Watch this Peru Travel Vlog to see places like you've never seen before. If you want to travel Peru, start with Cusco and The Sacred Valley, because, as you watch this, you will see the amazing things that the area has to offer. If you're searching for Peru travel vlogs, look no further. Thisis the Pinkuylluna Peru travel vlog.

The part of your video where you reflect back on being stuck in Peru and how you benefited from the opportunities and slower pace make this one of your best videos!!! In normal times, even if you had gone to the same places, the crowds would have made your experiences so different. On the one hand, you were stuck and limited, on the other hand you had priceless experiences that could never be duplicated. Congratulations on another great video and many thanks for sharing all of these special views!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes that is so right, when I was a child and teenager cities and ruins where like you are experiencing now, no tourists only the family visiting this kind of places
Wow 😍😍😍😍😍
mark keller thanks so much Mark! We have always appreciated your kind words and thoughtful input 🙏🏻🙏🏻✊🏻

Very beautiful place
Peru is awesome
Thanks for sharing
God bless you both

AWESOME. Spectacular photographs of the Inca storage houses.
Thank you Adolfo!

Que nostalgia, también nuestro corazón se quedó en Perú...
Thank you for this video...
@Vincenzo Fuoco
The most illustrious Italian who arrived in the Republic of Peru in the 19th century was Antonio Raimondi. He was a prominent researcher, naturalist, geographer, explorer, writer and professor. He made an in-depth study of Peruvian fauna, flora and geology.
He was also a great traveler. Throughout almost 20 years of travel, Raimondi traveled 45,000 km through Peru.

u 2 amazing people have experienced experiences few people ever will. Thank you for sharing these times of your lives with us. Loved this one and I must admit I got a little teary eyed I won't tell you when but it was a very touching for me a long time follower. Safe Travels
Lindsay, you look absolutely stunning in those hats. Alex also looks pretty good in that t shirt. Amazing views of amazing Peru and pretty scary at times. Hope you both have a safe journey home and enjoy family time but I'm sure after being home for a few weeks you will be craving that travel bug. I hope you guys get a campervan and travel Canada (are you allowed into Canada) I can't wait for the next part of your journey xx
Gracias, gracias the travelbum por hacer tan lindos videos. From Japan!!
Thank you for watching!

Great channel, Alexander! I'm with you! ;-)
✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻 thank you for being here
Can't agree more with you
Hey guys another great video! you had some amazing shots there. Its great that you got to see some more ruins before you have to leave. Your reflection of your stay in Peru is bitter sweet, its sad that you have to leave, but understandable. Again, i say i think its going to be a long journey home, and i wish you all the best and we will be here following that journey. Great video!
It’s definitely hard to say goodbye to Peru
Thank you for the kind words as always, Sue 🙏🏻
Another great video , thanks for showing the beautiful view of Ollantaytambo.
Happy to show it to you 😊
I'm gonna miss so much your videos in Cuzco, hope you guys come back
when Macchu Picchu gets open, and by the way you guys are so lucky to have the ruins for yourself
Really enjoy watching Cusco videos 😊 you guys have to come back next year when the main ruins will open 😁😁
I hope so!
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I am soooo familiar with this feeling of needing to leave, but not wanting to... Peru has done this to me 12 times already. My last words to Cusco, each time, have been: I WILL BE BACK. And you two have given me the opportunity to revisit many sites that are off the beaten path. I’m forever grateful to you for sharing these moments of wonder and amazement. Urpi sonqo (Quechua for heartfelt thanks) .
Thank you, yeah Peru has a way of making you fall in love with it.
BUENAS VIBRASSS!! ..cuiden mucho.!! happy live !
❤️
This might be the most beautiful and incredible area you have been in Peru. So far
It might have been 🙏🏻
Excellent adventure. Those ruins almost none tourist visit becouse most of them visit the bigger one. Nice views, nice pictures. Ruins made of stone in Cusco and Sacred Valley like Ollantaytambo keep better than others ancient cultures at coast of Perú made of ground.
Casa inka great. Hotel!!!
