My guess for red guy is a Red Beetle. We've had blue, green, and black beetles, in the show - so here's my assumption: this red beetle here is more of a placeholder for the red scarab that will eventually attach to Sara Butters from the New Earth universe, and she will train under Blue Beetle. Sara is a underdeveloped character in the DC universe and pretty much unknown, so they can shape her into anything they want. They can develop her character along-side Blue Beetle, and we will get to Blue in a sort of mentorship capacity (There was a moment in the previous season where Blue mentioned that he wished that the previous Blue Beetle had been around to help him grow into the Blue Beetle mantle). Or, you know, not that, and something totally different. But it doesn't matter, I'm just excited to finally get a new season after all this time and all the rumors of a return without any feedback - this is great, and I look forward to whatever they do for the series. Very talented team. :)
technically them adding black lightning is pretty much acknowledging the use of the Dakotavers opening dc back up for a chance at using static again. Remember that static shock wasn't originally counted as being in the DC universe until only after the appearance of The justice league. Ive been waiting for more young justice but you know we all really want more static shoot it would be great if they add him to the young justice like they did with Icon and Rocket another group of "Dakota" heros.

I honestly like Beware the Batman's Metamorpho better. I liked the mix-matching textures and they really used the CGI wisely for his powers. Plus, those purple eyes! Also, Young Justice, all the way back in season one, already took from the Outsiders. Just like The Team, the Outsiders in the comics were a covert team created by Batman to tackle missions that are too politically charged or risky for the Justice League to handle. The only difference is that the Outsiders were mostly adults.
