Hey, thanks for the reaction, love it! Great research! The diablos are indeed sisters, both share the same wood and a similar finish, the red is more the hot rodded 24 fret Floyd Rose version, the other is more vintage with 22 frets and vintage trem. Both are equipped with bareknuckle nailbombs, no treble knob. The Floyd is locked to go down only (makes switching between tunings easier).
Thanks a ton for the info, Hans, and thanks for watching! One of these days you’ll have to join me on here and we can have a call and need out over gear. 😂
Recently Napalm Records announced that Melissa Bonny, Hans Platz, his Bandmate Harpist Jenny Diehl and Amaranthe Guiterist Morte Søren Løwensen signed a Deal with there new Side Project DARK SIDE OF THE MOON Great Reaction, Feuerschwanz is such a fun Band. Greetings from Germany
Finally, now you are ready for "Sasha,Subway to Sally,Feuerschwanz,Tanzwut,dArtagnan,Patty Gurdy - Kaufmann & Maid" You now know Sasha, Feuerschwanz (and maybe others of this constellation). It is still very special, because it started as some kind of prankexperiment and was never meant to be a full song, but then the "best of german medievel" gathered together to make it a real song and it is not bad at all, even still a parody on folk-music!
This was a blast! I am going to suggest to our guild to walk into every tent like they walked into town, from now on 🤣 . The world needs more of this silliness 🤘
This song is horrible! Once you've heard it once, you'll listen to it again and again and again and....well, you get the meaning. The original was already good, but the Feuerschwanz version is just a blast. Heard them last weekend in Nürnberg at the Strandkorbfestival and their music is totally addictive. Only problem is that you will catch yourself driving through your small German village, windows down and singing along while a lot of people look at you as if you were Satan reincarnated. Need another hammer of Feuerschwanz? Try "Malleus Malleficarum" or "Unter dem Drachenbanner", both songs that will stick to your brain for the next decades. And, if you are going for Ad Infinitum, this might be an interesting journey as I personally haven't heard too much from them, so digging into something new is always fun ;) Nice video Tank, well, as always!
Ah, the look on your face when Melissa switched to harsh vocals... Ad Finitum is all about clean vocals though, for more of the harsh ones you need to listen to Rage of Light.
Yeah, well said, I suggest “I Can, I Will” and “Fallen” and also their cover of the Amon Amarth song Twilight Of The Thunder God. Melissa Bonny also does guest vocals for Warkings on their songs “Sparta” and “Odin’s Sons”. Another great band that you should check out. 🤘🏻🙂
The stuffed fox you see in this video is a Tribute / reference to the seeed vocalist Pierre Baigorry (aka Peter Fox) also... Best "K" in history :D :D :D
@@themplar Peter Fox is by far one of Germany's most talented songwriters/composers/musicians. "Dickes B" by Seeed is also somewhat a theme to Berlin too, more in a dancehall way though - but great nevertheless... Melissa Bonny is known to do interviews and reaction videos with RUclipsrs she might even react to add infinitum with you if you know who to ask she's very friendly.
Ok, again translated lyrics: Song: Ding (Thing) Alright, today I'm in a pretty good mood I'm dressed up, put on a hat The Rolex is ticking, man, I look good Get the thrill I absolutely need Yeah, again a solo ride In this poser outfit, I get myself comfortable Getting ready, smoke sh*t Where are the chicks with poser neckline? (I} come into the club and enjoy the view This chick is nice and this one as well I sing a hook which makes any of them going crazy My wife's gonna give me an odd look if she finds out Doesn't matter, I need to go to town from time to time I'm not a househusband, I really need a drink which is worth it I move to the bar and chat up a woman Seven Mochitos for the lady and me All of a sudden I enjoy each and every song I even dance to a song by Placebo I'm drunk and the lady's drunk as well Oohoohoo, you pretty thing I hide my wedding ring Ding dong, we could get at it But we’re just sippin’ on our drink You are Queen and I am King When I see you I have to sing: "Tingalingaling, you pretty thing" We're drunk, we're horney (literally: pointed) My wife's at home with the kids At the moment I fight The wish which everyone can see Flashing up in my eyes Hey man, what a cool chick She says: let it out And she's fired up to get on it I've got to buy some time Keep ordering more drinks, She's not my kind That's what I try to convince myself of Ridiculous! I'm gonna get drunk Bartender, get me some more Of what's in the barrels I'll drink it all because it makes me forget: My thoughts are obsessed with sex She wants to see the man taking the lead But I'm drunk, I squint at her, A moment later my head lies next to the toilet I'd never have bet That puking would save my marriage Oohoohoo, you pretty thing I hide my wedding ring Ding dong, we could get at it We’re just sippin’ on our drink You are Queen and I am King When I see you I have to sing: "Tingalingaling, you pretty thing" Oh See that burning body (hot) Those boobs in a naughty (Top) Red lips so juicy, (oh God) In the middle of your web, please don't stop Take my brain turn it off Don't feel shame, don't feel love More champagne for our game It's insane but it's aaah Do you wanna ruin my life? Now everyone will understand why so many metalheads from Switzerland till Denmark listen to Melissas music. Can't wait to listen to her new band. Great reaction. And nice that Melissa and Oldskulenerd came to the live chat. I had fun.
