OKAY so there was a couple of things that I wanted to say first, but I think the most important is that Dallas totally missed the opportunity after calling it rainbow kitty surprise to say "I'm just kitten" instead of "it's kitten" at 1:33 :( BUT ALSO, I feel so bad cause I forgot to mention in the message for the donation that the singer in this band it like trans, or something similar to that, so I think it's a girl now and I know that people can be really crazy/angry about that stuff and I am going to feel terrible if people get mad in the comments that you referred to them as he/him 😭 Hopefully no one will care, but I am so so sorry for not saving you guys the potential trouble by warning you first. I am so glad you liked the song though! This band and Manchester Orchestra are what I listen to when I am just trying to relax/go to sleep, so I listen to them allll the time! I will definitely be requesting more by them. I know you guys don't really get into the lyrics but I think it's why I ended up requesting this song over some of their other songs that I like more. The lyric that's like, "Don't waste a light on me. Save your eyes for someone brighter, than I will ever be" is just so good 😤 like what a nice way to say that you're not worth putting time and effort into lol feel like I relate to that lyric a little too hard. Oh, and I am so proud of Andrea for fixing her headphones all by herself!
It's alright, as a trans person myself you just need to be realistic about these kinds of things, getting mad doesn't help anyone. Most people are so used to gendering people by their voices it's understandable someone who doesn't know anything about the band wouldn't even think about it. Love this band, happy to see them getting listened to! Also, is your username a reference to the Architects album, by chance? Fantastic record.

I always feel bad when I request songs without a music or lyric video since there's nothing for them to look at, but I love this song too much to keep putting off requesting it! And omg yes!! @_HolyHell_ I am new lol, mostly I just lurk around various music reaction channels and rarely comment. It's nice to see a fellow Architects fan out here! I've fallen off RKS recently, I discovered I liked metal as a genre only a few years ago and my music listening has been entirely subsumed by finding more metal bands to listen to, but I need to take a break and get back to RKS, I don't think I've heard any of their recent stuff which is a shame.

I think they've listened to one or two Architects songs on this channel and Dallas wasn't really into it so I am holding off on requesting them, but eventually I will probably have them at least listen to the song Holy Hell since I feel like that just has to happen at some point. and omg yes please check out RKS's most recent album, it's incredible!! There are a lot of songs on it but Code Blue is probably my favorite, so I recommend at least listening to that one! That's so cool that you've been listening to a lot of metal recently. Do you have a favorite band?? I consider deathcore to be my favorite genre, but I will listen to anything so I don't even think it's the genre I listen to the most.
@_HolyHell_ I'll definitely give that album a shot, thanks! I'm mostly into metalcore, at least the bands I've really enjoyed the most so far all tend to be in that genre. ERRA is definitely my favorite band, not just as far as metal is concerned but overall, I just really vibe with everything they've ever done. Architects and Spiritbox are also really high up there, and more recently The Wise Man's Fear as well, their latest EP What Slept Beneath Tarvos is heaters the whole way through and a lot of the vocals are more into the death metal/harder metal genres than metalcore tends to be in my limited experience. I'd love to see a reaction to Holy Hell, that song is true art of the highest caliber. I recently got the vinyl and have been wanting to get my husband to listen to it just because it's such a powerful album but I need to find the right time since it's kind of a hard listen emotionally.
