You get better and better every video.
You have me more disturbed and scared by a bit of old rope than I ever imagined possible. You have a beautifully disturbed imagination!
I got a dry erase battle mat recently, then realized my drawing skills and the 2d nature of the images left something to be desired. Stumbled upon your channel and now I'm well on my way down the crafting rabbit-hole. Awesome work my dude and thanks for the inspiration
I’d forgotten how good this channel was. I eagerly await your distant return
Next time make cardboard houses please
(I dont have xps foam but i need houses)
Great videos btw :)
If you're in the US try a dollar store or walmart for foam core board.
I'll consider! Definitely sounds like a good and simple build
yeah I kow what you mean it seems affordable but I myself have been to every type of dollar store, craft department, and walmart and nobody seems to have the xps foam.
That was another great idea. You have such a good imagination when it comes to creating these crafts. Thanks for sharing this with us.
You really do come up with some great ideas. 👍🏻
Also, I could definitely watch an ep where you narrate one of your d&d adventures.
Please God, make that happen ... in english language
Hello Bard, I'm Agustin, from Argentina, thank you for all your work. I watched most of your videos and I got inspired by it.
I'm Gmastering a MERP long-term campaing.
Ost-in-Edhil, the great Eregion Fortress, is going to fall at some point. I pretend to have ready, at least, an elven wall&gate and a tower.
I'm getting lots of inspiration, tips and techniques from your Chanel.
Keep it up 👍💪
Thanks!
Great video as always. Fantastic idea about using the rope to create "fantasy shrubbery"! Also, your timing on explaining the difference between the bottled quickshade and the big tin of quickshade could not have been better for me - I was just looking at getting the tin and did not realize the differences ... I would not have been happy to have invested that money for a different product - Thank you !!!
I stumbled across your channel this morning. I am glad I did. I've just started crafting terrain and table top accessories. I've used some cardboard, cheap dollar store foam, and air dry clay. I love your style of keeping it simple but still having good results.
You are so freaking awesome!!! I love your work!!! I hope i can do crafts like all the things you do... I'm really a big fan of you and your works... keep on inspiring others...
The rope is an epic idea - perfect for a project I’m planning👍👍👍
I am absolutely using this technique to base Warhammer miniatures, perhaps even to scratch build some Necron C'tan models or any levitating effect really!! Thanks a lot for the inspiration!
Those ropes have a great texture! Makes me think you could just cover a cylinder or something with stands from them to create a bark-ish texture :D
Such a majestic hobby
I recently started to build/craft miniature terrains and buildings, this was the video that inspired me to try to make trees.
Though I found the whole process of using regular glue too slow, and tedious. So I started using hot-glue instead.
I haven't gotten the painting down just yet, but even just base coated with brown they look great
God damn it, I consider myself a creative person, but then you come along with somethiong like this and I'm just blown away! :D So simple but so great! It looks great as some sort of weird fungus, or something from underdark! Now I have to ravage my house for scrap rope lol.
So I started watching your videos about 3 months ago and I have become obsessed with the hobby. You do such a good job with such simple to find materials. Keep up the great work!
What a cool idea!! Love the cutting noises, too
Thanks!
Thank you very much Lucas. With your video i learned how to craft some useful things for D&D and now start with dice tower. Not all kitchen knife is good, but i found one. I am too play a bard in the game.
You can also install a dimmed LED (green, yellow or red for example) into the bottom of it for a nice glowing plant/growth effect.
Nice job. These are cool. Your ability to use "found objects" as terrain pieces is really great. Keep up the good work.
"this build is easy and only uses cheap materials"
*goes to pick up cat*
Those rope trees will do nicely for Zona Alpha. Thanks!
Thanks so much again for another fun terrain build
I really liked these; super cool use of rope.
During halloween I had bought a bag of cheap plastic eye's meant to be decoration and have been wondering what to do with them. I think I may do what you done with the rope and on the top where the strands are splayed out, put one of the eyes in it. Paint the rope like a plant and gloss over the eye.
I'm telling myself that I shoul start making terrain everytime I see your videos. (I'm lazy, maybe because I have no team to play with right now). But man. Your creativity is really inspiring! About flocking from tea, I've also tried flocking )on miniature base) from grinded coffee from coffee machine at work. It looks ok but needs nice coverage of PVA because it can easly rot when it gets some moisture :x
I just discovered you. St exactly the right time. Thanks!
for some reason I have a lot of tea that I never drink so I guess I have a use for it now. this is also random but the cat is super cute. love its little bobbed tail
This terrain is so amazing. Your creativity and resourcefulness are so refreshing and much appreciated.
That truly is the best roots I've seen on any table top trees maybe try combo of the rope and other type pre made tree for above ground look. Great job!
Wow! Such an imaginative use of rope. Looks great.