Feuerschwanz was started because the musicians felt exactly like you did, Tank. They missed some humor and fun in the medieval metal scene. They do have "serious" songs as well, though. The song that you heard in the end was "das elfte Gebot" and is one of the more serious ones. One of the singers from Feuerschwanz, Ben, has another band, d'Artagnan, with lots of awesome songs to check out as well :)
This was just as good and fun as expected. The "I like it whatever it was" at the end was "Das Elfte Gebot", the title song of the album. Its lyrics are more thoughtful, about living your life to its fullest, as if death were coming tomorrow. If you want to see more about the bands genre crossing virtuosity, I recommend their original song Schubsetanz and the black metal version they made of it. Those would in my opinion be the next steps to explore Feuerschwanz. As for Ad Infinitum, take anything you find on RUclips, it's all good. 😁
About the location where this was filmed: It is the LARP (Live Acting Role Play) village Bogenwald, in Lower Saxony in northern Germany. And for some really impressive harsh vocals by Melissa, check out the Amon Amarth cover "Twilight of the Thunder God" she did with her old band Rage of Light.
Thanks Andy, i was actually wondering if it was Bogenwald. Would be a blast to go there at some point in time. Need to get my kids LARP-ready before though 😉 And it's rather far away...
@@Wuthahn_ Das Elfte Gebot saved my life literally. I don't want to talk about it, but if it wasn't for the lyrics i would have ended my life during lockdown.
Love it when a band takes their art seriously but not themselves. Please try Feuerschwanz - Schubsetanz (blackmetal version) where they parody themselves. "I like whatever that is" - that's Das Elfte Gebot, the album title track, and an absolute banger.
My favorite cover version ever is „I see Fire - Ed Sheeran“ from Feuerschwanz. That has so much power and need to be the theme song from Lord of the Rings. Not that slow Ed Sheeran original 😉🤘🔥
Ed Sheerans is more fitting for the movies but yes their version is way more epic. I like that the video is feturing a Daenerys cosplay even though the song is from the Hobbit. But thats intentional becaue Ben/Prinz Hodenherz is a huge Tolkien fan himself.
This song went from "recommended by RUclips" to "single purchased and added to playlist" immediately. That riff is so good and the whole song just flows. Awesome stuff, I can't wait to try out more Feuerschwanz.
Yet another "Pain Stage" Headliner @ Summerbreeze '22... so damn excited - in Germany we had hard Covid rules (which was fine for me btw).. lookin' forward so bad :) btw @ Tank this is 3/4 @ Painstage
Dude I've never seen metal reaction channel that goes into the equipment and instruments! As soon as you started doing that I hit subscribe. Looking forward to more from you! :)
THIS! Loved it! And Feuerschwanz is perfect in combining the goofy fun stuff with incredible musicianship. Who wants to be serious all the time anyway?😉
When this damn song came out I played it on loop for ages... here we go again I guess! Also, serious shout out to Folk Metal, I discovered it during the worst time in my life (2010/2011) and it brought me some so much joy! I think it had its "golden era" around that time but it seems to be making a comeback and I'm 100% here for it!
Huzzah! It‘ a little after midnight and I just returned from a fantastic Saltatio Mortis open air concert in Oberhausen, Germany, and what do I see? Tank did the reaction to the Feuerschwanz cover of „Ding“! Best start for the weekend! Thanks a lot, Tank!
