When you look at the origins of the labour party and what it stood for then Jeremy Corbyn has those qualities in spades. The labour party lost it's way a long long time ago. Corbyn is the only candidate I've seen in years who is qualified to lead such a party. We need people who can shake up the political agenda laid out in front of us. We need radical discourse and radical change otherwise we will continue to fall.
Ikem Nzeribe I know but, hey, I'm an amateur doing this in my spare time and for no fee. if you want to produce some graphics for me, I'd be delighted. :))
I Am Incorrigible I hope I haven't come across the wrong way. You are brilliant, mate! I love what you do and if you'd be up for collaborating, yes - I would like to contribute ;-)
NP and thank you for your very kind words. I took your comment in good grace and it was perfectly reasonable. I'm very open to collaboration if you have any good ideas or, as I mentioned can help with graphics etc.
no its just the mould at Tony Blairs automaton factory wasnt properly maintain on the day of casting, you can blame the workfare staff but its ok, I hear they got sanctioned and starved to death for it now.
@@hazza1912 For everyone, for hope, for the future of the planet. Better than the same old same old tyranny of capitalism, consumerism and greed, that ultimately offer nothing but destruction.
@Oliver O'Brien Mores the pity. I find it sad that people like you relish the inequality and cruelty of our current situation. I have no choice but to feel empathy for those struggling - it's a shame you don't feel the same.
I like Corbyn, and want to see him in control of the British government. That said, I won't vote for him as it's slightly irritating that he celebrates the anniversary of Jamaican independence while disagreeing with the concept of Scotland becoming independent.
eh? it's a different ball park. Jamaica was under aggressive imperialist control, nowhere near as bad as the scotland situation. Also, labour desperately need scotland back.
Ordinary people really want fairness!, and that's fairness to everyone. I was not a believer in the beginning and for the first time in my life I couldn't vote last time, there was simply no one I believed in. Politician's have lost what real people want, they are so out of touch with the common man it's time for someone real
I'm not a fan of Corbyn, but I had to laugh when I saw Liz Kendall and the presenter say "...her more right-wing policies don't draw such huge crowds. She's urging her supporters..." and then a kid and his mother...
I'd rather see Corbyn's party back in power as part of an SNP-Lab coalition than Scotland going back to back to Labour. That way we have a best of both world's scenario for Sotland: an end to Tory rule AND a strong voice for Scotland. We can do this. Vote Labour in England and SNP in Scotland to end Tory rule!
Why is Burnham wearing eye makeup? We can still tell who he is when he wipes it off at night and slinks into his boa, light pastels and fluffy slippers.
People who think that it would be a good idea for the UK to get rid of its nuclear deterrent during these difficult and unstable times have a very hazy grasp on reality. I'm sure some of our enemies would be thrilled to bits though. It would make their job a lot easier.
+PianoDreams Yeah you're right, if we get rid of our nuclear weapons, we can expect to wake up to Russian military occupation the next morning. They'll just invade us! Like how they've invaded all those other western European countries without nuclear weapons recently! /sarcasm
Looking at the platform I don't see Dugdale, Murphy, Baillie, Rowley, Marra, Gray etc etc That's why Jeremy hasn't got a hope in Scotland, there are people in the wings waiting to destroy him if he becomes leader.
Terris Heremon If you had asked me that 3 or 4 years ago, then as a life long Labour voter, I would have said that if Scotland achieved self government then Labour would be the ruling party. At that time I never imagined for a moment that the Labour party would side with the Tories and oppose Scottish self government. The fact that they did meant that at the recent election I didn't vote Labour for the first time since 1967. Judging by the fact that they lost 40 seats shows I wasn't the only one. Labour have blown it in Scotland as far as I am concerned.
NSL amen to that you know why the tories are pushing so hard for him to be leader? Because they have alot of dirt on him. Sadly i wouldn't be surprised if it turns out he has links to peado's (hell of alot of child abuse gone on in his constituency) or adjem chroudary or something . The tories they won't release this when he becomes leader they will wait until 10 days before the election and then boom another load of dirt 5 days before election and the final blow 24 hours before the election . If they can convince the British ed milliband is unelectable then corbyn will be like shooting fish in a barrel. Not to mention his age he doesn't look like the type of guy who will live into his mid 70s, he will be 71 in 2020.
David Pain I think it boils down to whether you support Neo-liberal capitalism or democratic socialism. Do you want to be governed by psychopathic corporate entities, or do you actually want a choice on how you care about and support others. Personally I believe they've got nothing on Corybn and he knows it.
Terris Heremon i support the NHS and believe in support for those less fortunate than myself. However i don't support uncontrolled immigration . The reason why so many of the local services are buckling is due to the growth of population its supply and demand. The rich benefit the most from this as there is a lot of people fighting for fewer jobs then they can offer shitty pay, less hours and zero hour contracts . In a true socialist country everyone has a job and an important one and the pay is similar and society ticks over like a well oiled clock . Of course immigration is beneficial but only a couple of thousand a year not millions over the space of a few years. Of course cuts also apart of the problem too. Labour has lost alot of votes to ukip in northern parts of england and wales , they lost alot of votes to the greens and of course the snp . It also needs to win back votes from the tories. No person who voted UKIP or tory in 2015 will vote for corbyn and about 75% of the SNP probably won't either so were is the majority coming from? He will pick up communist party and green party votes but lib dems are also on the comeback trail too so might they take votes back off labour . The left should be hoping UKIP can cannibalise the tory vote the way other leftist parties done to labour and tactical voting for UKIP in tory seats might cost them a handful of seats. If UKIP fail to grow and the greens ,snp and lib dems grow we will be looking at a tory govt for a very long time something similar happened in japan and the right wing party there was in power for over 50 years.

He is not Blair, he is not the milliband that we forced to vote on, he could be the peoples choice
"The SNP get a little nervous..." According to whom? Complete assertion.

Properly Geocities-era web graphics there, mate. Feels like '94! Thanks for making me feel young again.

he has got my vote
I've cried at Corbyn speeches, I'll profess. Good job this isn't my personal account so it's not actually a sign of courage at all.
The SNP are placeholders. They are no better than new labour, probably worse.

armin beh The eternal unanswered question
honestly it looks like he was doesn't it?
no, just mascara.
no its just the mould at Tony Blairs automaton factory wasnt properly maintain on the day of casting, you can blame the workfare staff but its ok, I hear they got sanctioned and starved to death for it now.

Disagree with a lot of his ultra-left foreign policy, but when he talks about societal equality he is bang on. Go Jezza!

Wonderful to see the Party as grown as it is.

Burnhams eye make up doesn't match his alcoholics red nose.
How about getting rid of nuclear power stations?
That ended well for comrade corbyn didn't it? 🤣🤣🤣
Happy days.