Thanks for sharing Peru the way you did it! I admire you for being such risk takers and optimistic tourists. Waiting for your next adventures to come. And California...yes! Lots of people and lots of ashes raining due to the fires 😞
Take advantage of every day that you are in Peru, so that you do not regret something you did not do. It has been a great journey, you are very humble. All their travels have filled their spirits with wisdom. Greetings from Lima. This country will always be your home, practically you are from Cuzco. You are a nice couple.
Thank you for saying all of this. We definitely tried to see everything we could while there.
Un abrazo a los dos , los Apus les han acompañado siempre. Gracias por valorar y por la empatía con las personas que se encuentran en el camino.
Wow, that place is amazing. I was in Ollantaytambo in 2017, you make me remember wonderful ruins and cultures. Gracias por mostrarnos los hermosos lugares de Ollantaytambo.
Thanks for sharing a piece of Peru....i hope you two realize YOU have the potential to be the Best Ambassadors for this beautiful nation in South America....its a 3rd world country but it has so much to teach the world.. Have a safe journey back home!!
Thanks so much Julio!
Whether it's six days or six months, Peru and its people tend to hold a special place in your heart, at least that's what I've gathered from other travelers and my own experience. You guys have shown us Peru as no one else has ever shown us. Seeing the places without all the tourists and people has been a real treat so thank you for that. I know it hasn't been easy for y'all with the lockdown. Also, thank you for caring for Mr. Potato Head and finding him a forever home. May your kindness be rewarded 10 fold. Safe travels guys. I'll be here for more videos as they become available.
Thank you and you’re right peru has a way of finding a place in peoples hearts
Alex and Lindsey, I love the photographs and the quality of your videos. Getting to the sites before sunrise to capture the golden light paid off. Photographing in the high Andes comes with a lot of challenges. For example the harsh sunlight is mostly what you get, as opposed to overcast days where you have a more diffused light. I loved those photographs with the grain storage houses.
Thanks a lot, Adolfo. Thanks for appreciating the camerawork and photography 🙏🏻🙏🏻
I’m going to work that aspect a lot this year
@@TheTravelbum You're welcome. I will keep pointing out to you those things that you are doing right with regards to photography. Q&A On your coming up trip to Lima to catch a flight to the US, would you like to share a map showing Cusco and the route that you will take to get to Lima? This will help the hundreds of viewers to visually follow you on these wonderful stories that you guys share with us. Thanks for all the great work that you put into these videos.
It was a pleasure to wacht your videos guys and to see more about my country Peru on these difficult times. Many places that even some peruvians did not know they exist.. I hope you enjoy these adventure as much as we did it and remember to come back someday because you really appreciate our country and you only could see just a few of all the beautiful places Peru has to offer. Good luck and a safe travel back home! Greetings from The Netherlands!
Nice you made it...i was in Ollantaytambo 3 times but i never had the chance to go to those ruins up on the mountain...i didnt know there was an excursion to those ruins...
Maybe you can see it next time you go. They are awesome!
Ustedes ya son parte de Peru, regresen cuando puedan,y visiten a potato,su lindo amigo de cuatro patas,y tambien hay otros sitios lindos en el resto del Peru ,se siente nostalgia por su partida

Awesome place those food storages. See you in the next video, they're so informative, I love them. Guys, have fun, and stay safe.
Thank you Luis!
Una pena q se vayan pero espero q regresen nuevamente , mucha suerte
Wuaooo que hermoso y la vista es espectacular
hi 👋 Lindsay and Alex, the best thing getting stuck in Perú was helping find a home 🏡 for mr. potato head and for that I appreciate the fact that you took the time to show him what really love 💘 is about. when you go back to Perú you have to go to Huayna Picchu and Chinkanas
Our favorite part of Peru was potato head
I was born in Peru and was able to travel the entire country there are lots and lots more to see guys. Now I reside in USA for the past 36 years and get those feeling back just to see you out there.
There endless things to do and see
After 36 years outside Peru you are hardly Peruvian
Hermosa aventura
Gracias
You both are one of a kind. I am enjoying every video of yours and I learn how to appreciate my country thanks to you two. Alex and Lindsey you are for sure very kind an lovely couple. I hope you two get married some day and I will love to see you together, these days in Peru may be the hardest for both of you.
Thank you Diana, honestly yes there were many many hard days but we got through them 😊

So Proud of you guys!
