If you’re charging them 5k for a website it will need to have cms and crm set up for them a database and all the cross platform support like zappier pre installed. 5k isn’t for the wireframe it’s for the expert understanding of what a business needs.
true, but I would argue it comes down to labour.. to build a site clients know and understand you need a lot of people doing a lot of work. IF AI could do it all fast.. wouldnt be long before prices would come down via competition. I agree, although I have zero ex of webflow .. what Ive heard of it.. its not ready to replace everything.
These are really great tools. I'm currently building my first website for a redesign. One point about Relume, it costs $32/month to view anymore than the home page on the wireframe section. As someone who doesn't build websites for a living, is not a cost that I want to take on, but this seems like a extremely cost effective tool for those that do build sites for a living. I don't want to assume that this was left out intentionally but a suggestion to make mention of any cost when promoting tools for future content.
God tier tutorial. Main point: if you can 10x your productivity and process using tools you can make a lot of money. Loved the emphasis on workflows too. To summarise: Relume for structure & content, Figma for visual design, Webflow for building.
Huh, Webflow for building? Why not learn some coding and become a real professional instead? Have you seen the noodle-crap-code, that Webflow throws out, have you seen awful Google PageSpeed stats, that such sites provide? All the website builders are the cheeze in the mousetrap. Give you a feeling you can make good-looking websites quick and without studying, but in the end you produce crap and slowly site, so that nobody will want to dig into the code and change anything, because nobody understand that bunch of crappy code, that such "automatic solutions" provide. Okay, for cheap crappy landing it’s fine, but not for some real quality websites... p.s. I’m a web developer with couple of years experience, know what I’m talking about.
This is great tech. Very time saving as Jesse suggests. I can see net gains here but where it loses is the idea that the one hour you spent creating a website doesn't account for the communication and back and forth between you and the client. It's still consultancy that will now inflate billable hours vs execution.
Hey, so, like, I'm a graphic designer, and I also do web design and branding stuff. And guess what? These AI tools are like, just tools, man. If you figure out how to use them and blend them into your work, you'll have more freedom to be all artsy-fartsy. Take, for instance, the pain in the butt chore of researching color theory for client branding. Ugh, it's so boring, right? But you can totally get Chat GPT to spit out some cool color ideas based on the shades you like. And if you're stuck on a lame layout, just use it for some inspo. Now that I've given these AI thingies a whirl, I'm not stressing about it anymore. They won't create stuff like I do, but they sure help with the boring stuff, so I can stay in my creative zone, you know?
Relume AI with Webflow sounds like a game-changer for web design! Can't wait to see the amazing websites created with this tool. #WebDesign #AI #RelumeAI
My first thought is "damn, this is kinda scary". But the more I think about it, the more I realize that we're just further along in a process that's been ongoing for decades. AI assistance lowers the barrier to entry similarly to how website builders have done already.
I’ve been struggling to slowly develop content and design for my own business’s website and I can’t afford to hire outside help. Tools like these are a godsend
website builders are a pain though.. in many ways. And often become a hindrance further down the line. Lot of times they themselves are complicated enough that the bar to entry is still fairly high too.. Whenever I had to work with them because client already had them it was very cumbersome and repetitive work. And if they were simple one would or might expect the client to have either done the work themselves or maybe hired a inhouse admin to do it rather than coming to a webdev.
I'm slowly transitioning from Wordpress to starting my first site with Webflow soon. What I'm trying to wrap my tiny mind around is why do the extra Figma step when you can go straight into Webflow from Relume and accomplish the same design tasks, without the extra step. True with the emergence of AI and no code tools, Designers will start doing both webdesign and front end developement but I still think that back end developement will be exclusive for developers. Developers will have to be either fullstack developers or mainly backend developers.

Regarding the cheaper part, not necessarily. Websites are and should always be quoted based on the value they provide. I don't think a blanket statement like the one you made applies very well

Yeah get over that or get left behind. I was like that about offshore labor and I went all in on that is 2006. What you bring to the table is your expertise, taste and marketing experience. That said the idea you could build this and deliver an effective marketing piece in one hour is bull. But no doubt this is good for smart freelancers and agencies. I think you might be missing the bigger picture. You say you love to design but run out of steam during the day. Well, Relume speeds up the process of doing the grunt work and gives you more time to the final design which is the fun part. Give it a try. I did and it's a blast how fast it is.

As someone that's just started learning webdesign (namely Divi, WordPress), this seems like a much more streamlined way of doing things. Would you recommend dropping Divi/WP and moving over to this method instead?
