I just started learning procreate a few weeks ago, found your tutorials and fell in love. 💕 I can't wait to try this. You're such a good teacher. I just got the retro signs class the first and second one and even tho I am just learning digital art, I can easily follow your lessons. Thank you! 💜
Hi Aurelie, I've been admiring your work on Instagram for a while now, and I was so happy, when I saw this tutorial 🥰 I'm so slow and there were parts I had to watch more than once, but I'm really satisfied how it turned out😊
Regarding what you were saying about creating a stroke and Procreate hopefully implementing that feature in the future - have you ever tried the duplicate>gaussian blur>automatic selection>invert, then duplicate trick in order to achieve a stroke? I find this works so well after I've gone back and cleaned it up/perfected it since it can come out a bit pixelated sometimes using that method. But I'm way too much of a perfectionist to try to do it by hand if it's a letter that doesn't have straight lines only :(
I've tried this technique before, but it always looks pixelated. It takes more time to clean up the stroke, which ends up being slower than just drawing it by hand. Personally, I find it quicker and more efficient to draw the stroke myself 😅
Oh you’re so brilliant..one of my most fav lettering artist…your online courses for Indian audience is a bit expensive but this free tutorial really helps..thank you so much
Can't wait to try this! Thank you for more amazing content, Aurelie!! I absolutely love these single letter tutorials. They are a nice break between more complex tutorials and courses. That would be awesome to see more in the future :)
omg! thank you for explaining the mask tool. I've seen many people use it but your explanation CLICKED!
Glad it was helpful! 💜