Hi from MN on lake Superior N. Shore.
Will be sticking with your channel and your decision to return.
You have really stuck it out while most of the travelers have abandoned ship and are back home.
You have continued to be positive, informative and inspiring in trying times.
Thanks for the awesome videos!
You two make a great team. Now you are finishing each others thoughts and sentences, very cute. Hope to get back to Peru and see more of what you shared.
Hope to see you in MN, we already have had frost, maybe you can get Cali boy 😉 to come snowshoeing lol
Wishing you safe travels. 🤠✌🏼
Haha idk how Cali boy would handle that. Nice to meet a subscriber from Minnesota. Thanks for following along the journey. I can’t believe how cold Minnesota has already gotten but hey that’s Minnesota for ya. You never know what you’re going to get.
Your videos are different than other ones because show different angles and places of Inca Empire. As always, amazing video guys, I love it !!
Thank you so much
🙏🏻 we try
The more incredible views you show us, the more sad I am that you're leaving Perú.
I know you want and need to see your families and spend time with them, but as you mentioned it, kinda felt like Peru is home for you guys now :)
Safe travels! 🤗🤗
It’s definitely hard to believe. Peru is just gorgeous.
Can't wait to see your way back home; guys!
Thanks, we will show you very soon
Thanks to You i know places in My country that i never thought existed...,,,👍🇵🇪
That’s so amazing to hear!
you guys must be come to Peru again , 2 more peruvians :D a lot food and places everywhere are waiting for you
Veo que están practicando el refrán que dice: "A mal tiempo , buena cara" visitando lugares en forma "exclusiva" y sentir toda la cultura e historia
Stunning views guys! And great cinematography!! Thank you for sharing. My wife and I live in South Africa and we so look forward to following your journey. Keep safe and all of the very best as you prepare to leave for home.
Thank you guys for sharing the beautiful views of and yes you are very lucky to see awesome places that Peruvians like me haven't seen it before. I am feeling homesick after watching this video. I am originally from the mountains. I miss it. I live now in down under. Safe travel back home.
Alex, let you know California, Oregon Utah and Washington are on fire 🔥 🔥🔥🔥🔥.
Oh no !
Yeahhh not looking forward to that 🌶
Great video! Amazing views and history. You guys almost brought me to tears during your reflections on your time in Peru and feelings about leaving.
Arizona, the Superstition mountain range, the White mountains and some of the history of the Native Americans might be something you would enjoy. The northern parts and upper elevations are wonderful, even in the summer. There are ruins and some places that I visited they really don't know what happened to the people.
You've got a subscriber here as long as your on RUclips. 👍 Goodell means, Always faithful. I've been keeping you both in my prayers throughout the day, every day. Be safe, God bless and love always. 😷🙏💕
Such an amazing view!!!💖 And I can tell that you're already kinda missing all these wonders you have seen in Peru and seem to have started missing them! I really love everything you showed us in all these videos. So many times my jaw dropped by just watching all these scenic views and food. I must say, I love Peru too!!!💖 Have a safe trip home, both of you!😁
Thank you yes we were missing it already. Peru is easy to fall in love with.
@@lindseyfw2903 I can't agree more!!! Just by watching your videos and everything I read about the country, I've already fallen in love with Peru even before I can put my feet on this land! I wish Covid-19 could be gone soon so I can fly down South again!
Que les vaya bien chicos, Perú es precioso y regresen para ver Machupichu.
For all vloggers / travellers stuck on their destinations during the surge of covid & lockdowns was like domino then , & everyone are on panic going home , some preferred to stay a while & enjoyed where they are & shared to viewers ..... among all of you , on my perspective , YOU GOT THE BEST !!!!! : the way you handled it , your content , the tone , & THE PLACES . Peru is on my top 5 to visit.
Hopefully , your next travel are Tibet , Nepal ( not everest ) , Pakistan , Afghanistan , Mexico , Egypt , any African country , Mongolia , Turkey ...
Thank You for showing Peru on that manner .
Thank you!! I would love to see all of those places you mentioned
That sounds like my own bucketlist ✊🏻
Amazing place, thanks for showing it us.
