Thank goodness my speaker boxes have not degraded at all. I made my own speakers way back in 1976. They each contain one 15 inch woofer, 2 mid-range drivers, and 4 tweeters. The foam rings of the woofers eventually had turned to dust due to age. But for a cost of only $27, I obtained new rings and rebuilt the woofers. Once done, they were as good as new.
The sound quality seems very poor. Also, even though there is a cover on the cabinet, I would have removed the rust on the mid-range driver at least. I like that the old drivers are not scrapped, but the quality standard is not at a high level.
Another brilliant job, your box making and reconing skills are fantastic! Was good to see your sister/girlfriend/partner/wife getting involved, and even the dog wanted to have a go 😊. Well done once again sir 👍👍
amazing ..almost most of the projects successfully solved and mastery are at the beginning in the same condition ... as if you were sitting in the rain or in a flooded cellar ... probably the projects are thus prepared so that the result is as spectacular as possible ... which it really is
The assembly in the end was too rushed and there was no attention to detail. The Amp is not able to drive the speaker well as we can hear distorted frequencies in the demo at the end.
super restauration et beaucoup de travail malheureusement les haut parleur utilises dans cette enceinte sont tres bas de gamme et economiques la qualite du son son obtenu reste tres limitee
So where do you get most of your stuff from? Are you in the Philippines? Your very good with tools and wood working! Very nice job but I would have put newer tweeters in! Midrange then tweeter at the top!
That's like saying if you're going to restore an old Cadillac from the 50s and being like I wouldn't have restored it to original I would have upgraded it to a modern car with modern interior and a modern radio with the screen different steering wheel and putting big rims on it you're just ruining the car now from what it originally should have been he brought these speakers back to life they're still good speakers and I bet you they got bought up quick and also you got to remember not every speaker sold is going to be meant for high maintenance like if you need a speaker for somewhere in your garage or outside you're not going to be needing some really high class stuff just as long as it gets the sound done and it sounds good which it does then it's fine this guy did a great job and I wouldn't have changed a thing except different color lettering for the word "speaker" on the side and I most definitely sure this guy can make some really bad ass speakers I'm sure he could have turned the speaker into something extremely special but I'm sure he's just appreciating and bringing it back to its former glory if not better
Lolol. Two dollar speakers refoamed and a several thousand dollar machice too cut the cabinets...... Also I'm sure everyone knows it's a speaker, no reason to engrave it 😂

No wood harmed in the making of these speakers.... old or new

Amazing this the first time i have seen such restoration by woman. I like it . Keep it up sis......💥💥💥

I woildnt have wasted a nice speaker box on some cheap speakers. Could have used the old speakers to manufacture better speakers.

Knock off crown amp...lol. Yall sure do waste a lot of time on low-end speakers. You have great skills so let's see a well engineered speaker.
WOOFERS ARE CHEAP, BETTER COMPONENTS WOULD HELP *

усилитель колонку не тянет, хрип слышен
Very sloppy assembly
