@@samanthasingh4791 Tilak wrote stronly in favour of casteism and misogyny through his newspapers. He believed casteism was the fundamental principle of Indian culture. He called Mahtma Jyotirao Phule and Govind Ranade enemies of the country for opposing caste system.
He wanted women schools to be for only 3 hrs and not any longer so that they have ample time to learn household chores.
He bitterly criticised a woman, a very young woman who did not want to live with her husband and divorced him.
Offcourse a human being is multilayered personality. But this layer of Tilak's personality was malevolent and dark.

18 Oct 1928: Due to Dr Ambedkar’s rescue, Jawalkar, Lad, Jedhe and Bagade are acquitted in case of Deschache Dushman (enemies of the country)
Satyashodhak Dinkarrao Javalkar (6 June 1898 - 3 May 1932)¸ a social activist and leader of non-brahmin movement from Pune, wrote his most famous work Deshache Dushman, literally Enemies of the Country in July 1925. The book was published by Keshavrao Jedhe and printed by R. N. Lad. Introduction to the book was written by Keshavrao Bagade, a non-brahmin lawyer. The book was a blistering critic of Tilak and Chiplunkar in a tone that was intensely aggressive. Its language was fiery, sometimes even obscene using words like devil, national robber¸Mhasoba (horned buffalo) for Tilak, he called Chiplunkar as the mentor is chief of the dog and suoggsted that he should be shot for having Mahatma Phule through the columns in Nibandhamala. He stated that Tilak and Chiplunkar were not national heroes as they were generally considered, but indeed enemies of the country. He further stated that Brahmins desired to consolidate their power and caste superiority by dividing the masses and keeping them trapped in the fabricated ideas of superiority and inferiority by birth.
He concluded the book with an appeal to all Hindus that they should free themselves from the slavery of Brahmanism and from the chains of caste system. He stated that only those Brahmins who stop considering themselves superior and unite with the masses with flesh and blood should be considered an ally. He further critised that the Brahmins were not the real nationalist, but the ethnic communities were the real nationalists.
Though he heavily criticized the Brahmin caste, he also wrote favourably about some progressive Brahmin leaders of those times - Agarkar, Gokhale, Ranade - in the book itself.
While the book was admired by certain non-brahmin leaders like Prabhodhankar Thackrey and Shripatrao Shinde, it created an instant furore among the Brahmin group. The Tilakites aldo indulged in bitterly criticizing Mahatma Phule. Ganpatrao Nalawade published a booklet entitled ‘Satyashodhat ki Christ Shodhak’. In it true as well as false allegation were made against Jotiba. “There is not direct evidence to show whether Jotiba actually accepted Christianity or not was the propagandist of the Christians” thus Jotiba was s cused in the introdu tion to the boom written by the grandsonof Jotiba’s cousin who called Jotiba a traitor to his own religion and country. He further wrote that he was ashamed of telling that such a treacherous man was born in his clan. As the Mali community excommunicated him for his indecent writings about Jotiba, he begged pardon. The Tilak party proteges made such dirty accusation that the child brought up by Jotiba was the one he had begotten from a widow. Thus they tried go bring disgrace on Jotiba. Thus both the sides were making allegation and counter allegations against the revered leaders of each other.
On 17 September 1925, one Shrikrishna Madhav Chiplunkar, nephew of Vishnushastri Chiplunkar filed a suit against Javalkar, Jedhe, Lad, and Bagade for defaming his family. The case was trialed before City Magistrate who Mr Fleming gave his verdict on 15 September 1926. Javalkar and Lad were sentenced to simple imprisonment for one year and a fine of Rs. 250 each or three months imprisonment if they would fail to pay the fine. Jedhe and Bagade were sentenced for six months amf a fine of Rs. 100 each or two months imprisonment if they would fail to pay the fine. The court also imposed monetary fine on all four of them. All of them were sent to Yerwada Jail and remained in jail till for two weeks I.e 28 September 1926 until bail was achieved.
Javalkar in his memoirs elaborately wrote about his imprisonment. He stated, “Maharishi V. R. Shinde and the other leaders gathered in the court as soon as we were sentenced. The court-yard was crowded by the students of Shivaji Maharaj High school. A motor car came tontaek us to the prison. When we were walking to the motorcar people began to garland us. Even though the officer accompanying us shouted at the people and asked them not to garland the convicts they continued to do so. Accepting the garlands and listening to the chorus of the slogans ‘Shivani Maharaj ki Jai’ ‘Mahatma Phule ki Jay’ Jedhe, Bagade and myself started off towards the prison camp at Yerwada. It was our first experience of imprisonment. We were given a plate and bedding and sent to the dark cell. Next morning we were served sour gruel as per prison rules. Keshavrao Jedhe couenot drink it since he was born and brought up in a well-to-do family. I closed my eyes and drank it at a stretch. As I had been addicted to drinking tea I though ofnwarming my throat somehow. There after we were served the Bhatta which included bread and vegetables. Nobody could eat more than half a piece of bread because it was for the first time we were eating that kind of food. But soon we go habituated to that kind of food. Besides the tasteless food of prison, doctor gave us quinine and consequently Keshavrao Jedhe started vomiting. Keshavrao was not disheartened till then. On the contrary sometimes he used to sing loudly the songs like “Shivani Amucha Rana / Maratha Amucha Bana” in the closed cell of the prison.
Dr Ambeckar suggested to Javalkar and others to appeal in Sessions Court in October 1926. In the appeal, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar appeared for Javalkar and won the case resulting in acquittal of all four accused. The judgement was delivered by J D Lawrence, the Sessions Judge. The Deshache Dushman case was one of the first cases pleaded by Dr. Ambedkar. He was successful in his defence, arguing about the locus of the petitioner, who was not a close relative of Tilak or Shastri. Further, he argued that these eminent personalities were not alive anymore. The argument that there was no basis to file a case of defamation by a third person was accepted by the Judge. The Tilak party was taken aback by this judgment.
As Jedhe and Javalkar had been imprisoned for some time in connection with the Desache Dushman trip their popularity increased. They were the first two non-Brahmin leaders to go to jail
Because of its pugnacious language, Deshache Dushman turned out to be a very controversial book. Javalkar tried to publish its second edition; however, by that time differences grew between Jedhe and Javalkar, and the second edition could not happen. Even after his death, the book could not be republished until 1984 and its republished copies suffered mass burning in 1991. Dr. B R Ambedkar was such a great man, once he decided to leave Hinduism, he wished he will accept Sikhism in which there was no caste system followed, and concept of equality, Sant-Soldier is followed. But M K Gandhi stopped his decision by his hunger strike. Cleaver M K Gandhi knows, is Dr Ambedkar becomes Sikh, all the Native Indians ( Mool Niwasi) would also become Sikh, they will have power, freedom from the clutches of Brahmanwadh Manuwadh, in future Mool Niwasi could be leader in society, on whom Manuwadhi people ruled for centuries.

2) case was filed by shridhar tilak (son of tilak) and nephew of chiplunkar
