I can tell you as someone who coaches 4-12 year olds for their old high school's youth program, some of the youngsters you come across have SOOOO much latent talent that just needs the right guidance to get unlocked. The reality is most of the kids who start sports young get burnt out by the time high school comes around, but those that don't and make it to that level have such an advantage it's wonderful. Anyway, great video! Cheers from California.
Our school has 50 kids Pre-Kindergarten through 3rd Grade. You need one coach per 2 kids at that age to get the most out of the one hour class so our head coach wisely lets parents with grappling experience help. Basically, the Head Coach and Assistant Coach show the move and then the parents coach the kids through it in pairs for a few minutes.
We don't allow parents into the wrestling room, so we can't do that; but that is the only way you can teach wrestling to children as young as 3-4 years old, they need direct supervision. Instead, our process is to get them used to exercise first (so they become coordinated), at around 5 years old we start playing wrestling based games to get them used to rougher play, and by 6 they are preparing for real wrestling matches. This is appropriate for the culture in our region (Long Island).
They are doing the right thing by not allowing parents in the room. They act retarded when their kid gets hurt or they think the kid is going to get hurt.
If you want some more beginner techniques and exercises for young wrestlers, I have a youtube channel called HITSQUAD WRESTLING and I show a lot of stuff geared towards younger wrestlers. I'm 13 myself
I've never seen or heard of a child getting injured from learning how to tumble. I've worked with thousands of children. Tumbling is common in gymnastics, cheerleading, wrestling, etc. There is nothing dangerous in this video, these are the only types of skills that 3-year-olds are ready to learn.

Having 3-4 year olds do forward and backward rolls over their heads… Are the instructors brain dead?
