Nice review. Well done. I like the Craigellachie 13 and the Bas-Armganac is on my shopping list for a while. Maybe I should by a bottle later this year. Cheerio and slainte
Just picked up my first travel retail in forever - Craigellachie 13 for €55 in 1L format. Not bad VFM for Worm Tubs I think. Also overlook this distillery OB and IB offerings unfortunately despite enjoying the profile so much!
Interesting. I left it alone because I just couldn't get my head around the price compared to the regular 13. I just couldn't see the reason for paying more for a finish.

I'm so ashamed I forgot about it. Adds a totally different dimension to the standard 13YO
I love Craigellachie 😊
It's a wonderful thing!
Nice reviewed. I enjoyed the Bas very much and it’s still pretty reasonable price-wise here in the states.
That's excellent to hear!
Nice one Phil! I enjoyed this one but somehow I felt like betraying the regular 13 which I absolutely adore 😅
I can understand this. Think of it less of a betrayal of a loved one. You're just making an interesting new acquaintance.
Nice review and notes! I have heard these cask series bottles are good. Cheers, Phil!
They've caught my attention!
I believe the 17 and 23 are still around and I think the 17 is fairly available.
Ahhhh. I thought they'd been fully discontinued. This is good news!

Maybe this way it will stay cheap...

I get that. But the regular one is just over the £50 mark now, at most retailers anyway. The extra few £ for this is worth it in my eyes.
Lighter color than the standard 13 year old. Only $60 for the 750 ml in the US.
Bargain
I did not like this Bas Armagnac version as much as the standard Craigellachie 13 ✌️
That's understandable. It does do things that are unexpected.
