He's Brazilian 🇧🇷
He only cost £40 million
And we think he's fucking brilliant
He's Joelinton 🖤 ⚪ 🖤 ⚪
As a toon fan i couldn't be prouder ti see him bossing it in the brazil team after all the hard work he has done . Hes oon his way to becoming a newcastle United legend ❤🖤 ⚪🖤 ⚪
There was a game near the end of the season, might have been Everton. We were winning, it was late on in the game, but this man was still chasing 20/80 balls, challenging and winning them. He's got power, pride and desire to keep doing better now, and we love him for it.
i concur
A couple of clarifications:
2:26 Mike Ashley was of course the owner, not the chatinnstilling
6:50 Eddie Howe’s first game in charge was actually the 3-3 draw gainst Brentford 10 days earlier. He watched it from his hotel room due to covid
I can honestly say I have never loved a football player as much as I love Joelinton. It just makes me happy to watch him play, especially knowing how much effort he’s put in to get to where he is. Vamos Joelinton!! 🖤🤍
Crazy that Joelinton spent most of his life playing in the incorrect position, and only changed by complete chance. He’s an absolute beast in midfield
Howe masterclass not chance
What a great video. Not just on the player, but motivational for us regular folks to never give up on being the best version of ourselves
💪
Good things happen to good people, and Jeolinton is a gem. HWTL
He's my favorite player in EPL, he's the definition of a beast
What a fantastically well researched video.... as Newcastle fan I always see videos about Newcastle and think to myself these people don't know what they're talking about.... but this was brilliant
It’s not that well researched. They refer to Ashley as the “chairman” and talk about Bruce approving the transfer like he had any say in the matter.
@@badofcheese yeah most people who don't get corporate governance probably think chairman means the person who is at the head of the club so you can let that slide. Rafa was adamant that Rondon who had done fairly well was a third of the price, the rest could have been used to strengthen the squad. He knew Joelinton was not a striker. Clueless yes man Bruce didn't seem to give any push back at all so I guess you could say he allowed it to go through.
Most foreigners who are not newcastle fans probably have no idea how terribly Ashley ran the club. The fact that this channel had a decent idea was impressive
i remember when he played at Rapid Wien, he was class 💚💚
Proud he's in the stripes
Excellent Video. Joelinton is Geordie. 100% my favourite player at the Toon. So underrated.
Joel always puts in a shift, even in bad games for us, you don’t notice it as much on the telly as you do at games, I want this team to win anything just do these players can go down as club legends
Joelinton is a hell of a player.
Mike Ashley had nothing to do with the signing of Joelinton decision. Steven Nickson, had to go to great lengths to persuade Lambias to sign him with the clubs money.
He's Brazilian, he only cost 40 million,
We think he fucking brilliant, he's
Joelinton 🎶🎵
From the ashes rose a Phoenix and its name was Joelinton. Already a cult hero and with the potential to become legendary.
Class video mate keep it up
Big joe he’s a power house under Eddie Howe
brilliant watch, clearly a lot of effort has gone into this ❤
I remember his first few games especially a pre season friendly at Hibs where he done everything but score even missed a couple of sitters and I said to my friend who is this clown but hats off to the lad he's worked his socks off to improve his game along with great work with Eddie and his coaching staff now in my opinion he is one of the best midfielder s in the premiership if not Europe well done again kidda
great video
I think everything just clicked for him at the perfect time. His hard work and determination plus Eddies arrival and change of system was meant to be.
Bruce destroys players he’s never been a striker like Trent midfield is his best position I love big Joe so happy for him
Good video that man 🐜
To be fair the entire squad played like complete garbage under Steve Bruce.
Was at that Norwich game when Clark was sent off. Big Joe was a machine that day, couldn't believe what I was seeing. Brilliant turnaround for him.
I truly believe Mike Ashley's thought process was that after not spending much for years, the 40m would either prove to be a good deal and we get a great player or he can use it to prove he shouldn't spend a lot on transfers. Win-Win for him
Joe Linton has a very domineering nickname among Chinese fans, ”Qiao Si ye”。The title "Ye" has a very subtle implication in China. It is a title that combines adoration, respect, and love that cannot be expressed in words.
That's so cool! Thanks for sharing :D
I can't hep thinking that there was some money under the table in this deal that went to Ashley hence the high sales price. Further, he wasn't helped by playing out of position in a struggling side.
All of that said, I don't believe he ever griped to the media and he just did his best.
The way everything has worked out for him since Eddie took over, I couldn't be more thrilled. He has turned into a monster and one whom the fans love because of everything he has gone through. My favorite moment from him was him running the length of the field away at Brentford to celebrate in front of the fans. I hope he stays with us until he retires. HTL.
Lovely use of the Tino Asprilla tube at the end
Big Joe ❤
It's Jo-el-in-ton, not Joe Linton!
Not in England it's not 🤣
One point to remember from this is as much as Ashley made poor decisions, he will have had nothing to do with signing players. That will have been Lee Charnleys decision.
Or maybe it had something to do with Sports Direct implementing SAP at the time which is a multimillion pound commitmrment and would you believe it Hoffenheims owner is one 0f its creators. Odd why Ashley suddenly wanted to overspend (something he is definitely not known for) on a relatively unknown Brazilian even after Rafa said no
Just shows how crap of a manager Bruce is, Eddie has transformed Big Joe into a Top midfielder and massive credit to Joelinton for his dedication to his new role 👍
Your title is harsh man! He was never a zero just misused
Norwich wasn’t Howe’s first game
Myself and my son always seen the talent...lost a fortune on first scorer 😂😂
We ❤ big joe! HWTL 🖤🤍
1 of the few times I say well played to Ashley. Benitez didn't fancy him, Ashley did. Now Im sure Ashley thought he would be a World Class forward and it was Howe who turned him into the beast of a CM that he is today, but still without Ashley persisting we wouldn't have him. Just threw up a little giving Ashley credit. Thanks Internet
Mike Ashley wasn't out chairman he was owner & Eddie Howes first game wasn't Norwich. Basic info don't know how you could get that wrong
Sorry about that mate, I’m aware and will pin a comment.
@@wildtalesofsport fair play 👍
Heeeess Brazilian
He only cost £40million
