Hi my angels. I hope you enjoy this super long video where talk you through our wedding events! It was truly the best week of our lives and we wish we could do it all over again. A huge thank you goes to our family & friends for coming all the way out to Mexico to celebrate and respecting our wishes to not post our wedding all over social media (haha!). We actually had a no social media policy at our wedding which I forgot to mention in this video - but I'll touch on it on the Q&A which I'll be posting next :) We ALL enjoyed the week so much without our phones and have the best memories! We put so much thought, time and energy into our wedding and cannot put into words how we felt that week. We are so thankful to have such a loving family and friends in our lives. We love you all.
Although we paid for everything during our wedding week, I want to be super black and white with everyone. As another huge thank you goes out to the following brands who gifted us special treats for our big week :

WELCOME DRINKS
My husband & I welcomed our closest family & friends for drinks and nibbles which turned into a full blown party! We had a 'tropical botanical garden' theme. We played the game 'Drink If' to get to know the bride and groom better as well as chatting away getting to know all the guests.
MEHNDI BRUNCH
The mehndi was for all the women who came to Mexico. We danced, ate, sang and had henna applied to us! It was a very chilled out vibe with our energies super high ready to celebrate that week!
FIESTA
We got into the Mexican spirit as we danced the night away to Spanish, Reggaeton and English songs! We had super yummy Mexican food, a tequila station, margarita station, pinatas and even a Mariachi band came to perform! There was a storm coming our way which meant we took the party indoors as that didn't stop us in any way! We moved over to the Mexican restaurant within the resort and partied the night away!
MANDVO + PITHI / HALDI
This was another super chilled out, informal event where our guest attented our 'mandvo' which is a religious pre-wedding ceremony and our 'pithi' or 'haldi' ceremony where my husband and I were cleansed using turmeric! But we cheated and used a Kiehl's mask in the end to avoid any skin concerns (like allergic reactions etc!). Traditionally both ceremonies are done separate but we decided to do this together to save our guests time and still enjoy their holiday!
WEDDING
After our legal wedding ceremony in the morning we got ready for our symbolic Hindu ceremony. We both got into our custom made, complimenting Ekta Solanki wedding outfits ready to get married! It was a short and sweet ceremony performed by Dharmasetu Das. I had my brother, uncles and Brother in Law walk me down the isle ready for my mum to give me away during the Kanyadan - which is usually done by the mum and dad but my mum stood up and did it alone which was such an amazing brave step to take! We also didn't go for a traditional 'vidai' which is where the bride bids farewell to her family. We wanted it to be a happy union of two families.. So we opted for a Mexican wave! It was such a happy and smiling moment! I didn't shed a tear :)
WEDDING DINNER
Once our wedding ceremony was finished we moved onto our wedding dinner which was held at sunset by the infinity pool. It was the most surreal view. As soon as we walked into the area, we cut our wedding cake straight away and sat down. As this was happening the sky was turning lilac/purple - it was magical! We all enjoyed a delicious indian meal cooked by Gulab Singh from Taste of India and we all had a super chilled out dinner.
RECEPTION
Our reception was a full blown glam event! Our decor was out of this world along with our outfits! We had a cocktail hour prior to the event. This is where Grazziato (the most amazing saxophonist from Mexico) played live for everyone, our gusts enjoyed some cocktails and snacks and filled up our wedding guest 'book' which was actually a fingerprint tree! Once that was over everyone headed up to the ballroom, and our immediate families did their entrances before my husband and I did ours! We went straight into our first dance to save time :) Once we were done our starters arrived, and speeches started. To finish off my we did a joint speech and then watched our same day edit video of the week (which is already on my RUclips channel) before partying the night away!! It was supposed to end at 3am but we extended it to 4am!
Even though i wasnt there i can only imagine what it was like and i can definetly say it was magical !! Congratulations once again kaushal and i wish you and your husband the best in the future and for many more years to come❤❤

Kaushal, please do a video on pre-pleating saris and dupattas! That is so difficult and one of the most challenging aspects of a wedding for the bride and family! Secondly, I would love to see your recommendations on bras and undergarments. I would love to see what brands/companies you would recommend

Please show us how you and your mom get ready for family events (pre-pleating, pinning, how to store pack expensive jewlelry, etc.). Just got through with a family wedding AND engagement and half the time is spent stressing about this on the day. Can’t believe I watched a 50 minute video on RUclips, never done that before but it was SO worth it.
