Woow another great one, again 100% agree essenza was the only one worth owning... Even back in the days I was more in Issey Miyake group :) But Essenza was always by far my favorite
Love this perfume, this one gets shitted on quite a lot due to the other flankers eg Profumo, Essenza or Profondo... But In my eyes, or should I say, from my nose it smells the best in the line. Has the perfect blend of performance, versatility and quality. Love it.
At this point for me it's the king that is available. Essenza does win but it's long gone now so this has the crown but I'll be sniffing some more ADG's in the next months.
@@robes08 It lacks the clean vetiver of the EDP, and therefore may come across a little 'blue,' but I think it's probably the best executed true aquatic I have smelled from a designer house.
Alberto made a really good Leather scent, Phillip Plein No Limits. I think you'd definitely appreciate it because it has unique Niche quality for a cheap scent. I know the bottle is goofy, but the scent is definitely not.
It def. has a goofy bottle, Morillas has an excellent leather note in his back pocket as he has utilized it several times with different brands and it is solid so I believe you on that one.
im not gonna lie, i like profumo better and get more minerality with it lol. i feel like if you think about the minerals in oud mineral (kinda how i personally judge "mineral") profumo has more. i dont get patchouli whatsoever as well in profumo. but theyre all collecting dust at this point anyway with me so it doesnt matter. another good video man!
i will say i havent smelled the OG in many years but when i smelled the edp in the store i thought it reminded me of the original alot, and i bought it
I live in the Okanagan Valley. -a very hot valley. I try to keep my freshies *cheap* (because they're freshies) & *likeable* (more for others than myself). I trust your judgement, so can you tell me a few aquatics you find acceptable? I'm curious.
I'll be honest if you are wearing fragrance for others you don't need me or any reviewer to give you suggestions. Just buy the top selling fragrance on the shelf.
@@robes08 no. Not fragrance, per se for others. -just freshies. I have frags that are challenging to others that I love (oud/rose bombs for example, strange to Western noses). Jeez Robes, do I have to distinguish myself from the plebs just to get a simple answer from you about your favorite aquatics? 😄
@@_Solaris I'm not a pleb suggestor lol. Best aquatic on the market is Sel Marin by Heeley. It's not designer but you pay a little more and you have the best in the game. As for designers the only one that really stood out and was a top seller would be Bvlgari Aqva Pour Homme (the original) but it's no compliment getter.
@@robes08 I'll check out the Sel Marin👍 I had Aqva Marine at one time. It actually got a few likes here & there. I think people were pleasantly intrigued by the somewhat photo-realistic oceanside and wondered if I'd recently fallen off a pier and couldn't be arsed to change my clothes (I'm an oversprayer 🙂). ...if I recall, the Aqva line has been discontinued but still pops up at discounters.
the bvlgari aquamarine is a suberb "aquatic" scent aswel. I find ACDG EDP to be a better built version of the OG, i like it a lot more than the other flankers.
I love the OG, I remember the first time I smelled it in 1996, woow! it was so different to everything I used to wear back then, until they watered it down to the point that it lasted for 20 minutes on my skin. When Essenza was released I fell in love again wit the DNA and then they discontinued it 🤦♂ I had high hopes for Profumo, I tried it, and... meh, I felt exactly the same as you. Then I tried L'Eay D'Issey a much better fragrance than Acqua Di Gio IMO and it cured the itch I had for an Alternative to AdG, I discover in 2013, I think that was when I fell in love again with fragrances, the way it changes at every stage at least on my skin is magic, sadly the new formulation is not as good. I like Armani as a brand, used to love Armani Mania and White, sadly both discontinued, this one sounds great but I have Essenza, no need for more Armanis right now. Thanks for the Samplin' Marc!!!
I have the ADG special edition and I love it. Edp is the second scent of this series that I like very much. Unfortunately, the latest perfume version is a very mediocre scent.
Essenza is my favorite of this line, but this one is right up there.
Truth
I tried them all, and the classic EDT is the best smelling for my nose. I only own that one now, I sold all including the Essenza.
man I love that Essenza
Sounds fantastic. It’s heating up here in Perth.
happy to help out the other parts of the world with freshie reviews during our fall and winter season.
As always - spot on review. Well done!
Thank you kindly!

At the moment this one is worthy owning as well, I look forward to getting my bottle.
absolutely this one points in right direction@@robes08

ADG Profondo is my favorite of the recent ADG releases; the mineral nature is great and stronger than that found in the EDP and Parfum.
I really need to get my nose on that one, seems like the big winner.

Thanks!
Great video and I enjoyed it and I like this fragrance and I give it a 9 out of 10 in my opinion and have a blessed day
Thanks for watching!

No problem!

I prefer the original Aqva from Bvlgari against the marine it was so much deeper and better made.
@@robes08 mhm never tried it..☺️
I think AdG EDP is a great office scent.
100%

Love reading your comments, always a story behind some of my reviews and love to see your journey through the comments.
Thank you 🙏🏻 I talk too much 😬😆
If marc says, it's good! It's good !!!!!
oh it's good!

I do want to sniff the new one but I hear it's based on profumo which was terrible.
Girls love ADG, sadly I cant stand it on myself, hate those sea notes.
Same I hate aquatics with a passion but this is decent.
If you haven't tried Profondo, it has the most mineral type feeling of the entire line. It's excellent.
Funny I just blind bought a bunch and I skipped that one but I did get the flanker Profundo Lights.
Profumo was an awful fragrance I agree. IMO it was straight garbage. Hyped for no good reason. The new Parfum is abysmal. This, ok.
Thanks for sharing, I figured the parfum would be bad as I heard it's close to profumo.
I only like Profondo and Absolu, the rest of the line means nothing to me. I also think Profumo is bad and would never wear that stuff.
I do have Absolu to unbox, looking forward to it after this.
Call me old fashioned, but i only have time for the EDT.
I hear ya but the essenza was a gem 💎. Better than the edt perhaps not in sales but she was gorgeous.