I love that you pointed out that theyre just having fun because thats art for me,having fun and being creative is what art is all about and i dont understand that "hate" on bands that are just having fun
maybe you got so many recommendations for this one, because we knew, that you would looove it. and this reaction was indeed so much fun and entertaining to watch. thank you, tank! I believe somewhere on YT there is a making of of this. you were right: they stated there, that it was very much fun to shot this. you were right on the other subject too: one thing, why I love japanese metal is that they are not afraid to touch other genres, like some metalbands are.
my brother came to visit me yesterday. he is an actor living in erlangen/germany. turned out, that the feuerschwanz drummer is a pal of his. the world is small.
Great video! I'd watched the Feuerschwanz video many times before this reaction to it turned up in my YT feed, so I knew Melissa's vocal switch was coming. I kept watching you because I figured your reaction to that would be awesome and I wasn't disappointed! I agree that seeing bands have fun is a good thing, and that great music and a bit of silliness aren't mutually exclusive! 🙂
So glad I recommended this and I'm even more glad that you decided to react not only to this, but also to the original. Not many reaction channels out there putting as much effort in their videos as you do. Much love from Germany
Just found your channel, but discovered Melissa a year ago and knowing you had not come across her until this video was looking forward to your reaction to her singing, similar to mine. Moving on to your Ad Infinitum video - great work Tank
Really great reaction! Loved your face on Melissa's harsh vocals :D The song in their end card was "Das Elfte Gebot" ("The Eleventh Commandment), the title Song of the Album and an absolute banger. You should check it out sometime, as well as "Meister der Minne". I also love when metal bands branch out, I always have great fun listening to Pop goes Punk/Metal etc as well as artists like Leo Morachiolli (hope I wrote his last name right).
That was so much fun! I digged Melissa Bonny so much that I had to check out Ad Infinitum and I loved what I heard. So far "See you in hell" is my favorite, but there aren't any harsh vocals in that. Their other music vids were awesome as well, though I wouldn't start with "I am the stom" if you are going to react to them, because there aren't any instruments in that one. Thanks for the new band, even though you haven't reacted to them yet, haha!
my main experiences with Melissa's harsh vocals have been in her stuff with Rage of Light and guesting with Warkings- Ad Infinitum seems to be more clean vocals
Just back here again to watch this for the 27th time (probably)... Such a great song and video. My favourite reaction on RUclips by a mile because this is what reactions should be about; Watching someone who shares your passion, seeing something for the first time and sharing that moment. You got me into Feuerschwanz and, like you, they've become one of my favourite bands right now. Brilliant musicians, being creative and just having fun. It's what the world needs! You know music is great when you don't even speak German and it makes literally no difference. Cheers, Tank, you're the man!
This video was probably your introduction to the _Miezen_ (rough translation: kittens), the band's resident dancers. There used to be three of them, but for quite some years now it's two of them, always the same two women. Most videos and stage performances have at least one of them, often both. Their job is to dance on stage, interact with the audience and provide some eye candy. Years ago they had cat-like makeup, but that's very reduced now and they only have cat-ear headbands now, plus fake cat tails on their shorts :-) They can be seen throughout the video, in the shot at 11:50 they're the ones on the left and right with the flaming swords. Like all the others, they have band names. The redhead is called Mieze Myu (aka Jenny Diehl), and besides dancing she also plays the harp on some Feuerschwanz songs (also in the upcoming project of Hans Platz with Melissa Bonny). She's also a photographer and videographer with her own small film company she has with two guys - they did some videos for Feuerschwanz. If you want to hear and see her play harp for Feuerschwanz, check out their song _Hier kommt Alex_ (another cover, this time of an almost-legendary song by German punk band _Die Toten Hosen_ ). I know less about the other Mieze, the one with the blond rasta hair. Her band name is Mieze Musch-Musch, sometimes she also goes by Susi Miez or Hexe (?). Like Myu she apparently sells band merch from time to time, but she mainly seems to enjoy performing with the band. Recently she was in a music video for dArtagnan, the other band of Hodi aka Ben Metzner, Feuerschwanz's singer and multi-instrumentalist (even including the jaw harp, as heard and seen in this video).
fun fact: The (double-)album "Das Elfte Gebot" has 2 discs. The first one, the regular album, has 11 tracks on it. It's called after the title track ("The eleventh commandment"). 11 in the title, and 11 tracks. The second disc has 7 covers on it and is titled "Die sieben Todsünden" ("The seven deadly sins"). 7 in the title, and 7 tracks. I just love the goofyness of this band.
