t listen to haters. Their just jealous that they’re not out doing the same thing. Traveling is fun, I love to travel, learn, different languages, and cultures and history. You guys are having a ball. And you’re taking us right along with you. That’s cool! I like Kara & Nate, but you guys have a lot more energy than they do, and it’s fun. Safe travels.
Right! I look at it now and laugh at how cheesy the gore is, but that film set me back big time! I still haven't overcome that part about hostels. The ones we've stayed in have all been private rooms. No bunkmates for me. I snore anyway. lol
We are so happy that you were able to spend some time in Denver! We may be biased, but we sure love Colorado. Also, it was fantastic to finally turn our instagram friendship into real life friends! We can't wait to see where you are off to next.
Love this new channel, i usdd to binge watch Kara and Nate's old videos now this is the new spot! Jeep up the good work. Btw definitely visit us in Dublin Ireland 🇮🇪 ❤❤
We did the Royal Gorge train and did the dome car too. It was a super chill ride. Cause most things in Colorado aren't chill. We white water rafted down the river by the train a few days before we rode it.
I'm with Sara on the controlled adventure! Make me feel like I'm doing something wild and crazy, but really it's safe and controlled (except, you won't find me bungee jumping or stepping off the Strat no matter how safe anyone says it is... I don't want to tempt fate too much.)
Hey! Love your videos, their really fun to watch and I’m glad you got this job! I do have one ask: can you not put horror movie clips in your videos? I watched this with my 5 year old and didn’t realize that would come on the screen and then I had to apologize to her and make sure she was okay🥺 or at least a disclaimer, or a time stamp so I can skip those parts in the future please 🙏 ❤
@@faredrop I appreciate it!! And your right, it did have a bit of blur on it, which I am grateful for, Thank you 🙏 I really do love your videos 😊 (I voted for you guys) ♥️ I look forward to watching more 😁
This was a good video and very enjoyable to watch. But I feel like it should have been divided into 2 parts. It felt like you guys did so much, but we viewers only got a brief look into it. You could have expanded more, especially in the train ride and the rafting parts.
I also thought hostels were like murderville. Not quite like the movie but I did also think you always had to share a room with randos and that was a big no-no for me.
Same. Just thought nothing but weird things happened in them. The movie was just added trauma. Turns out most offer private rooms and it doesn't cost much more than the bunk rooms. This one was more like a hotel than a hostel.

As someone who lives in Colorado, I highly recommend spending your time in any other city than Denver. It’s a very unsafe and dirty with horrible food choices. I recommend staying in somewhere like Boulder, Golden, Fort Collins or Evergreen. These cities offer so much more of the Colorado lifestyle and are far cleaner and safer! Also, make sure you rent a AWD/4WD vehicle and take the train Georgetown instead! Way better views and you get to check out the cute downtown.
Agree. As someone who’s had a family member tortured to death, I’m very careful to vet what I watch. I really didn’t expect to be triggered during a fun travel vlog. 😢
There was a train less than 2 hours away. A few. One in Golden too. Could've taken one from Denver to "Glenwood Springs." *_These people don't know how to Colorado_*
Fun fact, Rocky Mountain Arsenal Wildlife Refuge is located where it is because it was a chemical weapons manufacturing plant opened during WW2 that was eventually closed and declared a Superfund site. This was long before the population of Denver exploded and they built neighborhoods all around it. I’ve lived here for 15 years and I still think prairie dogs are cute, even if some of them are carrying the bubonic plague!
EoV comment: You barely did anything in Denver in this video. Stop calling most of Colorado Denver. You're why Colorado folk hate transplants that move down here. You saw all those houses next to the refuge right? Let's make people more knowledgeable, not look like boneheads and call all of Colorado Denver.

it's possible. We were there the week of the 20th.
We went to Paris this year and when we saw the Eiffel Tower. My wife said “looks like the one in Vegas”😂
