I didn't realize there was a manga for this. I've read about 200 to 250 chapters of the web novel and I just checked. I need to update myself on it. There's over 300 plus chapters that have been translated so far and the latest one was updated only a few days ago

I highly recommend reading the manga, it has been a tumultuous ride that had me in tears several times. It is probably the best isekai story i have read, it has well written characters and plot.
I love comming back to manga recaps months later to see if new updates have happened. Loved this when i first discovered it. Hopefully by end of year someone can recap it again but with any additional chapters (if any).
This is actually a really good isekai manga, which I’m more surprised by ngl. I’m just hoping people keep supporting the author and Manga author, b/c this series could easily become one of the greats, especially if it doesn’t get canceled. (Still at 9.3 on mangadex even after like 2 years.) Highly recommend the series if ur into this stuff.

It updates maybe 2 months or so, so expect it not to update too fast, and with that, try to read the web novel, it’s not as good, since while it does give a good story, some of the English translation is kinda wonky, but it’s better than nothing.

Aside from the author making the part about Ed being a god far more complex than it needs to be, ergo introducing nameless villian that's actually ed but not ed, blah blah blah to ad nauseum. We get every generic fantasy world possible for a few meaningless chapters that keep shoving the attention away from anything really important to what happens in the 30 seconds between each new world. Author couldn't pick a setting and the story suffers for it. It drops the ball on both the romance aspect, the adventure aspect, and buries itself under its own plot as you slowly get force fed hundreds of one time characters that slowly force the FMC and MC apart building to a story that leaves every string hanging giving the reader a feeling of wasted time compared to the satisfying potential resolutions offered in the first arc. A 2/10 for being an actual irritating read by the end.

Thing was it's not failed attempt. God gave him a year to be with the party and then get exiled. That was the whole point for Ed. But he defied the God saying "Na man, I ain't doing this shit" and got the ultimate power.
Not necessarily I think this one in particular is different because it was the first and he had no skills to help them out in the original time unlike the last one where he gave his ex party stuff to improve there skills and guarantee the demon kings defeat.
Spoilers On his way to the 4th world after the reset, he mentioned that it wasn't the 4th world from the first experience. He was thrown into the 24th or 28th world (I don't remember which one) from his first experience but it's registered as the 4th on his second run.
