  • Minimalist textured art is a great way to add a touch of style and personality to your home without cluttering up your space.
    In this video tutorial, I will show you step-by-step how I created a modern and minimalist textured wall art for home decor.
    Materials:
    * Plywood
    * Universal putty
    * PVA glue
    * Water
    * White sand effect paint (Ready to use. I bought it from a hardware store).
    * White acrylic paint
    * Piece of fabric.
    Preliminary quantities:
    First mix: ~ 55% wall putty + 30% water + 15% pva glue.
    Second mix: ~ 70 % wall putty + 15% water + 15 pva glue.

    It would have been a more complete ‘how to’ if quantities were specified either in the video or written down in the comments

    Hi, I'm fascinated by your fabric texture art tutorials! Could you share some tips on how to determine the amount of fabric needed for a project? Is there a general rule of thumb or a way to calculate the fabric requirements based on the canvas size? I'd love to understand your approach to measuring and preparing fabric for your art pieces. Thank you for sharing your expertise!

    • @DzenovagisArt
      @DzenovagisArt  19 дней назад

      Hi, thanks 🫶 that is amazing 🤩
      There are no special rules for measuring fabric in this art form, as the amount you'll need depends on the specific design you have in mind. Creating a test design on the canvas is an excellent way to gauge how much fabric you'll realistically need for your artwork. Simply lay or drape the fabric on the canvas to visualize its placement and manipulation without using any adhesives,water or texture mix.

    When you are smoothing it are you using just H2O or the putty mixture as well?

    • @DzenovagisArt
      @DzenovagisArt  8 месяцев назад

      Firstly I used H2O, secondly not to much mixture only in the areas it was needed.

    I absolutely love this !!! Wow ❤❤❤ please if I what to create an even more sandier effect, can I use more of that sand structure color or will it get just to wet and collapse?

      Thank you ! 🫶🫶🫶
      You should let everything compliment dry, then use sand effect pain. I think it won’t collapse if the sand structure paint would be dryer.

      Thank you for answering. One more question, can I do this on a canvas or does the fabric has to be applied onto a wood board?

    Can you do a video of everything you would need for texture art ? I want to start….. which is better? Plaster or spakle ?

    • @DzenovagisArt
      @DzenovagisArt  8 месяцев назад +1

      Both plaster and spackle can be used to create textured art, but they have different properties that make them better suited for different applications.
      The best material to use for textured art depends on the type of texture you want to create...

    Hello, thanks for the great tutorial it was really helpful, I want to make a large art like this to use as a photography back ground but i want it to be strong and bear moving it around, do I have to add something like metal mesh beneath the fabric or do I have to do something else, do you have any recommendations pleas?

    • @DzenovagisArt
      @DzenovagisArt  6 месяцев назад

      Hello, glad it was helpful.
      If you want to make a large background, keep in mind that more materials will mean a heavier background. Avoid using heavy-duty metal mesh. Apply additional layers of texture paste to create thick texture. Perhaps you should use thin plywood with additional wood planks instead of thick plywood.
      If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact me on Instagram.
