They are not aggressive because they do not need to be. He supplies all their needs (including affection, free-play, open space, and security) in return they are content in his presence.

You guys are absolutely amazing to watch with the chimps!! When she gave one chimp a shower and brushed his teeth and rubbed his hands, feet and face down with lotion and put him in his big nice comfy bed surrounded with his pillows, and they relaxed watching tv together!!! I almost cried!!😭
He is so much like a little boy, and so well behaved and you can see his graditude and love for her all over his face and in his eyes!! It just amazes me that you guys aren't fearful of being attacked. I'm a big scaried cat!! 😆
