I worked at Walmart for the longest time and the amount of times people would ask me for something that was very clearly on the sign above the isle would shock you. Most people cannot in fact, look up.
Hell, Ninjas used to stake their very lives on the fact that most people never notice anything above a 45* angle.

When it comes to BCs and corruptors, the zerg generally matches the terran in gas commitment. So each BC you build lets the zerg get 3 more corruptors. When the terran commits to a lot of BCs, the zerg can commit to enough corruptors to one shot a BC. If the zerg overcommits to corruptors, terran kills them on the ground.
but then they can start peeing on your critical buildings which you don't want to even deal with, furthermore suddenly you need to micro the medivacs too, at least much more than before

Ghosts did get nerfed last patch, the snipe ability now is canceled if a unit runs away
It’s so imba that terran can bunker zerg then start battlecruisers at around 4 min, but imagine zerg doing any kind of early agression and starting broodlords at 4 min
The fastest possiable broodlord rush is like by the 8 minute mark. Thats if you really try to get them out fast as possible. It just takes so much tech.
The only thing I think is broken about the bc is you can fly them in yamato corruptors which cost a lot and tp away and take zero damage and scan and kill creep while simultaneously protecting yourself against infestors

@Name-ru1kt Your race has been broken since BW quit crying about Terrans lol. Only race that has any right to cry about being weak is Toss (Toss been getting gutted since the end of Hots) also why is it always Zergs complaining about balance?
@@gokublack8342 Yeah, put queens against bio ball or agains a 10 hellion runby that you will see if it effective
@guivolp Have you seen what these pros can do? Spam transfusion and Spam ling/Bane rip bio. Also being able to build spores without Evo is also kind of bs Toss have to build forge to get cannons and Terran has to build Engi Bay. All those things combined make it alot harder to kill Zergs early and since these pros are macro gods once they can get on 4 base it's really hard to stop them. Zerg was balanced around Queens being in more limited numbers so when pros (There was one that popularized mass Queens but I forget his name) started massing them it made Zerg absurdly broken at that level.
Back in the days of WOL and early HOTS we killed Zergs by not ever allowing them to get to late game. Idra was a really good example of how broken Zerg could be if allowed to macro and pros realized that while he had god level macro he couldn't handle early game pressure/cheese/all ins etc kind of like players I've encountered in the current meta. It used to be widely accepted that letting a zerg macro is pretty much a loss (Maybe it still is idk) but because of Zergs massing Queens they get to be really safe and spread creep all over the map.
Fun fact about the Spore crawler thing it used to require Evo chamber but that requirement got removed because Zergs were crying about DT Rush and air aggro. On a different subject as a player from the OG 2010-2011(Season 1 days) the current macro meta makes me sick 😂 yall would never have survived that hell playing the way yall do now xD (except Zerg because Massing Queens who knew massing hero units was strong amirite) Edit: Queens beat Hellions btw (not nessecarilly Hellbats)
It's kind of characteristic for sc 2 as a game that one of the strongest cheeses, 3-rax marine bunker rush is almost always an auto-win vs. zerg unless they scout it early. If zerg plays normally, they have very very little chance of winning the game. All the while this is no harder than stutter-stepping a few marines - and even if you lose your first 3, you have chances the zerg lost so many drones fighting you you're still ahead.
But T is crying how weak their race is, of course, with no-brain thors and BC as lategame units.

Look, after watching the whole game and seeing how both teams played, what I can say about the terrans, well, in general about the whole starcraft game, and this is just my humble opinion, I love battlecruisers 😃
I don't mind dark games, they are always fun to watch!

i think dark plays vs his opponents more like - 'you do this, well then i do that' - and i feel like he has a very deep understanding for that. i knows where and when it matter so be behind and when it does not matter so much. he knows when to drone and about how much and when to build army and how much. and i think having his mind focused on that is much better than thinking about the perfect way to be 100% efficient, like oh shiit, here is a drone too many on that base and here is one too few. his mind is 100% on what is actually important. surviving, or being able to kill, or dealing damage with which he knows he can kill the enemy in 8 minutes and then he will play towards that, or 'in 4 minutes i have infestors out, i can try to kill/deal damage now, and even if it goes wrong there is a good chance i can defend efficiently in choke points and be fine' etc., also taking in consideration which map he plays on. i feel like europeans are maybe better at optimizing, so they can play with slightly more units, but that for they are worse at the game itself. but more stuff beats less stuff. unless it doesnt, because your bio just got fungled and 8 banes role towards you. don't know, i feel like dark is that kind of guy who thinks to himself that it is better to focus on the more important stuff, not the small things.