Thanks for watching
Thats so cute I went to that Panoramic restaurant in 2017. Well be prepared if you go to Mexico after your break in America....since they officially open i see in other travellers videos that the prices are more expensive than normal times im talking about the restaurants...
Hmm good to know. That’s also so cool that you went to that same restaurant
Hey chicos! So sad to see you leave🙁 I was born in Arequipa Peru and would love to see you explore more in my Hometown! Maybe next time! Haha Love you guys keep up the cool videos😎
I will miss you guys traveling through places that I could only imagine. But, I am still looking forward to your future videos, and your experiences on traveling back home. I will remember with fondness the last 6 months of adventures.
Ollantaytambo.....prepper's paradise. They used to put freeze dried potatoes 🥔 up there. Along with grains🌾and maize🌽. Perfectly preserved for decades. I was there!
Amazing!
@@lindseyfw2903 ,Truly amazing
Hi Alex and Lindsey! Loved the video, sights and, your moments of reflection. True statement- that you guys will never forget your 6. mos. in Peru. Thanks much for sharing all these sights and, experience in Peru with us. I'm sure your families will be so happy to see you guys. 💕
Thanks Sofia. ❤️
Thanks, por la traduction in Spanish, que maravillosa caminata, pero peligrosa tambien, cuidense mucho bendiciones, una Peruana desde Florida.
You are a wonderful couple. Stay together. Don't get separated for more than three weeks. I know Lindsey is going to Minnessota, Alex to California. But after two to three weeks, one of you should go to the other's home.
I totally agree.
Yes that is the plan 🙏🏻
We shouldn’t be apart too long
Have you heard "Life is what happens while you are making other plans" or "We make plans and God laughs" I was supposed to be in Europe now-borders still closed to most countries...very sad 😢 Instead am caught in wildfire smoke...this pandemic has made a mess of our free spirited nature. I too get reverse culture shock...thank you for sharing Peru with us!
Guys I've been watching all your videos for months and really enjoy them, you guys are awesome!! Ready for the next adventures!
Thank you so much for watching so many of our videos
I'm so looking forward to your maiden exit from Peru. I don't think I've ever gained so much mastery over any geography ever. Wish you a safe exit..!!
It’s an incredible country
Ohhh what a wonderful video ... i love your style ... you two.make a really wonderful couple ... and you ve made us known more about this wonderful culture of my country !!!! The views ... the photos ...
The sound ... the stories ... everything's wonderful ..
I am really happy that tourists as you appretiate my country ... that's yours too ... hope you'll come back soon !!! Congratulations !!!!
Exelentes videos muchachos, siguan asii..! Aun le falta explorar los lugares mas secretos y misteiosos de mi peru, suerte amigos
I recommend you to read a book called OLLANTAY which tells a love story about general Ollanta... you will love it... GOOD LUCK in your expeditions
Just stunning views! You have to wonder how the Incas built these amazing structures. I really enjoy the history you share.
You've had some good experiences, but I can't imagine how y'all have felt being trapped. Great that you've gotten to know each other in a slower, yet faster way. 🙏 As you start this next stage of your lives, I'll pray and keep watching here and on IG. 💚
Hi guys. Another great video. Just a thought. The USA must have very interesting Native American History and culture. Perhaps very similar to the Inkas. Would love to see your travels there . Hope you come back soon. Peru will be here for you. Cheers.
Good point
So great to travel virtually with you to walk though those stone granaries on the mountain. Only saw them from the ruins on the other side when I was in Ollantaytambo. Also a beautiful way to end your time in Peru. Safe travels on your journeys home. And Alex, I’m sorry to report that Northern California and Oregon fires have blocked out the sun in the San Francisco Bay Area today. It’s so dark that at almost noon it looks like 5am outside. Eerie to say the least. Hopefully, tomorrow won’t be dark during the day and feel this apocalyptic.
I totally agree with you. It is sad to see all those wild fires in Northern California. Things back in the US, politically and otherwise are far from ordinary.