Haha definitely a bit misleading, but I believe what he is trying to say is that as a web developer, you are able to charge 3000$ for website (which is not uncommon at all) and that now with AI it only takes about an hour of work to develop that site.
Figma is good for experimenting. Eg. You can have say 5 alternative home pages (or however many you want) side by side and zoom out to get a good overall feel, and decide which works best. You can't do that in webflow, so it's more of a design step. I started going straight to webflow but after using figma to duplicate and experiment with pages and components I realised the benefit in that design process. You end up squeezing out the best design whereas if straight to webflow your not liken to iterate as much so you may not be reaching your design potential. It's so quick to experiment with in figma. We'll worth watching the webflow tutorial on how they use it to get an idea.
This looks awesome! It would be really cool to see AI also be able to implement the design aspects one day too, if it was provided with a colour scheme, font styles, imagery etcetera.
It is good for a starting point or even for the one deal. But, it does mean, we designers need to re-think our sales strategy and comms process with clients.
awesome video!!!! The whole styling thing is just not for me so my question, does either webflow or Figma have themes (similar to wordpress) and if so do you happen to have a video explaining how I can create the wireframe and connected it to a premade theme? Yes, I know I can google it but when I am learning new things, I like to pick one source so congrats on being my one source LOL - Great video and thanks again!
hey these tools are great, and I used to hate no-code (especially wordpress). how much does these tools would cost to put online a website ? as I am currently working on a project I was going with hostinger for a low budget but I am sort of attracted to these now 😂
Great tutorial. Amazing to know this is possible, now. Question: do you use the Figma to Webflow plugin to push the design to Webflow once you’re done designing in Figma? P.S. Love the Sola Fide sign on the wall! Very cool! You reformed, per chance?
Cool soon there will be RUclips AI. I just hit generate and get entertained by AI. No need to subscribe or follow any content creators anymore. Wohooo!
Great video! Do you recommend doing Relume to Webflow over Figma to Webflow? Is there a way to use both? I would hate to do all that styling over again.
Hello Jesse, Thank you so much for this video. I liked it. I have a couple of questions for you and I would love if you can answer me in detail. I am someone who has no experience in coding, designing, and development. I am someone who has done SEO on WordPress websites only. Even on that platform I never had any development experience. So my questions are. 1. Is this video for someone who has zero experience in coding, designing and development? 2. I am not sure if you were using the free versions of Webflow and Relume, as you just showed us developing 1 page. Considering if I want to start my agency I have to purchase both of these tools? 3. Lastly, if I am purchasing Relume, do I still have to purchase Figma or can I work over free version? The Reason to ask you is that I am from a third-world country where a Dollar costs around Rs. 280. I want to start my agency but I have a very limited budget. Please help me with this. Please Be Honest. Your expert advice will help me in making decisions. Thanks
Perhaps I missed it, but where did you get some of those elements that you added into the background? I would love to know where I could either get or generate random elements.
So you have to apply the color and font styles twice? Once in Figma and then again in Webflow. Why not just go straight to Webflow and apply the branding there and as you iterate, you can share that with the client. It seems to me there is no need for Figma here at all or what am I missing?
I know from personal experience that its very rare for clients to pay 5k for a website. Overall, there is no way they would pay 5k for a site created in 24 hours.
People will just say to do it in a day, wait 4, and charge them for 5... because people are all about being crappy for a buck. Pricing race to the bottom will clear out the opportunities very soon after
@@whoismattkohnnah. He’s right on. I am a paid media manager at a marketing company that legit builds sites for clients. If they are paying 5k, you’d better be technically skilled because there will be issues
These kind of AI helpers softwares are doing a super minimal job in providing you with layouts. It's not that hard to understand few words like "landing page, about page, shop," and provide you some templates that they already have. If everybody is start doing these they will all look the same. And again there will be a need to do things differentely.
I used to think buying a mac was a scam until I bought one and saw the value. It all comes down to value perceived by client. AI is a tool and if it gets the job done in less time you get paid more. However you still need to review the output remember AI is not perfect and will make mistakes. Having expertise to review it is still critical. If you are some ignorant person thinking clicking a button and generating a website is going to get you rich I think you are making a mistake. When the client asks questions about website you need to explain what is happening and why things are setup in certain way.
Could you create a PBBG (persistent browser based game) with this? All text, but you could battle monsters/level up/collect gold and stuff? Monster gets stronger, etc?
