I think each engine has its own unique badass sound honestly..I’ve owned both aswell and with the exhaust setup of a 79-04 mustang (mufflers before the rear axle not after) a coyote swap sounds so wicked and right up there with the 4.6..Also when it comes to high rpm the older 4.6 32v just can’t compare but still a legendary engine no doubt..
@@Coyote_Mach The coyote is definitely unique and sounds good for what it is but has more of a european v8 sound which I believe is why it competes with so much, but as far as an old school sound the 32v is better to me and it has alot of potential and still competes especially with forced induction. The 2v (as slow as it is lol) to most actually sounds the best. Sweet car none the less though!

70-75mph,26-2800rpm..not bad at all,modular motors not even breaking a sweat at that rpm

I have the gen 2 coyote 6r80w, k member,doner car,fuelsystem, pcm,ecu,cluster,and drive shaft and key. If so how much would you charge to install. I look forward to hearing from you .thank you and have a great day.
Sorry not doing installs..your best bet would be a PBH control pack for that Gen 2/6r80..No donor car necessary just need engine and trans,getting the rest to work from the s550 like cluster, driveshaft, fuel system,and harness in a new edge chassis would be alot more work in my opinion and some parts won’t work at all..
Just found the channel, man! Love the build and AED, too! Some of the best in the business! How are you liking the setup? Any future plans for it? I'm in the middle of swapping a similar setup into my '92 SSP. coupe and been helping a buddy dial in his New Edge GT with a Gen 1 on my channel. This swap cars are seriously impressive!

Man, a Paxton on your Coyote is gonna be a beast! All top-end!
I went backwards when I pulled the Gen 1 out to do a Gen 1 long block (Gen 2) with Gen 1 intake cams (L&Ms in my case) on a Gen 1 Control pack. Got that back in, but now I need to swap to different headers, as these really early Kooks aren't gonna work with my K-member...need to pull the reared out and have it straightened...get those back in, and then I can wire it, coolant, brake lines and all the small stuff and try and fire it. Still a fair amount of work, but I'm shooting to have it running by this summer. Keep me posted on your car and how it comes together!

Sounds sick man. Quick question... What’s the cost difference on building a T45 vs. A T56 and your thoughts on one or the other?
Well consider price of stock used transmission the t56 is easy 1-2k more right off the bat then a t45 or 3650 depending the deal you find.. I think the internal individual upgraded trans parts for each transmissions are close to the same,I couldn’t tell you 100% honestly,I found my trans used with hardly any miles and it was a t45source build and I upgraded the input to a 26 spline.

I would take my built t45 over a t56,I do not like the way a t56 shifts high rpm compared to a 5 speed,never could I row gears in a t56 like my t45..With the billet shift forks and 26 spline input it shouldn’t ever break but we’ll see cause I will put it to the test!

Was this swap easy or difficult ??
Easy as far as everything bolting into place,4.6 motor mounts,k member,trans,8 bolt flywheel,11” clutch,power steering and ac (with PBH speed drive) and radiator can all work with the coyote ..wiring isn’t that difficult either,it’s the little things that add up and take time like making everything clean.
What do you have for suspension mods?
Tubular k member and A arms,coilovers all 4 corners,adj shocks/struts,tubular rear control arms,bigger sway bars,cc plates,sfc’s..

Is there room for a turbo or top mount supercharger?
Unless the VMP or Whipple blowers sit higher than the boss manifold currently installed then sure! I have hardly any clearance as it is lol,turbo or centri for sure plenty of room

It’s not my daily no, but it’s pretty smooth in traffic for the most part, has moments where it bucks but I also have 456 gears and that’s really only in 1st gear in parking lots or fuel stations

4.6 dohc for a coyote in the mach 1..... HELL NO could have built the 4.6 then boosted it instead of this
Hah ok bud,that’s smart..Let’s be into it DOUBLE or TRIPLE the cost and make less power if both engines were boosted 🤷🏻♂️ ..Don’t even compare N/A power Coyote to 4.6 ANYTHING cause it’s not an argument and that’s what I built was a N/A car,maybe boosted later on..Stock Gen 2 engines can make 900rw all day STOCK longblock and boost..Show me a 4.6 longblock that can handle that much power for under 4k cause that’s what I paid for this engine..Your a fool if you think coyote isn’t the way to go over a 4.6,keep living under a rock.. I’d gap a pulley/bolt on Terminator with this setup without boost,and make 850+ with ease with boost, and all under a $10k cost even with a TVS or Paxton bolted to it..
@@Coyote_Mach brother I really like your car but I'm not sure how you think you're gapping a pullied and bolt on termi with 430hp and 376tq. I sold my 03 a few years back, but with a 2.76 pulley, bolt ons and exhaust it was making 476hp and 467tq to the wheels. That's 46 more hp and close to 100 more lb ft of torque at the wheels than the setup you've shown here. Again I like this car and setup, but with instant boost from the supercharger on the cobra, and making that much more to the wheels, you wouldn't be gapping that car I sold bro. Itd be a fun race but even with less weight in your car, it wouldn't make up for almost 50whp and 100tq. Having said that I think I'll sub I'd like to watch this car as it progresses through whatever you do to it next

Weight is everything and does make up for power differences lol same reason you see some cammed N/A coyotes beating hellcats making 200+ rw more than a 460-500rw Mustang Gt 🤷🏻♂️
Also My brothers now VMP 2.3 03 cobra made 520rw AED tuned when it was pullied and ported and went 11.6@120,about the most you will see MPH wise out of a similar setup..A local guy I know n/a coyote swapped 01 GT running 11.4x@ 122mph making my same numbers on the same dyno...6-800 pounds less is a major advantage in a race especially talking about a engine that doesn’t fall on its face above 7k rpm..Hopefully I will upload a video showing my Mach beating a pullied bolt on cobra but currently don’t know anyone with that setup,only twin screws..I’ve been around Cobra’s and coyotes way to long to talk some dumb shit bro,trust me on this one..

My Mach weighs 3100lbs race weight....show me a 03-04 cobra coming close to that weight,won’t happen,not to mention the heat soak after the 1st race and your down 40-60rw,that coyote will sing all day at 8k rpm while it rolls away from that terminator..
