I had an observation I thought you would like to know about. I watched the episode "Hostage" here on You Tube and noticed that according to the run time it was not cut-49.11. It did not appear to come from TVLand as it did not appear in the picture as it usually does when they do. Just curious if it is out there on DVD and I wasn't aware of it. That is one episode for the books. It was horrific and touching and the best proof of Matt and Kitty's love for each other that could have been done.

Nope, they couldn't write that into any script, because his second wife was jealous of Amanda Blake . She even contacted them and didn't want any intimate scenes. Amanda had it all, and the wife didn't.
@@TheMicloMachine actually it was James Arness 1st wife Virginia that did not like the scenes with Amanda Blake, it created problems in his marriage. I noticed in shows from 1961 to 1963 he was cordial to Kitty, he married his 2nd wife Janet in 1978 after Amanda left the show, I think his second wife was a fan of Amanda Blake.
could you please tell me what 43 to 51 is from what show. also what149 was also from? is there an episode where matt and kitty are in a basement together ? please and thanks
43 to 51 is Texas Cowboys. 1:49 (1:46-1:50) is 'Til Death Do Us. I can't think of an episode where M and K are in a basement although the LB storeroom might be considered a basement--lots of barrels and bottles around. It's very prominent in A Man a Day, Little Girl and several others. Of course, I do not claim to know all 635 episodes. ;-) np
