Not only are they beautiful but they are top high end guitars. Yes; they are not cheap but they are still thousands of dollars less than a high end Les Paul. I bought his most basic guitar two years ago and I have been saving ever since to buy a second (look for a venus with a pale moon top at the end of the year (Yeah!))

The most amazing thing about that last low "swirl" is that we can clearly hear Tatiana pronouncing the "sw" at the beginning and the "rrl" at the end, instead of just unintelligible noise. In short, SWIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRRL!!! \m/
Yeah, lots of metal vocalist just go "ditdtaurwifhcigs6rqe6figihdura6ef" and you're supposed to read the lyrics to understand what tf does that say. Glad she works on her diction.
The vocal descriptive you're looking for is the Layne Staley effect, which is to say, God Tier. There is so much Alice in Chains in the clean vocals on this track its amazing, that needs to stay in the Jinjer sound permanently.
13:30 i agree tatianas harsh vocals have come a long way. she was ok but monotonous and more strain sound in their first albums, but now its so controlled, powerful, and diverse in sound. amazing
I'm new to your channel, after first catching your recent joint reaction with the pop singer. Great job! I'm here for the Jinjer! I love Tatiana's expressiveness and phonation, both with the cleans and the uncleans. I've been singing and playing bass professionally since 1978. I've always been a metalhead, but I never really got into extreme vocals much. I dig David Draiman, and I like early Phil Anselmo, and that was pretty much it. I do love the old school Little Richard "Heeeeyyyyyy!" with vibrato, that's been used by so many great soul singers, and by dUg Pinnick of King's X in a soul/metal crossover. I had an inkling when I heard Lacey Sturm of Flyleaf that I was gonna like female screaming. Tatiana was a revelation though. She screams in a way that's more appealing to me than any other. Awesome breakdown of the various subtechniques. I'm learning to do harsh vocals, but I'm taking it slow to avoid damage. I'm in a band that performs a lot, and I just turned 62. I have to exercise a little caution. I appreciate your expertise and acumen. Thanks for dropping some knowledge on us brotha!
Mark I just want to comment somewhere saying that you are such an inspiration to me as an artist. You are just such a beautiful person in these videos and in your vocal work and lyrics. I love the way you move and express yourself and how you feel things and are so positive and open. Thank you for being you!
If you want to see insanity, go watch they’re live performance of this at Hellfest. She can switch between singing and screaming basically at will, even at the end of an hour-long set.
You're inspiring me to want to learn how to growl... I kinda want to, anyway. I didn't used to listen to music with growls and screams, but now that I am, it's frustrating not to be able to sing along in those parts.
"i was pretty bad for 2/3 years" dang now i feel bad cause i was bad for 3/4 years lol. im on my 6th year of vocals now and i've made lots of progress since i got over that "bad" initial hurdle
Will you do a video about the new Make Them Suffer single "Contraband" featuring Courtney LaPlante? It would be interesting to hear your analysis, since there are three vocalists in that song.
yes progress makes perfect. It took me 2 years to figure it out for myself and now im in year 3 getting somewhat consistent, but sometimes it still sound one day like this and next like that.

I have just one reason that I like to learn how to growl and that is just to fuk with people. When Tatiana did that laughing growl in the prophecy I was just thinking about how much fun it would be to be able drop demonic laughter onto unsuspecting people. Purely for my own enjoyment of course.
OD Guitars. Roman is endorsed by them(him). OD - Omer Deutsch. He makes guitars with natural geometric design. Roman has another guitar(the green one) by him which is a multiscale(very awesome too).
Always great catching up on your reactions, glad you’re back in saddle again and out of the woods! Fingers crossed Century stops being babies and allows your release of “To the Hellfire” soon.
Idk if she went lower here or on Homeback, im always conflicted by that, but its always a treat to listen to her go even deeper. What an amazing singer, and the guys are exceptional musicians
Glad to hear the health issues are getting solved. Check out the new Lorna Shore song To The Hellfire COVER by Trevor Teichert. It's a one take and I know you'd love all the faces and mouth/tongue shapes you can see. Feel like it'd be a good way to show the techniques you frequently talk about.

With the groovy guitar/bass and female vocals, the first 30 seconds of the song has strong *uneXpect* vibes. I'd really like to see a reaction to that band someday! It's avant-garde metal with male and female vocals, along with some string and copper instruments. Almost as crazy as Igorr. Almost :P
I LOVE TO SEE YOU REATCT TO diamonds to dust by corpus christi and get your thoughts on his vocals!! And break it down there are some really good angles to see how he's producing his sounds
Imo, Jinjer is disguised as a metal group. It is mainly because of their sound and presentation. To me, the compositions they have produced since Vlad joined in 2016 are much more akin to classical and jazz structures than they are to metal. Their arrangments, chord structures, melodic, harmonic and rhythmic contents are much more related to classical European and jazz structures than they are to rock or metal formats. Many of their works could be transcribed for orchestras or large jazz ensembles. Imagine Gil Evans or Stravinsky or Wagner arranging Vortex with "traditional" instrumentation. Awesome
That's a great fkn idea! I have the Miroslav Philharmonik virtual orchestra in my DAW. I might have to try transcribing a Jinjer song for full orchestration. You've got me thinking now...!
Really great analysis! I'm not a vocalist, just an avid metal listener and this helped me understand a bit more about what I like and dislike about Tatiana's vocal ability. I think it's precisely that nasal coloring that's a bit too much for my taste (maybe her English accent contributes a little as well). Even though Tatiana's growls are unmatched, I prefer Vicky Psarakis (from the Agonist), her cleans feel more soothing. BTW, I hope to see Vicky on your channel, too (I suggest checking The Agonist - "The Gift Of Silence" or "In Vertigo"). Also, an unpopular suggestion which might be an interesting discovery for you: Biomechanical - Empires of The Worlds (Earache Records version, for acceptable audio). The mastermind behind it, John K, practically vanished from the metal scene, which I think it's a big loss, as he was an awesome vocalist, not just a crazy composer.
OD Guitars by Omer Deutsch. He does indeed make works of art. Great to see another Jinjer reaction on the channel!
I'd die a happy man with an OD guitar in my collection. My wallet isn't having any of it unfortunately.
More specifically, it’s a Venus model.
