Hey guys, we really want to show Rainbow Mountain to the world. We had the most incredible experience. If you have a second, please share this video. On Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, email, anywhere. Thanks for your support as always
Shared with friends and family in Peru, Brasil, and US. Hoping they will enjoy it as much as I have. Your journey has been amazing to to experience through your lens!
Guys you made it ! So Lucky to have that experience with literally no people ! Those memories will be shinning forever ! Cusco it's just amazing hope you come back to see the rest of my beautiful Perú 💚🙌🏻
Oh my Goodness! Those views were fabulous and to think y'all were fortunate enough to visit it alone!! The drone pictures you were able to get were amazing. Y'all really have been so blessed to have been able to make connections to get you to amazing places with a guide. What fabulous paintings those would be. I agree that the red valley is almost more awesome. So interesting that the minerals caused the color changes. Valuable experiences!
My sisters and I were in Cuzco last year, we enjoyed every minute of it so much that we will come back as soon as us possible and maybe in the future retired there, we fell in love with the place❤️
Had to watch this one on full screen large monitor. Fabulous, so glad you guys made it there. Your Peru videos have formed a connection for me with a part of the world I knew very little about. Maybe when things calm down I can go.
Cuando yo fui habian al menos 200 personas por ahi xD de todas formas tenia tanto frio al subir y le tenia miedo a las alturas que ni queria tomarme fotos 😂
Congratulations, you met one of your many wishes, The Mountain of Seven Colors. This has been the video that you have posted that I liked the most, I saw it three times. I'm really going to miss you guys.
This is the one thing I didn’t do while I was in Cusco and seeing what I missed is making me feel jealous! What an amazing landscape. I have NEVER seen anything so cool! And to be able to experience it with no other tourists is pure bliss!
Thanks for explaining why I never heard of it in all my years of visiting and exploring Peru. At least climate change was good for something. How lucky you are to have been there without hordes of people. Thanks. Now I want to learn more about the geology.
A M A Z I N G !!! What a treat to be able to have this beautiful scenery all to yourselves, once in a lifetime opportunity. I was thinking that you are at 5,200 metres above sea level so only 1,300 feet or 400 metres from the altitude at base camp on Mount Everest in comparison ....no wonder it was hard to breathe!! Hehe Also, would be nice if you could put a note or let people know that under “normal” circumstances you are not allowed to walk on the mountain, I would hate to see this beautiful place destroyed by tourists. The Peruvian government or whoever is responsible for caring for these sites need to do much better at signage though to let people know they are not supposed to walk over this mountain. Thank you and so glad you were able to visit this magical place before leaving Peru.
Wow! This definitely was the highlight of your trip in Peru and I’m glad you guys were able to see Rainbow Mountain. With or without your drone, you have provided great views. Great job!
Definitely a video to share ! Im Peruvian and you really make me travel to my country every time i watch your videos guys, now living in US i can feel closer to home with you guys !!!!!
Thanks for making this video to share this amazing place - I've shared it on fb as requested! No one else will probably ever get to see this place like you have done so, again, thank you! x PS. Those hooded jackets you wear have certainly been useful in many locations in Peru!
Awesome!!! nice video , congrats guys, great job as always !! Did you know behind the Red Valley there is a nice hotel? 3 or 4 hrs walking. With a lot of coca leaf infusion everything is possible in altitude.
HELLO THERE !! iam about to watch your video just wanted to say " HI " BECAREFUL OUT THERE . iam sure this video will be amazing as always hope some day i could step on that mountain 🇵🇪🇺🇸👍👍👍 you guys are an AMAZING PEOPLE !!!
Well Lindsay if u asked the one thing u want to see before u leave Perú is The rainbow mountains maybe Pachamama heard you guys and made your wish come true 😁😊
Wow! Amazing views, beautiful scenery and very interesting geology! That is an extremely high and very thin air altitude! Another very unique and special experience. This is the first video that I have seen that doesn't show massive crowds at that spectacular place.