When I'm having a bad day, I go to Nanowar of Steel, Band-Maid, Type O Negative, Korpiklaani and folks like that. Now I get to add these guys in. Groups who are incredible musicians and have a blast doing it. This is what music is all about. Thank you for introducing me to these guys.
A long time ago, my former band and I were playing on a newcomer festival in Erlangen the same day Feuerschwanz was playing there as well. Loved them! Never thought that they would ever get as big as they are, but it is truly well deserved!
Thanks for a really awesome reaction again! Even more with doing the original "Ding" before to get a grasp of what was about to come and how they would change it up. I personally am always kind of intrigued by band branching out towards other genres (even those I don't like), but it opens up so much experience and maybe possibilities for the band/members itself. As I remember, they also did a kind of reaction/commentary kind of video, where they talked about the songs and covers they did on this awesome album "Das Elfte Gebot". (Really good covers and such a blast of an album itself; e.g. Kampfzerg, which you already listened to :))
Feuerschwanz is epic live. Discovered them by accident two years ago at Steampunk/Renfair/Madmax Cosplay event (Fark). The last two albums (Methämmer, 11.Gebot) are significantly more metal than previous ones. They never took themselves seriously though.
Seen them as an opener on Summer Breeze 2013. Usually openers are less visited but when i got in front of the stage it was already almost as full as if it was time for the headliner ... at around noon !!! It was a blast ... !
I always love how honest you are! You also just scratched the Genre of german medieval metal :D If you continue this road you will have tons of bands and songs ahead of you hehe. I would highly recommend Harpyie or Vogelfrey!
hey, I recently stumbled over your reaction-videos and I have to say I really enjoy your approach. Cause you don't just watch a video an over-react to it, but you really give insight into the songs, bands, videos etc. I feel like really lerning something and that gives me so much more than watching a dude or a girl going like "wow" or "this shit is carzy" and nothing more. Keep it up man! Also I noticed some hebrew letters on your forarm. I'm ab bit curious for the meaning of it. Anyways have a good one :)
This was a lot of fun. Considering how much you've liked Eluveitie and Saltatio Mortis, I still think you should check out Haggard's material. The downside is that Haggard hasn't done a new album since '08, so anything you'd find would be pretty old by YT standards -- but they've got an awesome sound and it really does help show where modern folk/medieval metal comes from. Whatever you choose to watch, keep on rocking and I'll keep watching it!
U are for real the first reaction yt guy i really love to watch! All ur knowledge u share to us.. u are so open minded.. such a cool guy! Damn i am a fan of urs! Thanks for the good work and pls keep going!:) By the way: melissa sings a lot in the band Warkings, this band is also kind of interesting, since the band members play a role of a warriortype of the past. In the lyrics of the songs they meet each other in valhalla and talk about there stories of the battlefield. They also try to stay in their roles while giving interviews. Again, thank you so much for all ur good work!
I admit I did it the cheap way but I’ve downloaded their new album “Memento Mori” and oh my f**king ass it’s absolutely incredible. Props to you dude you’ve given me another band to check out and enjoy 🤘🤘🤘
Aww I missed the premier! But still, had so much fun watching this. Such a well done cover blending all these genres together. Always enjoy the commentary on the instruments too, even if I know nothing about them!
Late to the party, I guess ;D Was supposed to only go clothes shopping (which I don't like) and ended up stuck at the electronics store scavenging and hunting for new records instead - you just can't leave me unattended in a record or book store 🤣 So,.... back to what I was supposed to post, I guess: The American metal scene isn't the only that is super serious and hate on bands just having a blast on stage, being goofy or worst of all like other genres and doing collabs or covers outside of their "natural habitat" - I personally do love bands being and doing all of that and I definitely had a lot of fun discovering this here with you 🥰 That said, I didn't even know that Melissa Bonny was singing for Ad Finitum and Rage of Light - and I've actually already listened (and I guess, I actually have even suscribed to Rage of Light here on RUclips ^^') and definitely enjoyed listening to them. Also, while perusing the CD shelves today, I found out that Neara are actually are back in the game and released a new album last year - so if you feel like something leaning towards HSB- and Caliban-level heaviness, I'm almost sure you'd enjoy checking those guys out. Oh, and since I'm subscribed to Napalm Records, too, they just released a targelharp play through of a song by a band called Nytt Land, that seems like something you might enjoy as well ;)
Thanks for your insights, mate! I pretty much had the same impressions when I saw that clip the first time, and your insider view and extra info totally confirmed that. Just love Feuerschwanz's job of medievalizing and metalling up that song. Feuerschwanz = FUUUUUUUUUN!!!🤘🤘🤘
I knew you would love this and I 100% agree with your stance on covers and bands having fun That sliding walk that the band is doing is also a direct reference to Seeed as they do that in a number of their videos and live performances. RIP boundzound
The scene where the guys enter the "club" reminds me a little bit of the entry scene of the video "Word Up!" by Cameo and the following group dance looks like Pat Benatar's "Love Is A Battlefield".
