Great and helpful video! Out of curiosity what’s the songs name? PS You should upload more often, I really enjoy the content!

David Michael The song was some royalty free tune I found, maybe through RUclips’s database. I hope to make many more when I settle into my new position.

I give students a coil of about 2 ft, and let them build off of a single strand. I would guess it's about 18 to 24 inches...

so i have to make a wire sculpture for my class and whenever i try and make any shape the wire doesn’t hold and it just comes undone. how do you make it so the wire stays in place? i’m using 16 gauge

You have to pinch very hard on the corners, like how staples bend to hold, or wrap a bit in the corners, or lap then and fold over corners. It does take a little practice and experimenting.

What sort of wire is it? Good video, but I agree with others, get rid of the music, you don't need it.

The music was so distracting, it was hard to follow or even hear the words. Maybe next time fade the music out before speaking and fade it back in at the end?

Sorry, no more music. I am learning...
