Fun fact, in “journey to the west”(the literature sun wukong is from) he has like 8 different forms of immortality and all of the gods are just kinda done with his shit cause he is so annoying to deal with

Yeah it’s basically more like god of war than a soulslike. There’s healing flasks and “bonfires” but that’s about it with similarities
It becomes more of a souls like mid-game where the bosses don't get staggered out of attacks , so you have to actually learn the bosses moveset and attack opportunities
Yeah but without a difficulty system like souls game makes it easier and harder simple enemies are easy most bosses do hard enough damage and seem to wait for you to attack first so they can counter which I’ve noticed is annoying asl so far hardest boss has been the baby head thing just got to serpent dude and only fought him 2x but got him hella low second try didn’t kno bout 2nd phase the wolf dude was easy asf and the werewolf monster beat them both first try
@@Deist0sI wouldn't really say that. It's more on the Nioh side of things if anything. You still gotta rely on precise timings and actual chain combos. Yeah, you have to study their patterns but it's not to wait them out. You can still be pretty aggressive without waiting for their chains to finish. Yellow Loong for example. You can wait for him to finish his 2nd phase spam, or you can make him stop by hitting him with a full charged heavy. One of the things I like about Nioh-like games is that you can set your own pace, which Wukong presents.
Everyone at the beginning of the game so far *this game is easier than Dark souls/ Elden Ring* I’m watching with a Bingo card
The first two parts of the game are kind of chill but then the parts after that are literally harder than Elden Ring in my opinion
@@Deist0s harder based on player...I've seen players struggle with some later bosses, then others demolish those same bosses
it depends on where the player puts their sparks into which skills
@@Deist0snot really. I haven’t struggled with any bosses and I’m like well into chapter 4. Even the Chapter 3 final boss which everyone says is hard didn’t give me much trouble.
I think it really depends on player and what you’ve invested in. I had a lot of max health upgrades and I put in all the max health and stamina upgrades I could so I wasn’t getting one or two shot by bosses. This game’s difficult does really depend on the player.
