Nice video! Thanks. One small suggestion. Show a closeup of the head and the three adjustment ports.

If you grab it at the base and twist it doesn’t it just unscrew the threads at the base and risk creating leaks? I thought you set the right stops by pulling the cartridge and dropping back in aligned to the correct notch?

Unless you can find a pressurized swivel joint connector then yes its likely to loosen it and create a potential leak.

I found mud has infiltrated the cap making it impossible to get the tool in the adjustment slots. So I pried the cap out, cleaned out the mud, did the adjustment (much easier to see what you are trying to do with the tool), then put the cap back on being sure to put it back in position.

This video could have been shorter with less run on sentences. Perhaps greater detail about the steps.

I recently moved into a house where the landscapers messed up the sprinklers, the landscape lighting, they did such a bad job installing fabric and mulch, and the bed edges that now I have to redo everything that they touched. It's disgraceful how these so-called businesses take advantage of women and people who don't understand how to see if they did a proper job before paying them.

Nice video - one question. If the water is off -- is there a tool that can hold up the head as the spring is very strong and hard to grip as it's quite far below the lawn surface?

I bought the key. Gonna try adjusting the heads today. Wish me luck! Also, you should reach out to someone selling the tool on Amazon. You might be able to post a link to it and make a small profit. I know the tools are pretty cheap but, hey it's worth a shot maybe.

Amazon competes directly against its own resellers, undercuts them and eventually kicks its resellers off the platform. A small business can't afford to compete head to head with a half trillion dollar company.
I've seen this happen to numerous small businesses, people ask me why I am so down on Amazon that's one very good reason right there.

So what if it starts leaking below since you unscrewed it?

I'm sorry what do you mean?

    • @Jmitchking

Jeff, the best way to set the right limit is to remove the head entirely and screw in the body all the way. I actually use pipe dope when I replace the body. This way you don't leak from below like unscrewing the body to adjust tends to do. You can then insert the head into the body with the right limit in the correct place. It's geared so you are dropping it on the best spot.
