Just curious. What kind of bearings on the table. Is moving it fast back and forth creating a wedge of oil that is lifting the table slightly. Like trying to balance a grinding stone on a ball bearing v block and having the stone kick back as it stops
What do you think the rpm is on your work head, I have a TOS bn102 with a motor driven work head but the pulley on it is huge and I want to reduce the size.
I have to do that for close tolerance size but not for taper, the bronze bearings will be fit to size by Sunnen hone and there is .015" range for nominal size.
Great video Dee Dee, keep'um coming.
Thanks, I will.
How is that chuck mounted on the 50 taper holder?
I picked up another workhead for my grinder. The bearings are shot and need replacing. Have a great day.
Yikes! you may have to grind the spindle

The table rides on 44 3/4" balls dry no oil and weighs around 300lbs, I dont think it lifted, but it might have.

If you wait till at room temperature won't that affect your readings? Cheers

Hi, thanks for tuning in!
No offense but, you need to add subtitles in your videos so we can hear and understand what you are actually saying as you work.
Hi, thanks I have a bad cold, I will be sure to speak up next time
@@deedeeindustrialsuperprecision Actually it would be great if you got a remote mike so background noise is not an issue.
