I can tell you that being a 3 is not easy at all, & the example you used was a good one because that happens quite often to 3s. We have the innate sense of play and optimism and that is wonderful, but we receive a lot more scorn than other birth paths. My fire just doesn't burn out, and I receive a lot of jealousy because of it. People make up things in their head to justify it. Most of it is silent and we become very sensitive to it. I'd rather spend more time with plants, animals, and kids, than adults, especially young adults. I've learned to use my power of the word to lash out at the haters, but I often tire of that because I'm truly not a mean person.
My play history: COMEDY, improv, making people laugh. Imagination play (my own cooking, radio or talk show) were huge for me. And constructing things (fixing an appliance, building a structure) put me in the zone.

As a 3, growing up in a repressive household with two narcissistic parents where my thoughts were restricted and playfulness seen as a burden-I gravitated towards the arts, fiction, and video games to remind myself of who I am. I think our childlike wonder, and ability to see the world as one filled with possibilities and beauty definitely acts as a shield; to shelter ourselves from a lot of the ugliness in life and gives us a tremendous amount of resilience.

This is my life exactly. Narcissistic, repressive parents. If it weren't for music, video games, and arts in general, I would have gone insane from the lack of honest expression. Still working through all these 3 challenges but it feels amazing to know there are others like me. I wish us all a wonderful life full of self-expression!
Hello!! Wow I can so relate to this, I am a life path 3 and a Taurus sun, I felt growing up I was around mostly adults who were quite reserved and concerned with how they came across. I have always had an inner child who is always wanting to come out and play!! But was very shy/quiet growing up because I felt I was looked at as stupid or silly and it really made me withdrawn. Now 27 I feel a very strong urge to meet lots of people explore and experience everything...still feel a little held back depending on the people around me.. I love your videos may thanks!! :)
This is a real full-circle moment watching these videos and understanding my 3 life path. I've been studying play by reading books from Stuart Brown, Peter Gray, and Johann Huizinga. My instincts led me to this crucial area that has been missing in my life and this video just confirms that I'm on the right track and need to play more. Will do a play history today. Your videos describe my life with incredible levels of accuracy that puts so much in perspective. Thank you so much!
My play history: I would use my imagination wether it was with barbies or roll playing (dress up) I also loved anything art related, in high school I took every art elective available lol. I’d also make scrap books of different outfits I’ve created from cut out fabrics. Ugh i miss being a child

I use to work where people were so horrible i lost faith in mankind and withdrew into myself, a big mistake ! Now , new job, i play all the time at work, but my work is done, but more light heartedly. I use to work with Autistic children, now i'm a Library Officer, no life and death situation here, so I play. I'm bullied relentlessly, especially by a miserable, mean, stern, acid tongued, bitter old women. A life unloved !
Now it all makes sense. Ever since I found out what life path 3 is supposed to be about, have been wondering, why am I not spreading optimism and joyfulness. Thanks, Nat!
Yes. I feel as though I am surrounded by repressive people. Especially now, since I'm an adult and a mother 3 times over and still 27 years old! Phew. My play is with my boys. Outside is where I engage and have fun and connect not only with them, but myself as well. I get upset with my partner when he doesn't do the same, but I do realize that he is very different from me (life path 8). This doesn't stop me from feeling like he's such a nag and downer about taking them outside to play with them, or even to do anything play related with his sons. It's actually depressing for me to see how play repressed he seems. Great, funny guy, but not into the same play as myself and our boys. He's always been the homebody and self play glued to the TV either through a show or a game. If not that, then he's at the gym. Frustrating for sure with my partner. Too much Virgo nitpicking, and cleanliness, which stops us from having fun.
