Love the review of this beautiful deck. FYI, the King of Cups is Timothy's self-portrait; and the Queen of Cups, Two of Cups, and Nine of Swords are portraits of his wife at the time.
This looks like deck with some firey energy. I may have to get this one. Would you please show us the deck after you modify it? Thanks for another great video!
So glad to see that you felt called to work with this deck again. I also just re-ordered it after many years, and mine is definitely on the shinier side like the first deck I previously had. It’s funny because I’ve also toyed with the notion of cutting the borders and just having a tiny deck . What you said about being a seasoned reader, and developing your own personal lexicon with the cards being a double edge sword really resonated with me. Would you consider perhaps doing a class designed to guide us to past that trap of stagnation that comes over time as a reader?
I’m so glad you got this back. I remember seeing a video of you talking about this deck along with deviant moon & brian froud deck. I expected to see this deck in your deck collection, so I figured you got rid of it.
Thank you Raecine, what an enjoyable video and walk down the memory line. Maybe you would also love the "Vertigo Tarot" bei Dave McKean. Was a fave around that time too. With love, Sylke
I'm really glad to hear you say that the artwork has to resonate with you because I've so desperately wanted to connect with the Burning Hearts Witches Tarot, but I can't. It makes me feel like something is wrong with me or sometimes, haha. I guess I'm just not that advanced in my practice yet.
I've never been interested in this deck, and yet I enjoyed this video so much. Nice seeing some "oldies but goodies" show up! :D
I feel like this deck would work wonderfully with the fallen Angel oracle

This deck reminds me of the Vertigo Tarot

This was my first tarot deck and it’s still my go to ❤
For the edging, definitely gold. (But black would probably be fine)
I love Archeon! ❤️
Can confirm that the old edition is shinier. Not glossy, but definitely shiny.
How’s life?~ Wow~stunning vlog! 👍
Would you mind reviewing "Oraculum Leviathan"?. Thanks