@@housemana ehm no, a lot of other zerg players don't. a lot of zerg players specialize in one area of play. some use a lot less spellcasters and focus purely on estimating their mass very well (thinking of solar rn), serral plays openers about as perfectly and machinelike as posibile (at least used to) and is really good, maybe the best with vipers, reynor has insane ling control, etc. so please my dear friend shut the f up.
when you have a very limited pool of really good players you end up seeing the same players very often.

It seems like he was doing ok-ish, even though Zerg was outmining him, and then all of a sudden he just tapped out.
Dark has got to be the most entertaining pro player, and Gumiho may well be #2
It seems like most of gumi's victories were mainly because of cheese. I like Gumi's builds, very unconventional but that last game, he really should have sent those banshees home. That's like the most logical thing to do but he is always trying to steal a victory in the most unconventional way. Poor choice.

I think to counter balance Battlecruiser teleport into no vision fog. Carriers should be able to be warped in near pylon in Terran's base. Ultralisk should get borrowed charge, so it can tunnel under walls, oh and last but not least broodlords should fit in nydus
The ABSOLUTE last thing Starcraft needs right now is Terran nerfs and Zerg buffs. Terran players are the only reason we aren't seeing nothing but ZvZ finals like we were a couple of years ago.
Battlecruisers are a pinnacle unit. They are expensive to build and take forever to produce. They have a lot of skill expression in their use. They are one of the very few perfectly balanced units in the game right now.

@@Josh-99 Battle cruisers need a nerf, no unit should be able to magically teleport across the map without vision and appear in your mineral line, it's the stupidest mechanic ive ever seen. They can buff the BC in another way or other units. How would you like it if the carrier or the ultralisk just appear in your mineral line without warning.
@@RMJ1984 Well, carriers are pretty low on skill expression and are frankly pretty pitiful pinnacle units, and while the ability to teleport would be a welcome change, it wouldn't fix the core problems that the unit has, nor would it address the fact that the Protoss race in general has late-game units that are slow and immobile.
Ultralisks are not pinnacle units; they are designed to counter very specific strategies. Zerg already has pinnacle units that can attack in asymmetric ways, such as Brood Lords and Lurkers. Also, they don't have to commit huge amounts of resources and supply to trying to backdoor a base; they can just build a Nydus Worm.
Also, note that Battlecruisers are insanely expensive, costing 400/300/6 and taking more than a minute each to build. I believe they are the single most expensive unit in the game other than the severely limited Mothership (of which you can only have one). Having some powerful advantages makes sense for that level of investment.

I feel like they designed all the other Zerg stuff first. Then looked at what was missing / underpowered and then slapped it all into one unit - the queen.

Dark games are really cool. I however am not a fan of gumiho. His play is way too one dimensional. Yes he has a variety of builds, but he is so aggressive and has no off switch. He is a very skilled player, but refuses to round out his play. Dark is aggresive but at least is more rounded.

6:38 its crappy design, so insane amount of micro needed to optimize queen and without zero chance. its dumb
6:55 ahh , you are talking as if zerg would stand a chance in hell without creep, also queens are calc like svc's basically just with 10 times the micro needed..
hatch+ should auto spread creep, creep should be needed to be cleared per square not one tumor for the entire screen, queen should auto hell like campaign, so should sentry recharge shield instead of attack.
inject should be speed up the more hp a hatch+ has and queen should auto heal it to speed up the larvae production.
worms should obv be functioning as auto pathways which zerg units would use automatically when the pathing was faster.
same for warp prism, is a unit gets a faster path by it gathering it and putting it down it should do so automatically, maybe only in deployed stated? so you could deploy them as cliff or door teleporters which ground units would automatically utilize to get pass the wall and over the cliffs^^
this like that to make everything feel and look cooler and give more control to the players to do the cool stuff, instead off 400 apm used to just get your basics to run -.-