Absolutely fantastic idea!!! The results are spectacular !!! Thanks for sharing man great job!!! Subbed
Very cool. The nylon rope texture works really well.
A creative and inventive idea! This is exactly the sort of crafting insight I greatly appreciate!
I had to try it out immediately! The finished project will be on your discord!
I love the idea of using this for an underdark encounter. And definitely going to use this idea as my party goes down into the depths of the underdark.
So i don't ever comment! But, that is so cool. Nicely done Sir, Nicely done
Loved this one. Lots of ideas popped into my head watching it.
Can't wait to try this out myself! Watched the video 3x so far.
I want to make these. It seems like a fun protect
Awesome video and so relaxing.
As always a great tutorial video Bard! The ideas I get from watching your videos is incredible!
Greetings from a fellow craftsman from across the world!
beautiful work as usual!
Brilliant. Simply brilliant!
Ustede señor , es un genio.Gracias por compartir su talento y saludos desde Argentina!.
Awesome rope work
Awesome idea 💡
these look great! the level of detail is very nice indeed tu suggest roots/wood fibers!
That idea of using rope to express root, is so exciting.
Can you get the same color effect if u do that with cheap acrylic instead of using citadel ?
3D Plastic Fantasy cheap acrylics are fine, or at least in my experience they are. Might chip off of metal but any type of acrylic will stick onto fabrics. And as long as the base is white it should show up ( might need a few coats to get rid of patchy spots )
@@courtneyfasnd3637 Thanks for the info I will give it a shot. Wonder if they work with transparent plastic primer before applying the paint tho.
3D Plastic Fantasy they’ll most likely work better with a primer
Poor kitty, its box was sacrificed for the video.
Kitty had it coming, all that poop-scooping and complaining about not getting more food :D
Thank you for another fantastic Video! Could you tell us what exact heavy duty surface protector you are using? Looks like very good material for crafting. Thanks
extraordinary work.
Liked the video so much
the rope turned out nice
love it!
Those rope plants can also be used for 40k and AoS terrain i will definitely have to make some
Oh nice provisional video and good marketing
The tea can be drank first, leave the teabags to dry (on a radiator) and repurpose the leaves 😸 the teabags will be nicely stained as well.
love the Michael Myers Knife.
Could you one day show one of your campiane.
You're a god damned genius
It wouldn't be a Bard's Craft video without a giant knife.
For the bulb type terrain I was thinking about putting a tea light with some clear colored plastic over it to kind of give a more mystical feel. In your opinion so I'm not making peasant level terrains, would this be good in an enchanted forest or an Underdark setting?
Yay a new video !!
hi i am a subscriber and i wonder how did you get these miniatures of characters ?? if you read this comment please reply!!
Could you please let me know where you get your boxes of insulation foam from? Having trouble finding something similar in the UK. Thanks
epic!
He said his name 7:31 :D
That dwarf at 6:50, what miniature range is it from?
Please make an ASMR video, with cutting/crafting sound
love this
What kind of foam you use when you make terrains???
What type of tree is that bark from, it's very thick.
genius! bloody rope ... of course
Do you think you could make the plants with Chinese finger traps I have 56 of those
what kind of wood do you use? and where buy it?
Please dude confirm which XPS foam you use. Bought some foam recently and it was terrible to use and so delicate. Not all foam is born equal! Lol
I'm in Sweden, is it possible to book a game with you? I would really love to play with such an amazing game master as you are.
Hmm thanks for considering that. But I don't have time for arranging more games, and I would not like to do paid games.
Смотрю твои видео нечего не понятно но очень интересно
Yes
Got to cash in on those ASMR chopping noises
What kind of trees do you get the bark from cuz the pine trees on my property don’t have good bark like yours
Big pine trees. You can see the trees in the video where I made a base for the "Armored Titan" mini
This Heavy Duty Surface Protection, can be bought on what kind of stores?
Me pueden desir como se llama el material que usa en las malloria de sus contrusiones
I can't find your Heavy Duty Surface Protector. Could you give us a brand name, please?
Can you do space Terrain plz I'm starting a miniature game called Star wars X wing
in the opening, I thought this would be terrain by 'Buffalo Bill'
it puts the paint on very thin, unless it wants the dill again
oh and a rope.
Cat!
F for the cat’s bed
Welcome to bark craft
The funghi look like those plants in oblivion
эх, я думал, что это основа под грибы Уднердарка
Hola no se si sabes español
Chopping ASMR
So better then black magic craft !!!
am i first? probably not
Yes. Yes you are
@@alidedeic8794 , huh.
@@alidedeic8794 nope; Trap Town NCS beat him to it, but It does show a lack of respect for the person that put actual effort into making and uploading the video. The least you could do is keep your comments relevant to the topic of the video, instead of this 1st or numbered or 'early' or 'notification' nonsense that has been done to death by way too many people.
