Honestly Mark needs to learn how the items work. He gets hit so many times by red shells despite having defense for it. I think that’s part of why they think red shells are so much more powerful in this game. They don’t seem to understand that the boomerang, boom box, fireballs, bombs, bananas, and shells can block red shells and green shells

Mark you know there’s a time trial mode. Good way to get a feel of all the tracks. What’s killing you is the drifting and unnecessarily spamming items. Example, pay attention to the courses, every course has at least one good short cut that shaves off some time, but most of the you’ll need a mushroom to benefit from it because use there is grass or something similar that’ll slow you down defeating the whole purpose.

His item use is what sells him the most. Honestly he might have won the whole set. I don't know how many times he had the best defensive item in 1st only to throw it away.
