I’ve been on that cruise ship the exact same, but I just got on On Friday to Sunday, but today we had to go home because we only stayed on the boat for three nights. It was amazing
The scratches are from when the upper bunks are closed. Even though it’s a 4 berth it can be sold as a 2 berth, therefore they would be closed flush up against the wall. Not so squishy.
Haha it was definitely different to our last cabin on the Queen Victoria 🤣 For this P&O cabin we bought the cheapest tickets through the “buy 2 get 2 free” special so we weren’t expecting anything flash 😂 We still had a great time.
@@catchyouontheroundabout No you don't, I have checked. I don't think it's worth getting on a 4 night cruise, especially if your an Aussie and it's staying in Australian waters. I went on this same cruise with a pommy company, on a ship called the Vasco Da Gama. That company made us take out insurance and wanted proof when boarding. The insurance for my elderly parents was 400 each and the ticket price was only 500 each, so nearly the price of the ticket even though the ship was not going any further than 500 km away from my parents home. I rang them and complained about this, and they basically said " To bad, no insurance, no cruise"
Thank you for showing this video. It gives us a realistic insight into what these rooms look like.
Our pleasure! Thanks for watching 😊
Wait I just remembered I saw you on my cruise! I’m glad I found your video! 😊
Great video 😊 thanks for posting gives you a great taste of what the ship is like. Also your family seem like a lot of fun
Thanks for watching!

I was the Seagull!!!
We remember you!!! That was the best costume ever 😂
Cheers for that.
It was fun prancing around a moving vessel wearing Flippers & looking thru the Nostrils of the Mask!

Thanks for watching 👍🏼
I was on the cruise on the 20th - 24th. Absolutely loved it and my two kids loved it. Wish our bunks were the way yours were.
Glad you had a good time! How were your bunks set out?
@Catch you on the roundabout 👋 they came off the wall so when you walk in you can't see the port hole. Not sure if I explained it properly
Are you sure that wasn't a crew cabin? That was the worst cabin I've
seen on any modern cruise ship!
Haha it was definitely different to our last cabin on the Queen Victoria 🤣

Thanks for Vlog. We plan to go next year In April. So excited.
Have fun!
What kind of socket do they have? Do we need to bring an adapter?
From memory, we used our American or British power adapters?! Have a fun cruise!!

Hope you enjoy it!
Just took a cruise leaving in the 24th of February. Is that the cruise you were on?
Sure was the 24th 👍
I also saw myself in the video 😂
Haha that's great! Glad you found our video! We hope you enjoyed the cruise. You may see yourself in episode 2, 3 and 4!
Can u take your own bottled water on the ship
Same as any ship, you can take a limited amount. This ship the amount is 12 cans per room, so I suppose that means 12 bottles of water per room
You can also bring your own drink bottles and fill them up from taps around the ship. The water is completely safe to drink.
Do unhave to have insurance on the cruise
We did get insurance 😊