Hello guys, your videos are very instructive, you had privileges due to the pandemic to be able to enter unimaginable sites, or that for the first time are shown in videos, sites that the common tourists do not have access to. It's good that everything went well and They did not have any perch when walking on dangerous trails. It is sad that they could not know the emblematic places of Cusco, Machu Picchu, the mountain of seven colors, etc. but they can go back and walk through them. About the people who made them taste the banana , in tourist places it is always good to ask, if it is free or you have to pay because that is their way of selling, they will not bother, have a good trip back and may God always be with you
I really enjoy your enthusiasm and energy. I wish we'd run into each other while you were here. I'd have a lot to share about these ruins
That would have been awesome. I’m surprised we didn’t bump into each other actually.
So prety flowers and blossoms from the bushes in Apu lodge, Ollantaytambo. The beginning of the video.
Thank you for sharing your journey
Hermoso 💕❣️😍 en Perú todo es bello las personas don muy nobles sencillos gracias saludos
👍 There is no one else as Alex and Lindsey. Their Narrative and Videos have the balance between Description and Sensibility when exploring Peru 🇵🇪 They are connected with the places they go so far and probably they will miss this all once they are back home in US 🇺🇸 My impression is that both are Courageous and Kind at the same time.
Aww you’re sweet, thank you ❤️🙏
FRANELA
hey thanks for the awesome Peruvian experience! it's been grand!! (Alex maybe you go to Minneapolis (i think??) with Lindsey cause Calif. is on fire...smoke is everywhere)
That’s the hope!
Nice video mates, Alex you looks very nostalgic, but don't worry you will comeback to Perú and you will be able to visit from North to South. The Incas stored food for the rainy time so they won't starve.
But this experience only you will be able to tell to your grandchildren because only both of you enjoy that places by yourself. God protect your journey. And thanks for sharing this experience with us
Peruvians 🇵🇪 should be named as the People of the Mountains and Deserts, Literally
Thanks Alex and Lindsey. Coming home is always weird, right? Things will never be the same...... that's a good thing! Your minds are packed with memories and plenty of time to make more.
✌🏻🤙🏻
You are right. There's No Place Like Home. ruclips.net/video/0DRCBX3zO2o/видео.html
You're right I spent 15 years going up and back to St. John and the various islands in the USVI, never got tired of it, amazing places. Hope to go back after covoid, even though the islands were destroyed by hurricane Maria, and others.
I'm going to miss your travels in Peru. I trust you're home safe by now.
Thank you, more adventures to come!
Peru is a movable feast.
Que tengan un buen retorno a casa, se va extrañar muchos sus videos de Perú. Los estaremos esperando con los brazos abiertos, regresen pronto.
Have a safe flight back home and still waiting for other trips once the world opens up. Take care and keep Cusco in a small corner of your adventurous heart.👍
The Incas had an excellent strategy to feed their People, practicing the Ayni encouraging solidarity and reciprocity in their people, thank you for making us remember what was studied in the Schools, being amazed by the rich Inca culture and gave beautiful geography, thanks Alex and Lindsey 🥰😍❤🇵🇪
great video, thank you guys....each stone has a massege for the people, all inthe Universo..
I am gonna miss you both traveling in Peru . Safe trip back home. Can’t wait to see where you guys are going next.
I saw your vídeo ,i would also like to travel around the world and get to know many places cultures like you , that is the dream that i have always had ,the dream of My life., One day i Will travel too ,😀
Way cool! Enjoy the fact that you can touch a piece of an ancient civilization. On Ram's Head in St. John, USVI, slaves threw themselves off this rock to escape the Dutch slave owners.
Cusco is not only Macchupichu. There are a lot (really a lot!) of inca places with amazing views. Pisac, Wiñayhuayna, Wakrapukara, choquequirao, Tipon Temple of water, and much much more!! Nice video man,!! Nice eyes pretty lady 😉
Bro you go home with full energy of the incas 👍🌄🤠
Your photos of the day are amazing. I was hoping you have them all posted somewhere, or sell them. I saw a few that would make beautiful puzzles or prints.
AMAZING... I ❤️ guys. If you are in Lima, I recommend you to visit Puente de los Suspiros in Barranco, this place is very close to Miraflores.
Great video as always, a bit nostalgic, and gorgeous views.
Near the end , that is Rogelio Gibaja Tapia, a local guide in Ollantaytambo, who is a good soul.
Looks like you took a dangerous trail for a short part. There were cliffs with dangerous paths potential danger of falling. Good you guys got back on track.
Awesome place!!!