Whenever I spot one of your reaction videos I don't know yet, I watch the originals first, and so far only knowing Melissa from the "Warriors of the World" video, I did not expect her harsh vocals either. So I was of course extra giddy in this video, when she was stepping up for the dance battle scene, and your reaction did not disappoint 😁 PS: I only recently started my earnest dive into German medieval rock/metal, so far I only knew Feuerschwanz's "Sex Is Muss", and this renewed interest is basically thanks to you and started with getting to know Saltatio Mortis' version of Hypa Hypa. So thanks man, I'm all on board with this, and I'm REALLY tempted to get tickets for this year's Metfest in Cologne.
Can't wait to see this. Also, you need to see the new Neal Morse Band video that just dropped on 7/21 (DAMN!) and, if you haven't yet, the new Liquid Tension Experiment vids (all original members). These vids have gear too!
Another great recommendation for checking out Melissa Bonney is the songs she did with Warkings. On the two songs she does with them, “Odin’s Sons” and “Sparta” she does straight harsh vocals. However, in those songs she’s credited as “Queen of the Damned” Great video! Have a great day!
I don't even really like German music (some old songs purely for nostalgia), but I LOVE watching foreigners react to German bands and music! Love your videos!
Once you hear Malissa Bonnie you gotta check out her group Ad Infinitum with her song Marching on Versailles. Also two members of this band, Melissa, and members of Ameranthe recently formed a new group called Dark Of The Moon! Also still want to see your reaction to F.E.V.E.R by Ordan Ogan
What you are saying is on point: It's just a hell of a blast. Feuerschwanz in general ist meant to be funny, silly and with dark humour, which tickles the tastebud of many german metalheads. It's great, everyone is having a good time with this band.
Yaaass ! This absolutely ticked all the boxes for me. It's always great to see Melissa. You're right that unfortunately some metalheads take metal far too seriously. It becomes a religion to some. Cheers dude !
Music in background: seeed - >Sean paul Feuerschwanz - > seeed Such a small part of the video, easy to overhear but next level. Best reaction videos. Every part of them are there for a reason.
Hi Tank🤘🏻 Greetings from Germany 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Great Show👍🏻 By the way … the City of Erlangen is also the city where J.B.O. are from ✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻 All the best Kerim, Germany
Great band, and great video. Weidly made me tear up too. I know how much you love folk. Should watch Ode to Arma official video by Suidakra. Great band and video. Good shots of gear. Love your work as always 🤘
Hey Tank, yet another great video man. I ain't.gonna lie, the more i.listen to ding the better.it gets. Both original and the cover. Anyhow, i know you're schedule or queue of songs you want to react to is pretty busy but would you mind adding Thresher by Hellions there? It is one of my favorites songs that i can listen to non stop and i would never get.bored of it and that's because i loveeeee melodies and that song just checks all the boxes for me. It ain't heavy but it has some good lyrics with amazing vocals and melancholic melodies. Hopefully you'll like it 💗
The fun is what it's all about. It's why I love bands like twelve foot ninja and Eskimo callboy, you can tell just from their sound they're just having an absolute blast and it makes such a positive impact.
I must admit, I was curious, but also sceptical about this since your reaction on the original by Seeed. Sceptical, because I didn't knew that medieval folkmetal actually was a thing until I heard about it on your channel and most things I've seen weren't necessarily my cup of tea. But I also must admit that, even though the original will always be my #1, that this song was a lot of fun to watch and to listen to, especially the hook (or the chorus) made me bang 😁 Also Melissa Bonny is definitely an eye-catcher and her voice is amazing. Never heard of her band before either... I'm actually really glad that I left my own comfort zone when it comes to rock music 🤘
Tank.. This rabbit hole is deep!! been into metal over 40 years and Feuerschwanz is legit and fun as hell. Melissa Bonny's voice is addicting as well, I know you already have sampled Saltatio Mortis.. There's more little brother, enjoy..
hey Tank. If you're gonna check out Ad Infinitum, might as well take a look at Rage of Light as well. Melissa did their vocals as well until a few months ago.. and she just formed a new band with members from Feurschwanz and Amaranthe, called Dark Side of The Moon, and I for one can't wait to hear it. Great reaction as always.
