Wesker was collecting samples throughout the village castle and island. That’s why he was hasting. The Amber was the most difficult to obtain because of Sadler which is why he hired Ada. Her infiltration skills is what he needed to obtain the final sample from Sadler. Her infiltration skills allowed her to skip by most b.o.w.s. In the entire game whereas Leon being a more direct soldier ran into almost every single threat.
I understand now. He wasn't trying to cure Ada. He just rescued her.
Yes, but it's still kinda doesn't make any sense, Wesker is the Agent Smith of Resident Evil, he could've just stormed the village and whoop Saddler's ass in like 2 hours.

@@quentinhirschfeld9382 It's very likely that Umbrella was on it's hind legs, but still, they were still present. He'd do well to keep a low profile and maintain his status as "Presumed dead".
Also this is set right after the "Umbrella Chronicles, where-in he just took down Sergei and the Red queen computer, While it was simple enough for him, he could still use the rest, I think".
That being said, he also benefits greatly from no one knowing who he is nor what he wants, once your object of interest is revealed, your enemy would do all in it's power to prevent you acquiring it.
Also, while being extremely powerful, I doubt he could've actually taken saddler so easily. I know that he could take him, Leon did, so Wesker could, but emphasis on the "easy" part, besides, he gains nothing from Saddler's death aside from tying up a loose end, and it wasn't even the right time yet.
Overall, I feel he played this perfectly as he always does, he let all the characters clash and used the distraction to walk out with whatever he wished unscathed and without losses (except Ada's betrayal of him, even though he managed to side-step that with Krauser's recovered body).
Wesker isn't really mean , he is just being a Tsundere

Separate Ways deeping the lore now we want a wesker campaign rescuing Ada, setting up explosions around the island to him taking krausers body. Only to get another ending revealing wesker in disguise as the merchant before sitting on his chair..
I like this new wesker voice. This dlc is great. Ada’s voice actor got better.,
"Complete Local Saturation" I just KNEW people were gonna get a kick out of that line that's like EVERYONE and their mother's favorite line from Wesker in the older games RE5 in particular how many times has it been quoted I wager.
Capcom even KNOW that is literally everyone's favorite line from him the fact they snuck it in like that just confirms it.
Like hot take but I can give zero shits about Wesker at this point despite being dead and gone in the OG storyline people still desperately want him to come back just shows how overrated he is.
I like him in RE5 sure do I even need to elaborate on that? Lol but God people won't shut up about him yet another hot take he's not the best overall villain in the series there have been others.
But of course people much prefer Wesker and his copy paste agent smith ass I forgot (sarcasm)
Also that one ganado that drops the glasses upon death isn't the OG Separate Ways easter egg...upon beating the DLC the first time if I recall you unlock a pair of red sunglasses...as in the same red sunglasses she wears for a bit in the OG RE4 THAT is the OG separate ways easter egg.
Regardless it was nice they added new Ganado variants for the DLC.... even if it's just 2 really lol

Kinda wished we get more outfits for each character to unlock.
We do, there's 2 extra outfits for Ada, 1 for wesker and for Luis. When u complete the dlc u can unlock them
@@kommissarrex1193 you get the RPD outfit for beating all Mercenary maps on S++ with Leon.
@@kommissarrex1193you have to play mercenaries. S++ to all characters to get rpd outfit for Leon.
I think I know why he likes Wesker, he looks like Vergil.
I think they added insects but not aggressive to the U3 fight for the pusrpose of loot.

ada is so fine. her voice is a let down though
The VA wasn't completely monotone throughout the dlc like she was in the main game which was nice but yeah, I would have preffered the Ada VA from RE2 remake.

He’s the big baddy since RE1, he’s cool and always have the best outfits.
Wished they didn’t kill him in 5, without him in the background, it’s just not the same.
@@kommissarrex1193 💯 Even despite what people say about the remake version, to me, he's still amazing and I'm just happy to see him in games again, without characters merely mentioning his name.
They milked Wesker in just about everything since he died lol I know some don't want it, but it would be nice to have him not die lol like, what's the point of the remaking 4 and 5, and then ending him again? Lol Idk, seems like a waste of time. He's the best villain hands down, and I don't care what anyone says lol 😂