I have a question. because Relume costs money to use properly. For example, after you create the website and publish it, can I cancel the subscription and keep the website running without having to continue subscribing to Relume?
is it possible to integrate this with backend like SQL database in order to show products or ML to suggest some products based on customer input? Nice video btw!
companies will eventually start to catch on and build their websites themselves without needing to hire guys like you. Another reason AI is going to change the face of the job market.
So the owners of Joe's Concrete and Stone are going to take the time to learn all of these tools AND have a good understanding of web design in general to build out their website? Or maybe they're too busy running their own business and will gladly hire someone to do it.
Figma says I couldn’t preview the website because it needed at least one frame. I’m new to Figma. I know how to create a frame and put over the imported Relume wireframe but it just previews the whole wireframe like a big giant screenshot. Not sure if I have to frame every single section and every single component inside each section. Kindda tedious if that’s how it works. 😕
Its all the same and boring looking shit. What happened to the WWW and webdesign in general is a pure horror. Every website looks the same nowadays. No individuality nothing. Flash was a problem when it comes to security. But it was 100times more powerful than any of this boring shit. Even websites from 2000 - 2010 looked more interesting. Each time you visited a website it was something new and interesting. What they have done to the WWW is a freaking joke. I literally have to vomit each time I visit one of these hyped bullshit ugly websites that look like they came from a supermaket.
How is this better than a pre setup/reusable wordpress install with elementor, or useing wix? ( I dont know wix, possibly you can not download your sites, but besides that.) genuine question, how does this save any time agaist using any drag and drop website builder with templates? btw no hate at all, great video, overall, good style and presentation, fast..
So once your website is built and your happy... how do you 1) export this to your own domain and hosting service provider and onto what ? Do you place over a preinstall of WordPress?
Does this allow you to "prototype" in Figma and will it transfer to webflow? I am having a hard time selecting a component, frame, or auto layout in the "prototype" section and "navigating to" another frame on "click" option; The drop-down is consistently blacked out or puts an "X" to any other component, frame, or auto layout. Does anyone have a fix or understanding?
Changing the H1 typography in the Style Guide has no effect whatsoever on the H1 Class i.e. the Style Guide is nearly useless. Also, where are you supposed to past additional pages like a blog? Pasting to Body just adds is as a page wrapper.

Absolutely awesome maaaaaaaaaaaaaaan, thanks a bunch
Looks impressive. What’s the cost for all the different programs needed?
hey these tools are great, and I used to hate no-code (especially wordpress). how much does these tools would cost to put online a website ? as I am currently working on a project I was going with hostinger for a low budget but I am sort of attracted to these now 😂
Pricing down means a downward spiral! No one wins!
It will only be a matter of time
So what is your best way to go from Webflow to installing the theme in your WordPress site?
It's called: coding
Great tutorial. Amazing to know this is possible, now. Question: do you use the Figma to Webflow plugin to push the design to Webflow once you’re done designing in Figma?
P.S. Love the Sola Fide sign on the wall! Very cool! You reformed, per chance?
Cool soon there will be RUclips AI. I just hit generate and get entertained by AI. No need to subscribe or follow any content creators anymore. Wohooo!
This is Gold! 🤩
Great video! Do you recommend doing Relume to Webflow over Figma to Webflow? Is there a way to use both? I would hate to do all that styling over again.
Fast and not good. That's what the future needs
Great video, very clear. What would you use to upload/host? Weblow right?
Awesome Tutorial mate!!
Peter McKinnon loves the intro music
BRO!!! Where has this video been hiding? Just what I needed. Thanks for sharing this. Continued success!
Thanks
sending design work too fast can also be bad for business depending how much you charge some will suspect they dont understand the value
Great Video! So now will you use Wix Studio or Webflow to build sites?
You sir are a legend, thanks so much for sharing your knowledge 🤛
Insane. Thank you.
Perhaps I missed it, but where did you get some of those elements that you added into the background? I would love to know where I could either get or generate random elements.
I created them
Can you copy and paste the whole adjusted style guide from figma to webflow? This would be such a time saver.
So you have to apply the color and font styles twice? Once in Figma and then again in Webflow. Why not just go straight to Webflow and apply the branding there and as you iterate, you can share that with the client. It seems to me there is no need for Figma here at all or what am I missing?
dammn fool there are two methods to do that mf
he explained that lol
I know from personal experience that its very rare for clients to pay 5k for a website. Overall, there is no way they would pay 5k for a site created in 24 hours.
