We had a racoon, skunk, and possum come to our low hanging bird feeder simultaneously. The racoon literally stood on the skunk's back to grab hold of the feeder. This allowed him to tip the food onto the ground to the skunk's satisfaction, while the racoon took its food from the feeder itself as he continued to stand on the skunk, lol. Both seemed fine with this arrangement and the skunk never sprayed.
@@SaturnDreamingofMercury Racoons usually get along with skunks, groundhogs and possums, but skunks and possums are too dumb and I've seen a possum just bodyslam a skunk when there is a good food source around. Racoons are the U.N. peacekeeping force of the yard lol

years ago we had a cocker spaniel that spotted a groundhog under our shed. She ran out chasing it and I think it had just had babies 2-3 weeks prior. Mamma got on her hind legs and KO'd our spaniel. I mean it punched her right in the face and she went rag dolling back and fell and was just out for 5 or 6 seconds before coming to. I never thought I'd see anything like that before. Those suckers are pretty mean. We usually put down some 120-150ish every summer on our property. They destroy too many crops and cause land cave ins. Almost got us sued once when hunters drove on the ATVs and one fell in and hurt himself. Crazy since we never gave them permission to hunt or ride on our land......
Love how right after the skunk got attacked the raccoon's like "I'll turn to the peanut box and pretend to feed from it and just sneak a bite of this corn here and there".
I have a woodchuck that lives behind my house.. when I pull up to my drive way he runs behind the house every time 😂😂 normally if I'm home I'll see him destroying my garden from the window..
wow im surprised the skunk didnt fire off. and raccoons are actually pretty vicious. this is why im always cautious of anything that has teeth like that.

They're quite aggressive. They'll hide but if they're backed into a corner or feel attacked in any way they go on the warpath. I've seen them chase horses around pastures. I've also seen horses kick them through the air when the size dynamic finally clicks in the horse's head.
The dumber an animal, more they will come at you, because they think everything is a threat. That is why those water buffaloes in Africa kill more humans than Lions

At 1:34 you can see a tiny animal at the edge of the woods. Look for the tiny bright dot of eyeshine in the spot the raccoon was blocking before it moved.
