Had a beech stock version for one well over 25 yrs. incredibly accurate. Is a beautiful piece, and still looks good. Have tried and bought many others but still my go-to. Has been a great buy.
Just getting back into shooting after about 30 years off! Last gun I had was AA TX200 SR… and I’m picking up my .177 Pro Sport today 😊 Can’t wait!! Great guns, great review.
Just bought the TX 200 with the walnut stock. I also have the HW97KT. Both are brilliantly accurate Springers. But so far, the AA TX200 just edges it, for me, but they are that close, it really depends on the day. The pro sport is a beautiful rifle too. 😊
I have both also. I agree both brilliant, but the Tx is just better. There is nothing on the 97 that you would want on the TX. Had a Pro sport in the nineties, must have been the only one with a cocking lever that rattled, drove me mad. Make a lovely woomph when you close the lever.
Absolute stunning rifle you have. You also must have a nice collection watching your RUclips channel. Wow. I once had one (this AA) .....But as € was tight, I sold it. This was before the €uro existed. Have had a lot (!) of pcp's. Sold them all. But after all the years I now have 2 pcp's (enough for me) and 3 Weihrauchs lol. Its very adictive airgunning I guess.
My nephew Ben he’ll be absolutely drooling when he watches this, he’s been after one for ages and I don’t blame him as they are awesome rifles. I’ve been out to Leyburn to Gilsans of Yorkshire to collect my new rat basher today the new Weihrauch HW 100 KT in 177 and this one’s stock has amazing grain within the stock and is a stunner. So tomorrow it’s getting some lead thrown through it and getting zeroed. I must admit I really do like the pro sport but prefer the TX 200 HC but that just my preference, horses for course’s and the likes eh?
I’ve just contacted my local rfd as for years one of these I’ve always wanted to own and will complete my many years of airgun shooting and will be the absolute pinnacle of my collection of airguns. I’ve decided to part with one of my pcps to put in against one as I’m a lefty and they always cost more and in this day and age I think that’s it wrong that us lefties come worse off on the purchase of any guns, but that’s the way things are and I suppose we just have to suck it up. This will be one of my last springers. I do have four Weihrauch springers the hw 95 two of them in 22 and 177 and the blue laminate 97 in 22 which is absolutely awesome and my little 99s in 22. But in my last post I said I preferred the TX 200 hc and after getting hold of the pro sport it instantly changed my mind, I’m thinking I’ll go for 177 in the pro sport as I already have three of the Weihrauch’s in 22. I know that my nephew will be as jealous as hell when I get it as he never stops going on about them and I’m not going to mention it to him until I actually get it and he pops round for a coffee to see his old uncle and I know what his reaction is going to be too! And there’s no way this one will be getting lent out that is for certain! I really deep down prefer springers as it’s what myself and many more of you started out with all those years ago before pcp’s came out and it’s always nice to have an afternoon out back to basics with a springer to bring back a rabbit or two for the pot as your more challenged as you have to make that first shot count. My first airgun was a webley tracker which I still have to this day and still looks and shoots and hits the mark and after finding a new stock for it about 18 months ago it looks brand new and I wish I still had its original box. Who would have thought back in the early 80s that a gun that cost around £90 are now retailing for £300 plus today.
Managed to secure a left handed walnut today, my rfd said I was very lucky as there’s only one left at air arms in 177. They must be a rifle that are made to order, can’t wait for that phone call now!
Stunning rifle, that grain is better than any rifle i got, thats over 35 of them. Springer's are every bit as accurate as PCP, especially when resting on bag and sitting comfortably.
great video , gorgeous rifle. Im on my second prosport now , had to sell my first to pay for a washing machine or something daft. This walnut prosport i own will have to be prised from my dead fingers ,,, Very expensive to buy but imo worth the money
Beautiful rifle, for sure! Seen a few negative comments about the price...would I spend that much on a spring gun? You bet I would and I have...without any guilt. Good for you, Paul! ScottinUSA.
Je trouve le levier d'armement absolument laid et bon marché ! Totalement à l'opposé de la qualité de finition et de matériaux du reste de cette belle arme.
Absolutely beautiful always wanted one, looks like a .22 bullet rifle. Didn’t know they were that expensive nowadays, which is a shame. Why would you spend a £1000 on spring powered airifle.
@Shizzymac23_Have nothing to do with beeing skint...come back in 50 years with your pcp and we shoot it together with my AirArms springers. I promise you that you will have problem with your pcp and I will shoot my Tx200 in mint condition without any issues. These springers are so wellmade they will last multiple lifetimes...thats value for your money!
I want one of these so bad, but that price tag is real hefty. Even more so as I’m a lefty, just over a grand for me! That said, I have a 0% credit card for 18 months and it’s hella tempting. 😅
@@fieldsportcymru4636 what website because I wasn’t able to find it on pyramid airguns I was able to find out they make a left handed stock but you got a pay for it separately so you got to buy the whole weapon take off the right handed side, stock then reapply the left-handed side stock, but it was from Airarms and I believe it said for UK sales, and it was sold out, but believe it or not, it gave me hope
Yes they do pal as I’m in the process of ordering one from my local rfd. I’ve waited and prayed that they will do a left hand version and can’t wait for the phone call to say it’s ready for collection.
@@PiperX1X which company? Cause from what I seen from air arms website they do but it was for uk only but what I would really like is a right hand barrel/ loading system on a left hand stock cause when I ordered my TX ( from pyramid arms) the gentleman assured me the loading breech was centered but it’s definitely left sided… well let me know how that goes so that I can order one too
I had one and sold it about a month ago. It is too pretty to take into the field. Ive ordered a hw77k to replace it. Ill hope to find a 97k as well. Here in canada I can buy and modify them as much as I want as I have my firearms licence. Springers are the best
Thats a beautiful rifle and i have absolutely no doubt that its accurate and wouldnt need tuned etc. But my goodness its very expensive for a spring air rifle, over 900 quid!
That is the best looking rifle i have ever seen. Beautiful! Thank you for another great video.