Man Tank, your videos are so awesome... I am a musician myself (trombone & guitar - especially the trombome has taught me to listen extremely carefully) and claim for myself to hear a lot out of a song. From most reactions I watch from you I already have seen the original video (or heard the song mostly) but you alway are able to point something out that I overheard. The tamborino to be precise. You quickly became my favourite ractor. Keep it up man and please try to do some cooperation with Julia from Australia (you know her). Stay healthy! Best wishes from Hamburg
Great reaction and great cover! I love Mittelalterrock, but I am not very familiar with Feuerschwanz yet. Also, thanks to the TankFacts I learned they did an awesome cover of _Hier Kommt Alex_ by my all time favourite band, Die Toten Hosen, a german punk band. Thanks 😁
5:52 the hat goes flyng and you know Tank has a really good time. And what you heard at the end (someone probably already told you) was "Das 11te Gebot" by Feuerschwanz, give it a try.....together with "Schubsetanz". Good times will be ahead of you and Rock On.
Hey, thanks for the reaction, love it! Great research! Melissa Bonny is known to do interviews and reaction videos with RUclipsrs she might even react to add infinitum with you if you know who to ask she's very friendly.
Melissa Bonny did a song with War Kings called "Sparta". She's got some great harsh vocals there too!
She also did the song "Odin's Sons" with Warkings.
That song is awesome
Odins sons is A TUNE
Ok, again translated lyrics:
Song: Ding (Thing)
Alright, today I'm in a pretty good mood
I'm dressed up, put on a hat
The Rolex is ticking, man, I look good
Get the thrill I absolutely need
Yeah, again a solo ride
In this poser outfit, I get myself comfortable
Getting ready, smoke sh*t
Where are the chicks with poser neckline?
(I} come into the club and enjoy the view
This chick is nice and this one as well
I sing a hook which makes any of them going crazy
My wife's gonna give me an odd look if she finds out
Doesn't matter, I need to go to town from time to time
I'm not a househusband, I really need a drink which is worth it
I move to the bar and chat up a woman
Seven Mochitos for the lady and me
All of a sudden I enjoy each and every song
I even dance to a song by Placebo
I'm drunk and the lady's drunk as well
Oohoohoo, you pretty thing
I hide my wedding ring
Ding dong, we could get at it
But we’re just sippin’ on our drink
You are Queen and I am King
When I see you I have to sing:
"Tingalingaling, you pretty thing"
We're drunk, we're horney (literally: pointed)
My wife's at home with the kids
At the moment I fight
The wish which everyone can see
Flashing up in my eyes
Hey man, what a cool chick
She says: let it out
And she's fired up to get on it
I've got to buy some time
Keep ordering more drinks,
She's not my kind
That's what I try to convince myself of
Ridiculous! I'm gonna get drunk
Bartender, get me some more
Of what's in the barrels
I'll drink it all because it makes me forget:
My thoughts are obsessed with sex
She wants to see the man taking the lead
But I'm drunk, I squint at her,
A moment later my head lies next to the toilet
I'd never have bet
That puking would save my marriage
Oohoohoo, you pretty thing
I hide my wedding ring
Ding dong, we could get at it
We’re just sippin’ on our drink
You are Queen and I am King
When I see you I have to sing:
"Tingalingaling, you pretty thing"
Oh
See that burning body (hot)
Those boobs in a naughty (Top)
Red lips so juicy, (oh God)
In the middle of your web, please don't stop
Take my brain turn it off
Don't feel shame, don't feel love
More champagne for our game
It's insane but it's aaah
Do you wanna ruin my life? Say what!
You wanna tell my wife? Please stop!
Things are getting real tight, I never thought
You'd set me up!
All I wanted was a body for delight, „let's get naughty“
You said, right? Now you say you love me day and night!
Who's gonna save me from this fright?
Oohoohoo, you pretty thing
I hide my wedding ring
Ding dong, we could get at it
We’re just sippin’ on our drink
Oohoohoo, you pretty thing
You are Queen and I am King
When I see you I have to sing:
"Tingalingaling, you pretty thing"
Oohoohoo
Oohoohoo
Oohoohoo
Oohoohoo...
