I am a great Western Movie person . I am 78 years old and still enjoy a good old fashioned movie with a clean plot . Not the vulgar stuff people are forced to watch.
    Keep up the good work.

The night scenes in this movie were so dark that I couldn't tell what was going on. I find it that way often in old movies. But I enjoyed listening to it!

Tony Martin an unlikely western cowboy. His singing career started in his grammar school glee club. Was a popular crooner during the big band era and had a bunch of songs that made the hit parade.
Peggy Castle was one of the prettiest actresses in the 🎬 movies

LOL! I love the story about arrows. The truth is, they're feathered to cause it to spin for stability, just like a bullet, not "fly horizontal" to go through a ribcage. But hey, it was a clever myth

This was a great Western, and one I had not seen before, so I enjoyed it even more! I've been a huge Western fan since I was a child, so I've watched most Westerns many times, including all the great old B Westerns. But I hate almost all of the Westerns made after the 1950's with a few exceptions. I especially dislike the gory, violent, dirty, spaghetti Westerns that came in during the 1960's and 1970's. Thank you for posting a good Western, and in color, that I had not seen before.

It was always noticable to me, 99% of all the Western Movies overlook the actors having an era hairstyle. It's particularly noticable in the 1940's, 50's, 69's, due to the women's hairstyles having been so "styled, fixed, and/or bleached".
Maybe it's just me, but the (Perms, rollers, teasing, hairspray, are styles), are really easy to overcome in the "Make-up Department".
In the era, the 1800's, shampoo had yet to be commonly available. They used homemade Soap with natural herbs added, and eggs, milk, honey, oils like Olive Oul, seed oils, and animal fats, etc, to mousturize and soften the hair and skin.
Natural hair, combed and tied back with a string, strips of rawhide, if women had the access and money, ribbons or pieces of cloth f9lded and sewn, were used to enhance their appearance, but in the Country, West, or on the Frontier, they used what was available. Often cloth used like a turban or scarf and a hat, would be common. Hair pins made from wood were common.
Men had simple haircuts, the top of the head hair would largely be as long as their hair cut at the neckline area. This and the limiteed or lack of hair products is why photos of the Men in uniform/Civil War era, overwhelmingly looked unruly, or as if they needed a "cut and comb" was common, to our observation.
Often, longer hair was easier to manage, a string of rawhide and hat kept their hair out of their face. Various types of oils and grease, or egg whites and water acted as a styling product.
Anthripilogists veeified this thriugh physical remains mummified in peat bogs, of Ireland and England.
At any rate, it just seems an effort to replicate a simple hairstyle would be reasonably easy to accomplish. It certainly would make for a far more authentic appearance.
In spite of my personal OCD traits, I still enjoy the older Westerns. The most desirable of all Westerns, to my taste, largely having been those of the lare 1940', 50's, and 1960's to about 1966. Particularly those Directed by John Ford. Most 9ften with John Wayne, like "McClintock", "The Horse Soldiers", "Rio Grande", "The Searchers, "Rio Bravo" with John Wayne and Dean Martin. Then there's others like: "Duel in Diablo", "The Glory Guys", "The Magnificent Seven",and earlier, "The Caribou Trail " starring Randolph Scott, "Ride the Man Down" starring Ella Raines, and "The Desperados " starring Randolph Scott and Glenn Ford .
These movies truly top my list of all time favorites.
I wonder if they ever imagined that some 50 - 70 years later, so many would be watching, enjoying, and appreciating, their creative works.

At least this is better than some of the films I’ve watched recently, lots of garbage out there I’d never take my kids to, too much sexual overtones and too much lewd language which doesn’t really make the film any better, only detracts from the quality of the story itself. But….I guess that’s the whole problem today…..quality of films has gone poooof like the internet when it goes down or crashes, lost in limbo….🤔😢😩🤣

Why do westerns have to have cheesy songs to introduce them or worse still, in the middle of them. They add nothing to the story, in fact they detract from it. Luckily I can skip them on RUclips but they must have been unbearable at the movies where you had to sit through them.
