The termignoni exhaust sounds amazing 👌 I just did the A&R race baffle kit on my 13 848 EVO and for a little over a hundred bucks I couldn’t be happier. Thanks for another great how to video
Nice to see a Ducati superbike owner change their stock exhaust. I get heart burn when i see someone riding one with the stock exhaust. One of the best things is that V-twin rumble and thunder coming from the exhaust. 996/998/999/1098/848/1198 need termis, arrow, or akra. The rest of the offerings are not very good. Sorry to hear about your fleabay experience unfortunately there are a lot of shady people in the parts section. Great video ... Thank you She sounds good
You can reflash the ECU, they tell you that because its just like rooting an android phone, manufacturers don't recommend it, doesnt mean it can't be done. Regardless, good video and appreciate the heads up.
If you don’t have the air filter (high flow) you don’t ‘need’ the race ECU. The stock on is fine since you just changed out the silencers and cat is still in the bike.
Thanks to this video I plucked the courage do swap out my stock ecu for the DP ecu which has been in my garage for weeks. Luckily I saw the comment that the battery needs to be disconnected first, just took it around the block and wow! The difference is day and night. Thanks for uploading, do you still own your 848 or have you just stopped posting videos of it?
Chris J bike is running great. Haven’t installed the ecu since it requires a TPS reset and I’ve barely ridden the thing in the last 2 years. So no point throwing the money at it really.
Awesome video man! I just picked up a 2010 Ducati 848 Stealth. I had a question though. My bike runs fine at times and then randomly it will just stall on me at idle. The previous owner put a set of Graves exhaust slip ons on the bike and I think it is running too lean now. I heard that the issue is due to the ECU. What do you think needs done? Flash the ECU or replace it? Thanks, great bike!
Anthony to be honest, I’m not totally sure. I’ve been running the exhaust on my bike with the stock ecu this whole season. I sent out the spare ecu (that came with the exhaust) to get flashed since it was for an 1198. I still have it sitting on my desk. But my bike runs totally fine with the termi’s and stock ecu. So it might be a different issue. Your bike has a stock ecu?
Im assuming the ECU is stock. I have looked up the issue online and everyone is saying that I just need to get the stock ECU remapped to adjust the fuel intake with the slip ons. I really hope its nothing more serious, I just bought the bike and have yet to take it to the service center to be fully inspected.
Anthony I know when you get the flashed ecu installed you have to have the TPS reset to help with idling. So maybe with the red lash and TPS reset, it’ll fix your issue?
What’s up man thanks for the ur video it was very helpful and informative. One question did you get a new ECU for the bike? Or did you leave the stock ECU on ur 848. I’m asking because I’m not sure if I should just buy the slip-ons and ride like that or try to get an ECU. I appreciate 🤘🏼🤙🏽
Chris J I am running the stock tune right now. I have a “race tuned” ecu but I need to take it in to Ducati to have them adjust the TPS when I install it
Spencer King Well that’s good it’s been two year since you posted this video so I have time to get it done as well. Well thank you spencer I appreciate it man! Ride safe ✌🏼🤙🏽
I have termi slipon. But do I need a race ECU as well? Did you notice any difference? What does therace ECU do that the stock ECU doesnt do? Regards! I have a 848 evo.
Hey bro :) I have question pls help..I planing to buy termi slips for mine 848evo 2011 the guy who sell it is internet buy, they go white racing power as well and I dont now if while work now when I whatch this video..do they work whidaut racing power?I want to buy termi slips it because of sound ..,that power is not interesting me but they go white termis..sorry for my englis
I have termi slip ons on my 848 but I don’t think the guy tuned it since it backfires a lot and spits small flames do you know if it’s really bad to have the slip ons without a tune
Jlove I am not positive. I cannot imagine it’s too bad for the bike since you still have mufflers on the bike. I think it would be a different story if you had no mufflers and ran that. But again, I am not certain on this.

Thanks a lot, your videos helped me a lot on decision to purchase 848 EVO and also maintain it. :)
Sick man I've got the same bike and full exhaust on my 848
Nice work
Good video. Nice upgrade, especially the sound!
I believe you do not change the ecu if just doing a slip on !

Boston Tricolore69 thanks! Glad you liked the video!
So much better looking than factory
hondacbrforlife 100% better! The termi’s follow the lines of the tail, unlike the factory tips.

Orlando Biotechnology yeah I figured that’s why I said, according to ducati. Thanks!

Did the exhaust come with a db killer? If it did, did you remove it?
Yes, it did. And yes, I removed it.

Ignore that last part, just looked and saw you’re still uploading. Don’t know why I thought you’d stopped 🤨
hey Spencer, how did you find out that the ECU was not appropriate? was there an error code flashing on the dash?
Kevin Lee it ran like crap and then died out 😂
What’s up man I just wanna follow up on the pipes. How’s the bike running did you ever flash the ECU?
Chris J bike is running great. Haven’t installed the ecu since it requires a TPS reset and I’ve barely ridden the thing in the last 2 years. So no point throwing the money at it really.
I got a use termignoni slip on ecu the display would say 848 racing but does not fire up.
Rydrdg that doesn’t sound good
@@kingspencer7 do you have the part number for your ecu? I might of got the wrong one.
Rydrdg it’s just a factory ecu that I had flashed for my bike.
@@kingspencer7 okay thanks, I just got my answer from a ducati group they gave me a correct ecu part number. The one I have was for a regular 848.
Hi spencer I would like to know where did you find the mirror suppressor? Hope you understand what I mean . Thanks
Toni R the block off plates for the mirrors? I bought them off amazon years ago. They don’t sell them anymore.
@@kingspencer7 Oh ok to bad thanks any way

Oh man I didnt know you had to reset the TPS, good looks, hopefully by doing these two things I will get my bike running as good as yours! Thanks

Spencer King
The bike Hasn’t gave you any problems since you installed the slip on’s with no ECU flash or tune?
Chris J nope! Starts and runs like it should. I plan to install the ECU this season along with deleting the servo motor.

Chris J you as well.
What's your power cord on your battery? a charge maintainer?
Effergence it’s for a battery tender; so yes!
I have termi slipon. But do I need a race ECU as well? Did you notice any difference? What does therace ECU do that the stock ECU doesnt do? Regards! I have a 848 evo.
You don’t need the race ecu to run the slip on. The other ecu I have is properly tuned for the exhaust and intake I have.

Spencer King did you get yours flashed yet
Jlove not yet. I’ve only ridden it once since I put the mufflers on. The race ecu that came with the mufflers was for an 1198
Want to sell the ecu
@@John-j8g it’s sold, along with the bike.
You should disconnect battery first
Max Biaggi you’re right. That was my fault.