I’ve had my pro sport for a year and a half and I must say worth every penny! Indescribably accurate and a joy to own/shoot.

Mine is .22 in walnut. Lovely rifle.😊
As is mine 🤙great choice, I treated mine with walnut oil over a couple of days and the finish is stunning as well as weather protected .
Worth every penny , I own one 🤙👏
Absolutely beautiful rifle

Got the pro elite fac great blue best wishes Dave Chubb
Really fancy one of these
If you put some Philips Walnut oil on it the grain will really come out nice.
Mine had a stock like that, oiled it up and it was even more beautiful, give it a try mate.
What do you use to oil the stock and keep the Matt finish?
when you want a Pro Sport thats what you buy
vendem para o Brasil?. preço? qual a potencia em joules?..tem no calibre 5,5 tambem?....spring ou gasram?

Wonderful rifle mate! A True oil treatment will make the stock even nicer.👌
Love that stuff
@@fieldsportcymru4636 Did it on my S410 walnut stock. What a difference....

Why would you spend £ 2500 on a PCP?

@Shizzymac23_ 😂😂😂 My El Gamo Magnum from 1984 is like new...Got it at my 15th birthday and it still shoots like a dream without any service 👍
When are you going to show us it in action ? : )
Tomorrow i hope .
Beautiful rifle! Right now in 2024 the Walnut version is $1100 😔
So nice, but the pro sport was out of reach for me. Beautiful example! Where does AA get their walnut from, bet it's a secret!
Thinking more about accuracy and shooting over looks. Thanks
Both are pin point accurate nothing between them in that department its all about what fits you best as their both utterly superb shooting
Stunning bit of kit Paul👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😎😎😎😎

Lol they are superb rifles to be fair and hold their value better than a PCP
very nice mate 👍
Im using hw97 for 6 month but thinking to let go as the weight is diaturbing me. Is there anything lighter than hw97 but par performance with hw97??
Try the 57 much lighter but roughly same performance
Got the tx200 an would love to get the pro sport but they don’t offer it for left hand marksman…😢😂
They do now

Can I get your opinion please, HW 90k or AA pro sport. Many thanks
Pro Sport is much better looking . Its personal preference really
Were are you based, wouldn't mind going shooting with you some time.
Love one, but became to expensive for what it is. Well, for me at least. But if there was only one springer to be owned, then...
Agree prices have gone silly

With all these new guns have you happened to have won the lottery by any chance?🤔
No sold off some PCP ,getting bored of pcp rifles .

Does it work?
Yup its really sweet to shoot . Video coming soon

Nice rifle. Really boring video.
