Heck cattle and birds on Dutch island Goeree-Overflakkee - Cycling in The Netherlands

The 'Slikken van Flakkee', the 'Krammerse Slikken'; loads of nature on Goeree-Overflakkee, an island in The Netherlands. On a cycling trip you will see heck battle, fjord horses and birds. During winter, with some luck, you'll get to see some flamingos in the Grevelingenmeer as well. I make a few cycling tours on the island. Through the wildness, but also through towns such as Middelharnis, Sommelsdijk, Ooltgensplaat and Oude-Tonge, where you'll see many reminders of the 1953 flood disaster.
I also will take the boat to bird island Bliek! Coerd de Heer, manager of the Menheerse Werf in Middelharnis, brings me along.
