Its been 36 years since Malgudi Days, we still remember it. This series too comes with the same simplicity & impact. Panchayat is going to leave a mark on our memories for long long time & it will be a big benchmark for the modern day storytelling of developing India. The series is a breath of fresh air & a chance to see all the great actors who were not given the main stage for so long & we were deprived as viewers. Great work guys keep it up & so much looking forward to the next season.👍

When i first time watched the season 1 - I was suggesting it to all the people i know- they laughed at me saying its boring.

One shows the simple life of a village and another shows simple life and daily life problems of a lower middle class family

Gullak and panchayat seasons are gems
To be frank, the frequent acidic inter-family bickering in gullak ceased to be entertaining after a couple of episodes. I liked Panchayat better. 🙂

Binge watched it last week. What a beautiful show. During every episode I was sometimes laughing, sometimes feeling sad, sometimes weeping but engaged all the time. I felt like I am living in Fulera. Can’t wait for season 3. In love with Panchayat.

It was very sweet and simple story with lots of message , great story ,great actors everything in this series was so relatable. This actually makes us believe that when a urban boy goes to a rural area he will face problem like this only. M from a village and my parents are retd. govt. teachers...so i hv closely seen both the village life and how govt things work...that's why i can say that this series is an excellent portrayal of reality and simple life in rural areas....Thanks a lot whole team of Panchayat and Amazon Prime.

What a series. Makes you want to live there in the village amongst these characters and witness their lives yourself. Best part is the lack of judgment on any of their choices or actions. Travesty that brilliant gems like these in Indian television are few and far between.

I watching every episode double time in a day - first in office with boss and colleagues in lunch time and then home in my smartphone. This series is pure natural beauty and you never get bored with watching it. There is nothing fake, No overacting like bollywood so called actors and actresses..

The trauma season 2 ending gave me is unbearable.I literally didn’t slept that night after watching final episode.I was just in trauma,what just happened.why they ended it like this.I just felt like I lost someone from my loved ones.
Thing is incidents in series are relatable to anyone who has seen village life..it's not like fake Bollywood village
