I’m curious, what’s an area of your life where you’re already a chef?

I'm a tutor, so definitely the private english lessons I give! They all run so smoothly and naturally that I was recently invited by a professor of mine to start giving lectures on oratory (and I'm only 22!)

I'm a math tutor) I also help students with mental disorders adapt to the university (yes, years ago I was scared of my disorders and there was no one to help me, so now I help others) ❤️

I really appreciated your video and how you put it in parallel with cooking. That's a great example.
      I am a pianist BTW.

As cute as “neurospicy” is, I’m glad you used the term “neurodivergent” for this video, since it’s a more searchable term and your videos deserve all the views :)

This video couldn’t have come out at a better time! I’m currently struggling to create a productivity system that will work on my good days AND my worst days. This is massively helpful.

I was using a discbound system I put together myself and that was working for a while, until it stopped working. Currently I'm using my phone calendar for appointments, important dates, and my husband's work trips. It makes it easier to have all of that info with me on the phone I keep with me all the time. Then I use a paper weekly to do list for what I need to get done and what I want to get done. I also have a running monthly or bigger to do list for other stuff that doesn't need to be done on a specific week. Daily planning and to do lists overall don't work for me due to my fluctuating chronic illness symptoms.

I appreciate the video being a conceptual outline for what you need to think about instead of a list of instructions which may or may not be helpful.

Your channel deserves so so so much recognizition, I'm speechless. I found out about it only 3 days ago and it has already done wonders to my mental health and second-brain system-but most importantly to the expansive idea of embracing my neurodivergences and creating an almost ceremonial routine around them-so, from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much! I'll be hyping you up in here and on Instagram till the end of times! 💞 You deserve the best! Keep going! 🤍

I was a line cook and in my cooking at home life I just made shit up until I figured it out so I guess that is pretty analogous to my planner system. I used your Notion videos to start but I have added upon it…don’t have pretty formulas, don’t know how to do certain things, but it gets the job done and I’m happy.
I don’t follow recipes. I will look up something like a cook time if I’m unsure though.

I put my to do list on my calendar on different days like yard day, bills day, crafts day, with a reminder so if I don't get to it that day, I'll get to it next week on yard day, craft day, etc. then I realized I just automated my own procrastination. I am the master. bwahahahahah

Thank you so much! I have gastroparesis, ADHD, and long haul covid that affects me a lot like POTS... working on diagnosis. I feel like everything is falling apart because I just don't have the spoons to keep moving in the ways ADHD helped me in the past. I spend so much time trying to figure out where to use my spoons and waste valuable hours and bits of energy. Not able to keep my body moving with my busy brain is debilitating.

Oof. That combo of issues is so awful. Have you tried stim/fidget toys for dopamine with less movement?

    • @chrish564

@@CassieWinter 😲 I had no idea fidgeting could produce dopamine!!! I love those type of things but they just end up collecting dust as clutter, picked up and put away in no particular place, found one day months later and enjoyed when found for a short bit... then repeat.😆
