Great video. Downloaded the pattern thks for the recommend When I put this together before I put in the zip I'd do the hemband Barrito style, with the facing... Left the end a little open then sew in the zipper. ... It's a nicer finish that you do at the beginning.

Omg I love this! I have used bicarbonate of soda, a toothbrush and washing up liquid to get out very stubborn stains. With COLD water (I am sure I read somewhere hot water sets a stain??) Though would try gentler option first so not too abrasive on fabric. Also…when u said you “should have” done the basting in first place…no need to beat self up! It turned out amazing and it’s all part of the natural process!! I have only just realised this myself as I kept saying I “should” have done this and that and I have finally recognised no need! Like this morning I thought I “should have” bought porridge oats yesterday and started to get annoyed at self. Then quickly stopped as realised no point being annoyed, and had the most amazing carrot fritter pancake with honey on top for breakfast instead which wouldn’t have happened if I had the quicker oat option! Lol long post, enjoy the jumper! Xx

So cute!😍 I use blue dawn dish soap as a spot remover. I also use drift stain remover. It's for baby food stains, so it gets pretty much every everything! Hope that helps!💖💖💖

My husband does our laundry! He uses Dawn Dishwashing Liquid (the hand dishwashing stuff) for all our stains. Unless he’s unaware of a spot we never have stains!

Most of the ones I’ve seen that people have made are done using machine embroidery designs, but your idea is cute. If you do it again, you might try wash away basting tape to help you position your ribbon before sewing.

🎀Mix 1/2 blue dawn & 1/2 vinegar into a spray bottle. Saturate, then launder, then air dry. It might take 2 rounds, but worth a try, huh? 💕🎀

Hi Diana, the facing gets attached at the top by sandwiching the collar in between the facing and the main fabric right sides together. Instead of at the shoulders, so when you turn the end of collar out it gives you a clean finish. Hope this makes sense

I have tried to sew this pattern last year... OMG, i have had so many difficult and i was so sad, because i love so much to wear bombers (collar and zipper was an hard era for me, on this project lol).
