Thank you a lot ❤ I made this beautiful dress with your help and couldn't do it without you, especially the square neck opening, it was tough but now I learned. It came out so cute, I added about 25 centimetres (I think it is 10 inches) ruffles to elongate the dress, thin belt from the same fabric and belt hooks on waist (I don't know how you call it) , so I can tie it on the back, that way the dress is so elegant, so I can wear it several ways, without ties on the waist for casual style and with accentuated waist that gives very feminine vibe to the dress. This is the most complicated dress I ever made and is the most beautiful summer dress I ever made . It took me about 5 hours (printing the pattern+ sewing) Thank you for your help one more time and thank You Lord for everything ❤️☦️
🌿🌸This is such a cute dress simple dress pattern that can be transitional all year round. I do think it would look better with the waist taken in some on the sides of the waist to accentuate the smallest part of the waist.🌸🌿
I always learn new techniques from your tutorials and they're always so real. Thanks so much. Cute dress. Which size did you end up using the M or L? Do you ever do a muslin, or was this it?
@@eloiseezra5194 I noticed you used a really nice soft bubble gauze. I almost used the same fabric but the guy at Joanne said it would get baggy. How is the dress holding up?
Ooooo gonna make this, love a seersucker. Can I ask what glue you use to attach pdf pattern? I finally figured out how to print correctly so got a few pdf patterns lately. I used selotape....alot of it!!! 😄😄 TY.
Can you make it with a lighter color? I want to make it for my daughters but the dark color made it hard to really see the details. Im a visual learner. Thank you in advance ❤ I'm also looking forward for more woven fabrics patterns. I'm in Puerto Rico and most of the fabrics are woven materials. 😊😊😊
When using a woven fabric, it is recommended that you also have a straight stitch. If you only use your serger the seam won't be as strong and can come apart if you stretch the garment or when washing.
The best tutorial ever. I finally understood a lot of basics about the neck and sleeves. Really struggled with these. Thank you so much
You're so welcome! I'm so glad it was helpful!
Thank you for this tutorial!
I downloaded the pattern but was a bit unsure about the assembly. Fortunately your video made everything so clear.
Love this style thanks for the pattern and tutorial x
You’re welcome 😊
Thank you a lot ❤

you are so welcome! your dress sounds amazing!! I love that you customized it to fit you ❤️
I can’t wait to try this one! Thank you for the tutorial ❤
Love your tutorials. I’m going to try this pattern for sure. Thanks for your help. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
You’re welcome 😊
Great tutorial. It’s good to see when something goes wrong and how to fix it. Miss your lives on TT.
Yes!!! We all have struggles and I for one love to see that I’m not the only one! ♥️♥️
I prefer glue too! For long pieces though I do reinforce the corners with tape.
Yes! I also like te-enforcing with tape when it’s a big pattern ♥️
So glad you did this one !! I followed your Bastille too from this site and loved. Thank you for your videos
You are so welcome! I loved that one as well!! I think I need to make another one!!
I have worked with double gauze. I swore I would never work with it again. But I love double gauze so I might just use it again for this dress.
I love this dress. They have some gorgeous free patterns in their website I’m just not comfortable giving them my credit card details for a free pdf.
I have never given them my info. 🤔 I just go where it says download and I right click and download to computer without entering anything ♥️
@ thank you. I’ll go back and see what I was doing wrong lol. Thanks again
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
I’m going to give the pattern a try, with gauze also. Love it ❤️
Have fun!
Thx for showing how you put together pdf patterns. I've printed a few and was going to use tape. I'll have to try the glue method. 😊 👏
Tape works well but I prefer the glue! I find it so much easier! I do re-enforce corners with tape when the pattern is really big ♥️
I love their patterns. It's so nice to see you.
Thanks!! They have so many good patterns!!
Thank you so much! I love this style!
I'm glad you like it
Beautiful
Thank you!!

Yes! I think next time I might size down ♥️
Hi, I love the top that you have own. What pattern is that?
Thank you!! It’s the Diana Top by Ellie and Mac ♥️♥️ it’s a pattern I design for them!
Thank you for sharing, I learn so much during your videos. Question: Approximately how many yards did you need for this dress?
You’re so welcome! I think I used about 2 yards but of course it varies depending on size ♥️
Thank you so much!

Thank you!! I think I went with the large to make sure it fit. And yes, this was my fit trial haha ♥️♥️

Thank you!! I think it will be gorgeous in seersucker! I use the Elmers disappearing glue ♥️
Thanks for keeping the part about your machine not working right 😂😂😂
I gotta keep it real!! 😂😂
Hey there, How to do flutter sleeves for this dress that you wear at the intro of this video?
Can you make it with a lighter color? I want to make it for my daughters but the dark color made it hard to really see the details. Im a visual learner. Thank you in advance ❤ I'm also looking forward for more woven fabrics patterns. I'm in Puerto Rico and most of the fabrics are woven materials. 😊😊😊
Do you think this dress could be made with a sweater knit?
It will be a little more oversized in a knit but it would be doable.
How do you download the Pattern? I can’t seem to find the link everything is a Google advertisement.
I found it at the bottom
Very cute dress! Thanks for sharing your project.🎊
I love this!! Thank you for asking and thank y’all for answering!!! I love the sewing community! Always so willing to help one another!! ♥️♥️♥️
Why Do you need to use the sewing machine as well when it can be serger for seams ?
When using a woven fabric, it is recommended that you also have a straight stitch. If you only use your serger the seam won't be as strong and can come apart if you stretch the garment or when washing.
@eloiseezra5194 Thank you for the info tried the pattern love it.
Do I put this on the Ellie and mac or different site?
