Thank you for your ideas. I am 72 and have been doing wire art since I first discovered Alexander Calder's work in the late 60's. I worked at the National Gallery of Canada when Calder was showing an exhibit there. For people who want to try to play with wire I suggest Not using the fancy expensive painted wire sold in craft stores. The paint peels off with much twisting and bending. For tiny sculptures I buy the pastic coated wire sold in hardware stores by the foot and I strip off the plastic coating. Since my husband and I travel alot this thin wire is convenient to work with even on a long plane ride. So far I've had no securiy issues. I will usually give away the tiny finished pieces to other passengers before we land.
You are a rock star!! Thank you. I was just trying to brainstorm up a contour drawing project for my Art 1 students before the semester wraps up. PerfectO!
Thanks a lot for this video and congratulations for your awesome channel! I have a question, do you think this project would be very challenging to do 7- 8 years old children? Or what age do you recommend this project would be appropriate for? Thanks in advance🥰🙏
Thank you so much! The youngest I’ve tried it 10-11 year olds, but if you buy the right wire I’d try it! Something thin gushed that’s easy to work with, maybe even jewelry wire. 💛
I give this video a thumbs up 👍 your content is exquisitely amazing, composed of great excellence and phenomenal excellence, here is my support for you, every goal you want to achieve in life requires a lot of effort and hard work, enjoy your day .,..