Soo cool that you translated it 😉❤️
🙌🙌🙌
And Erlangen is the Home of German Comedy Metal.
@@joergdossler2381 JBO and Freedom Call ,FTW
@@frankthetankfrombavaria sounds great! You can find BTS and making of videos for Ding on youtube where you can have a good look at the location
Das Elfte Gebot is probably the greatest song they've ever done. Not listening to this is missing out big time :)
"I like whatever that is" - that's Das Elfte Gebot, the album title track, and an absolute banger.
and as with Ding, he should definitely compare it with the original
@@Andy_from_de Both are just silly fun anyway.
How long until there's a lute or hurdy gurdy or something like that on the wall behind you? :D
Seriously, it's fun watching you having fun.
"I wanna hear that part again" Yep Me Too!!😀😀👍👍
Big fun watching this! And I really appreciate how you approach different genres and also lyrics in foreign languages. Great entertainment!
O woow! Sadly missed the premiere, but had só much fun watching this! Thanks
Just found your channel, but discovered Melissa a year ago and knowing you had not come across her until this video was looking forward to your reaction to her singing, similar to mine. Moving on to your Ad Infinitum video - great work Tank
Really great reaction! Loved your face on Melissa's harsh vocals :D
The song in their end card was "Das Elfte Gebot" ("The Eleventh Commandment), the title Song of the Album and an absolute banger.
Thanks for the new band, even though you haven't reacted to them yet, haha!
if you want more of her harsh vocals i recommend warkings feat. the queen of the damned (which is her), either Odin's sons or sparta
my main experiences with Melissa's harsh vocals have been in her stuff with Rage of Light and guesting with Warkings- Ad Infinitum seems to be more clean vocals
I just love your reaction videos! Everytime a joy to see you having fun with these great bands
Thank you!
Absolute fun blast & awesome to see you happying-up during this video 😂 great to smile together 😄🤘🏼
I love the way metal is these days its in such a fun place.
I Love your Reaktion!
Your Smile ist fantastic!
Thanks for giving me Nanowars of Metal 😁
Another german Band (even though not metal) you might like would be "Santiano", medieval/Shanty-Rock
I agree, really awesome northern german sea shanty style music :)
A lot of german texts, though, so knowing german comes in handy.
Thanks a ton!
Thanks for the good work and pls keep going!:)
By the way: melissa sings a lot in the band Warkings, this band is also kind of interesting, since the band members play a role of a warriortype of the past. In the lyrics of the songs they meet each other in valhalla and talk about there stories of the battlefield.
They also try to stay in their roles while giving interviews.
Again, thank you so much for all ur good work!
In keeping with the Floor - Hannes pun/thing:
"dId yOu kNoW tHaT Melissa Bonny iS "Married" tO tHe dRuMmeR oF Amaranthe?" ^^
Love this version Tank, so much I bought the album. The video is fantastic. Great reaction bud, more of this stuff please
This is easily the most Metal video of all time. It's got everything we need!
Late to the party, I guess ;D
Was supposed to only go clothes shopping (which I don't like) and ended up stuck at the electronics store scavenging and hunting for new records instead - you just can't leave me unattended in a record or book store 🤣
So,.... back to what I was supposed to post, I guess:
The American metal scene isn't the only that is super serious and hate on bands just having a blast on stage, being goofy or worst of all like other genres and doing collabs or covers outside of their "natural habitat" - I personally do love bands being and doing all of that and I definitely had a lot of fun discovering this here with you 🥰
That said, I didn't even know that Melissa Bonny was singing for Ad Finitum and Rage of Light - and I've actually already listened (and I guess, I actually have even suscribed to Rage of Light here on RUclips ^^') and definitely enjoyed listening to them.
Feuerschwanz = FUUUUUUUUUN!!!🤘🤘🤘
that was my first exposure to Melissa Bonny,as well. HOLY SHIT! that was some nice stuff
This was a fun one, cannot wait for the orbit culture premiere!!! Been jamming to it for the entire day.
Thanks for this reaction...
once again enjoyed watching it ... thanks for the facts ...
Dude, you are awesome!
Thx a lot for your passion and fun videos.
Cheers from Germany :)
I knew you would love this and I 100% agree with your stance on covers and bands having fun
That sliding walk that the band is doing is also a direct reference to Seeed as they do that in a number of their videos and live performances. RIP boundzound
This is legit one of the greatest covers of all time.