FALSE!
People will just say to do it in a day, wait 4, and charge them for 5... because people are all about being crappy for a buck.
Pricing race to the bottom will clear out the opportunities very soon after
Well of course not. It's just clickbait
false. i've had dozens of clients pay 5K up to 40K for one site. they wou'dve gladly paid more for a faster site too@@chrisstucker1813
@@whoismattkohnnah. He’s right on. I am a paid media manager at a marketing company that legit builds sites for clients. If they are paying 5k, you’d better be technically skilled because there will be issues
Amazing video! How is the process of selling the webpage look like after I finish the job in Webflow?
This is insane wow
If you have Relume and Webflow, why is Figma necessary?
Hey Jesse thanks for the tip but most of all for the hidden message in the back 😉
So what exactly is the benefits to this over the likes of WIX? Is it just that you have more control if you want it?
Mind blown
These kind of AI helpers softwares are doing a super minimal job in providing you with layouts. It's not that hard to understand few words like "landing page, about page, shop," and provide you some templates that they already have. If everybody is start doing these they will all look the same. And again there will be a need to do things differentely.
This is amazing! Thank you!
You're so welcome!
Thanks!
This is a game changer. Thanks for sharing.
What can you do on a Mac that you CANT do on a PC?
laughed so much when you said "what is this dark web design" 🤣
🤣🤣🤣
Thank you
game changer
Could you create a PBBG (persistent browser based game) with this? All text, but you could battle monsters/level up/collect gold and stuff? Monster gets stronger, etc?
Lol no. This is AI trash. Still gotta learn to code in order to do that
I have a question. because Relume costs money to use properly. For example, after you create the website and publish it, can I cancel the subscription and keep the website running without having to continue subscribing to Relume?
Yes, you can.
Not sure if this makes me excited or sick
is it possible to integrate this with backend like SQL database in order to show products or ML to suggest some products based on customer input? Nice video btw!
🔥🔥🔥
companies will eventually start to catch on and build their websites themselves without needing to hire guys like you. Another reason AI is going to change the face of the job market.
it's clever, but it's just picking from a component library. If companies can't do it now they won't be able to use relume either
So the owners of Joe's Concrete and Stone are going to take the time to learn all of these tools AND have a good understanding of web design in general to build out their website? Or maybe they're too busy running their own business and will gladly hire someone to do it.
What about the code of website like HTML, CSS and JS?
This looks cool! Anything like this for Wordpress??? I'm not a webflow guy. Thanks!
Love it but you're killing me scrolling the zoom in and out. My wife does that constantly, drive me crazy
Resources for connecting finished Webflow to Django or other frameworks / backend - Possible Video Idea?
Figma says I couldn’t preview the website because it needed at least one frame. I’m new to Figma. I know how to create a frame and put over the imported Relume wireframe but it just previews the whole wireframe like a big giant screenshot. Not sure if I have to frame every single section and every single component inside each section. Kindda tedious if that’s how it works. 😕
If someone charged me 5,000 for that i would be pissed.
Nice!
How is this better than a pre setup/reusable wordpress install with elementor, or useing wix? ( I dont know wix, possibly you can not download your sites, but besides that.)
genuine question, how does this save any time agaist using any drag and drop website builder with templates?
btw no hate at all, great video, overall, good style and presentation, fast..
So once your website is built and your happy... how do you 1) export this to your own domain and hosting service provider and onto what ? Do you place over a preinstall of WordPress?
how do the sites search well on Google? SEO work well like Wordpress?
What and where is the backend?
Does this allow you to "prototype" in Figma and will it transfer to webflow?
I am having a hard time selecting a component, frame, or auto layout in the "prototype" section and "navigating to" another frame on "click" option; The drop-down is consistently blacked out or puts an "X" to any other component, frame, or auto layout. Does anyone have a fix or understanding?
Does the input field work? Is it really a full functional website?
Why does Figma not generate my Relume AI-created site? I am lucky to see a hero section rendered on Figma but not the rest.
Would be amazing if this could export to adobe creative suite :)
Why did you style it in relume, if you had to go in webflow and also manually style it there?
Is this applicable is I web host on Kinsta? And can I make further changes via Wordpress/Elementor?
Changing the H1 typography in the Style Guide has no effect whatsoever on the H1 Class i.e. the Style Guide is nearly useless. Also, where are you supposed to past additional pages like a blog? Pasting to Body just adds is as a page wrapper.