The flashing completely stopped after the first few minutes. 🤗 I think that place is the coolest thing I've ever seen. Like another planet. So glad you got to see it and share it with us. 💕💯 The photos at the end are beautiful. 💓
This is one of the colourful mountains we have in Peru. When I was a child I used to be excited every time we travelled from La Oroya to Huancayo, because there was one mountain that had all those beautiful colours, especially purple and is not as far from the main highway. Mountains rich with copper, silver, etc etc,
Despite all the problems you experienced in Peru, I still feel jealous that you went to all those places with no people there. I visited them all but with thousands of tourists which kind of ruins the experience. When things go back to normal one day you may look back and realize what you did was so unique and fortunate. Glad you enjoyed it
Awesome I am so happy that you got to see it! And a Private showing! 🤗 You will be able to run a marathon and not be out of breath when you get home. Yes I can't stress getting used to the altitude! I thought I was in shape,Ha😥 MN to Lima at Sea Level ( not the place to get used to it 🙄) Was a bit too excited 🤗 went to Cusco and straight to the top of the Mountain 🤤😥😰🤢 Yeah I got a 360 degree view without moving my head because the whole world started spinning. Whew. Took some doing to walk back down and get back to Cusco and rest up for the journey to Machu Picchu. It was great, But I missed all the cool things you got to see. You are the best, great work 💓 Thanks for sharing and I will continue to share and like your videos.🤠👍👍👍👍👍
I am very happy that you guys have done it, I'm from Peru and I have never been to the Rainbow Mountain, you take me there somehow in your video and I hope to enjoy the magic of my country some day too. ♥️
Wow! , definitely one of the best video you had from Peru, I never seen beyond the rainbow Mountain (Montaña de 7 colores), you are so lucky to reach inside to the red mountain, that usually is not permitted to the visitors or walk on top of the rainbow mountain, it's look like another planet, so beautiful!, there's a another rainbow mountain in Cusco ( Palcoyo ), next time when you back to Peru you can visit, thank you guys ☺👍
Lindsey y Alex, extraordinario el paisaje natural de la montaña vinicunca y montaña roja, mi paìs es tan maravilloso, gracias por mostrar al mundo la cultura y paisajes. Deseo que les vaya bien en su viaje.
I'm happy for you guys, at least you could go to this beatiful montain. I'm a local traveler from Lima, Peru, I fell in love with Cusco since the first time I was there, last year I practically lived in Cusco for a month and I lacked time to get to know Cusco in its entirety ... It's a shame that all this situation can't let you visit more from Cusco
CONGRATULATIONS! What a joy to achieve your dream come true, beautiful video with excellent images, we hope that when the Pandemic ends, you will visit our beautiful Peru again, which you still have a lot to know, Alex and Lindsey will be missed.🥰🇵🇪❤✈
Awesome video!. Congratulations!!! Very happy for you that have the opportunity to visit this place I've never seen "The Red Valley". It is beautiful. It seems like a paint. The are so many more beautiful places to know in Peru and I hope you can visit very soon. ✨✨✨
Omg!! Amazing I am glad you guys were able to visit the rainbow mountains ;). You guys are lucky because that place is always pack. I haven’t visit that place yet. I know I will one of these years. Please, don’t forget my beautiful country. Thank you for visiting Perú ♥️🇵🇪 .... Welcome to USA 🇺🇸!
I made it twice. On a full white day, full of snow but was still able to see some greens. Went back and had all the colors. Thank you for posting such a beautiful video.
Wow guys, what a place you are showing us now... and nobody else around. Fantastic! I would say there is no other video that shows Vinicunca as yours. Nice good-bye trip from Peru
That must have been amazing to see guys, as we all know videos and pictures don't do these kind of places justice but even us seeing it through your lense was truly stunning! Love the picture of you both with all those beautiful colours running between you👏👏 What a memory to share between you 😆...Peru is truly breath taking😍 Take care of each other. Xx😙😙🐕🐶
Beautiful mountains in all colors! Lesley and Alex thank you so much for sharing! I loved the surprise. This was it right? Take care and stay safe! Big hugs to both of you!
S P E C T A C U L A R. The early rise paid off. You have spectacular views of Rainbow Mountain with some puffy clouds in the background , apparently with the drone. Well done. Awesome colors. It is so sad that you will soon be heading back home without seeing Machu Picchu. Perhaps this is for a good reason and one day you guys will come back with the proper gear to do the Inca Trail. You have learned and shared so much of the Incas and why it was called the Inca Empire.
