That lady was the higher up. It was her property and daycare. She was texting the women downstairs and telling them to turn off the music/quiet the kids
baffles me how 25 kids can go unaccounted for, for THAT long and only 2 officers get involved. should have detectives involved right when the daycare person cant account for even 1 child.

I feel like the officer not caring about the licensing is an overlooked issue here. Yes, the kids are her priority but don't disregard the licensing because of that. The whole situation could have been handled much better.
Also what in the hell is that sentencing. If it were male child care workers they'd be hit with 10+ years in jail. All of them. And what makes the main lady get 6 years over the others 2 years? They all equally abused those children, even under orders from her, they still partook in it all.

The licensing officials were right next to the officer, and I'm sure she was just repeating that to give the suspect some false sense of security by making the situation at hand seem like less of a problem