They put a making of for this on RUclips, it was a lot of fun :)
The scene where the guys enter the "club" reminds me a little bit of the entry scene of the video "Word Up!" by Cameo and the following group dance looks like Pat Benatar's "Love Is A Battlefield".
You are such a sympathic guy. Rock on, man! 😊
Whenever I spot one of your reaction videos I don't know yet, I watch the originals first, and so far only knowing Melissa from the "Warriors of the World" video, I did not expect her harsh vocals either.
So I was of course extra giddy in this video, when she was stepping up for the dance battle scene, and your reaction did not disappoint 😁
PS: I only recently started my earnest dive into German medieval rock/metal, so far I only knew Feuerschwanz's "Sex Is Muss", and this renewed interest is basically thanks to you and started with getting to know Saltatio Mortis' version of Hypa Hypa. So thanks man, I'm all on board with this, and I'm REALLY tempted to get tickets for this year's Metfest in Cologne.
Oh the Melissa Bonny rabbit hole!
Ad infinitum
Rage of Light
And might I recommend her role as queen of the damned with Warkings 😁
If you watch videos of SEEED live, the choreographed stuff makes even more sense. Great cover
Fantastic Reaction!!
Thank you very very much ♡♡
Can't wait to see this. Also, you need to see the new Neal Morse Band video that just dropped on 7/21 (DAMN!) and, if you haven't yet, the new Liquid Tension Experiment vids (all original members). These vids have gear too!
thx for making me smile and brigthen up my day. the last week has been horrible to me. so thx for your work and thx for beeing so entertaining.
Another great recommendation for checking out Melissa Bonney is the songs she did with Warkings. On the two songs she does with them, “Odin’s Sons” and “Sparta” she does straight harsh vocals. However, in those songs she’s credited as “Queen of the Damned”
Great video! Have a great day!
this is why i love bands who can have fun with what they do, such as Alestorm. probably the most fun concert ive been to
I don't even really like German music (some old songs purely for nostalgia), but I LOVE watching foreigners react to German bands and music! Love your videos!
I'm pretty much obsessed with the German music scene right now. It's fantastic.
Yes, they had fun as you can see in the making of video .
it was worth the wait..just loved it :) all about the fun
Over the past 1-2 years this band has entered my top 5 list, this band is great!
Music in background:
seeed - >Sean paul
Feuerschwanz - > seeed
Such a small part of the video, easy to overhear but next level.
Best reaction videos. Every part of them are there for a reason.

Hi Tank🤘🏻 Greetings from Germany 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Great Show👍🏻
By the way … the City of Erlangen is also the city where J.B.O. are from ✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻

My face hurt from smiling at this video! It's so good and I love the comedy aspects of it!
music is fun and some bands/actors got it and with the vids its more fun :D
Melissa's vocals takes the intensity to a new level! :D It's fun, It's brutal, It's metal \m/ Love it! :D
Great band, and great video. Weidly made me tear up too.
I know how much you love folk. Should watch Ode to Arma official video by Suidakra. Great band and video. Good shots of gear.
Love your work as always 🤘
Now that is a birthday present. Thank you Tank
Happy Birthday!
@@TankTheTech thank you
Hey Tank, yet another great video man. Hopefully you'll like it 💗
agreed, fun as hell, enjoyed this mini-series of reactions, loved the original as well...good shit, as always
The fun is what it's all about. It's why I love bands like twelve foot ninja and Eskimo callboy, you can tell just from their sound they're just having an absolute blast and it makes such a positive impact.
Such a fun song to listen to man and i loved seeing how happy you were with it
Gonna be stuck in my head all day
I must admit, I was curious, but also sceptical about this since your reaction on the original by Seeed. Sceptical, because I didn't knew that medieval folkmetal actually was a thing until I heard about it on your channel and most things I've seen weren't necessarily my cup of tea. But I also must admit that, even though the original will always be my #1, that this song was a lot of fun to watch and to listen to, especially the hook (or the chorus) made me bang 😁
Also Melissa Bonny is definitely an eye-catcher and her voice is amazing.
Great reaction - i really like those surprises the community gives you! 🤘
I got into Ad Infinitum last year, recently found Rage of Light, and just heard about the side project
I can’t wait to see what they make
Man Tank, your videos are so awesome...
Another great cover by Feuerschwanz is "Amen and Attack" (originally by Powerwolf)!
Thanky for your amazing videos!