The views are amazing! Good thing that you guys got to make it to this part of Peru. You should visit in the future the Huascaran National Park, and the Manu National Park, both in Peru, are definite worth a visit. Cotahuasi Canyon, located in Arequipa in the heart of the Southern Andes, is also, the deepest canyon in the world. It is formed by the flow of the Cotahuasi River as it carves its way between two peaks, Coropuna and Sulimana, each of which towers over the ravine at more than 20,000 feet above sea level. At its deepest point, the canyon cuts roughly 11,560 feet into the earth, only slightly deeper than its nearby rival, the Colca Canyon, also in Arequipa, Peru.
I don't know what surpises me more....the out of this world landscape or seeing Lindsey run at that altitude! I´d be dead. Glad you enjoyed it guys and thanks for sharing!
Of course is #1 viewed 'cause you are in it ❤❤❤ but really China has it too and it is as spectacular. Being there in person in Peru is like surreal like being in another dimension
"He who perseveres - reaches " or from the bible: Daniel 12:13. "But you, persevere to the end and rest, that at the end of time you will rise to receive your reward ”. From the Latin perseverantia, perseverance is the action and effect of persevering. This verb refers to staying constant in a project already started, an attitude or an opinion, even when the circumstances are adverse or the objectives cannot be met. Congratulations guys!!!!!
Vinicunca was definitely a top highlight of my trip to Peru also. Vomited from the altitude sickness in the van ride back to Cusco but it might have been the driving and diesel fumes also. Hahah Don’t know if you guys know this but Rainbow Mountain is equivalent to Mount Everest’s base camp ( or extremely close to it I know) so it really is difficult due to the lack of oxygen up there. We walked the entire thing also instead of taking the horses and it made us feel like we accomplished the world that we managed to do it. So glad y’all got to see it before you left.
Love your videos and happy for you to have seen rainbow Mountain. When I was there last year there was a barrier to prevent visitors from walking on the sensitive minerals of rainbow Mountain. I wonder if your guide gave you the full orientation on the preservation of this pristine place...
What a lucky guys, you are! First because you were alone there and then I heard that sometimes you can't see the colours, but today was in all its splendor. Beautiful but to be sincere I liked more the views of the Red valley, 😍 Amazing, looks like you were in a part of the Eden. Hope you will never forget my country. In your way back to Lima make a stopover in Nazca.
It's so beautiful.Amazing!!..... Lindsey, watch out your steps. Don't loose your balance, please !!! I'm really upset with your Drone too, lol. We lost amazing views !! Next time .
What an spectacular array of views...I can't begin to imagine the feeling there of being on top of those mountains and letting your eyes and your brain soak such magnificence....you guys ...I think Covid was meant to be...this is so bizarre that you happen to land in that part of the world just when you did....and you stayed and brought us such special places with just you ....I am in aw...Thank you! I can't wait for the next video!
This is stunning! Doesn't even seem real. Wowza! Not sure what happened to the editing or if it's just my phone. But here and there bright green flashing lights break up the video. Photosensitive here. But I'm determined to watch. 😁
I believe it has something to do with the cold and altitude. Same thing happened when you camped on the mountain during the "Hidden Camino Inca" excursion.
Here i am in Ireland being miserable and doing nothing but waiting for this ordeal to pass and I'm watching ye both living life to the full and making amazing memories. ...I envy what ye are doing. ....good luck to you both.....
Wonderful video!!!👏👏 it’s amazing the place and I am glad you had the opportunity to visit before you leave Cuzco. Lindsey you look beautiful running like a movie start😁 Hope next time you visit Machu Pichu !

A great way to end you time in Peru.
If only your drone worked.
Many things have gone wrong. That drone not working at rainbow mountain was the icing on the cake.
My sisters and I were in Cuzco last year, we enjoyed every minute of it so much that we will come back as soon as us possible and maybe in the future retired there, we fell in love with the place❤️

Exactly what I was thinking when Lindsey mentioned the altitude, quite close to Everest's base camp.
Wow! This definitely was the highlight of your trip in Peru and I’m glad you guys were able to see Rainbow Mountain. With or without your drone, you have provided great views. Great job!
