- Henri de Toulouse Lautrec: A collection of 277 paintings (HD)
Description: Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, in full Henri-Marie-Raymonde de Toulouse-Lautrec-Monfa (born Nov. 24, 1864, Albi, France-died Sept. 9, 1901, Malromé) French artist who observed and documented with great psychological insight the personalities and facets of Parisian nightlife and the French world of entertainment in the 1890s. His use of free-flowing, expressive line, often becoming pure arabesque, resulted in highly rhythmical compositions (e.g., In the Circus Fernando: The Ringmaster, 1888). The extreme simplification in outline and movement and the use of large colour areas make his posters some of his most powerful works.

LearnFromMasters: Excellent work. The push-in deftly smoothed. Inspired music selection. You are doing important work and, in these quarters, it is greatly appreciated.
this is amazing. i feel the energy and motivation run through me, i can't believe they didn't project these on atelier walls in school from time to time.
one of my favorite...also because of his humor
Thank you kindly for the gallery. He was so great at capturing the character of people. One of the greatest draughtsmen ever.

Dark souls, anyone?
When you invade him he drops a souvenir of reprisal (left ear, van Gogh reference)
El gran HENRI..epoca del molino rojo..el pintor de la bohemia.de los espectáculos circenses....sus trazos exquisitos y captando el movimiento..muy buen pintor..gracias por mostrarnos sus obras..
Such passion. Such decadence. Such brilliance.....
Lautrec didn't let his acondroplasia (dwarfism) stop him from cavorting with the ladies. He was quite the man about town.
Sooo beautiful .! They are Awesome . thank you for sharing . Il love this video .
It's very sad to me that "art" isn't what it used to be. I wish I was born in 1880. Nowadays people say "this is my art" and is some girl on stage showing more skin then talent or some strange looking thing or a bunch of nylons hanging from the ceiling. If we were to show any of these pieces to a random person on the street chances are much higher that they will either say, "is it Picasso" or they'll say "is it the guy who did Mona Lisa". We have lost our sense in so many things we once called beautiful. Now,....Books are looked at as for old people, painting is just something u do for fun while u drink, silent movies are boring, Marie Antoinette ate cake and no one knows what the differences between Elizabeth I and Mary Queen of Scots. I asked a high school student, "Who is Mary Stuart?" She said, "she wrote the Harry Potter movies!" I wanted to kill myself.
Reads like a 10 year old's facebook post
I know what you mean. I'm a portrait artist & no respect like back then. Sargent,Renoir, Monet. Respected in their time.
Grandma was born in 1892. Only 2 of 8 kids survived infancy. She had a humpback when older because no milk/ calcium was available. Good old days
Extreme talent with this one. Said a genius from out of this world.
The art of painting, this is one of the arts that I truly love!
I have a framed print of one of his pieces. (5:17) I guess that women in black sitting at the bar is someone famous back then I think it was an actress.
Strange how every painting he does, looks like it's done by a different artist ?his paintings are amazing
Yes its incredible to watch. Always surprising, often moving. He seemed to capture the essence of a scene and subjects then move on.
I guess im asking randomly but does someone know a tool to log back into an Instagram account..?
I stupidly lost the password. I love any tips you can give me!
@Sean Misael Instablaster ;)
Incomparable Lautrec. gracias LearnFromMasters
Lovely paintings by a master, it is a joy to see such beautiful art.
21.41 a portrait of Vincent Van Gogh by his classmate and friend Henri de Toulouse Lautrec
Mireille Lebeau what about the one at 21.09 ? Is that V as well - painted after 1890 perhaps ?
Magnificent
One of my fave artists. Definitely one of the greatest draughtsmen of the 19th c.
Died at the age of 37...
He is great. I heard that he went to brothels and sketched Can Can girls. That’s why he was so good, he made these paintings from real life situations.
Yes, he did. I recommend you to read the book "Moulin Rouge" by Pierre La Mure. It is a novel about Henri de Toulouse Lautrec, written very delicately and respectfully. www.itravelwithart.com/moulin-rouge-by-pierre-la-mure/
The art ponies the culture of it,s time
Really beautiful paintings.
A style of his own
Madame...your balcony is exquisite. ..
You accidently put one by van gogh in around 20:56 or is that weaver by Lautrec?
You're right! My mistake, thanks!
Podziwiam Jego prace!!!
Buenos vídeos, bastante culturales e instructivos.
I love this. I love doing Re-enactments so I can learn from the Masters.
I'm speechless in a good way.

Magnificent is an over used word........but the work was and is MAGNIFICENT!
espectacular
I really wish that the pictures wouldn't zoom so that the original composition could be enjoyed. with the pictures moving it is too hard to really look at anything.
There is an option to slow it down, just go to the menu bar (3 dots to the upper right corner) and there's a setting that says speed:normal, click on it and you can either slow it down or speed it up
I just realized your comment was from a year ago, my bad, you most likely already know about that option.. lol✌🏼
Estupendo
Expressions are total reality thanksp
Enjoyed
He is such a fantastic painter. His paintings tells interesting stories from those golden years when artists were truly talented, & each had their own unique style. Enjoyed looking at his art.
есть живопись настоящих художников -ремесленников. Зачем вы показываете ненормальных, сифилитиков?
Not Understand
I'd say he's compositions are better than Van gogh
Thank you! Thank you! THANK YOU! You just made my day!
TOULUOSE LAUTREC FOUND THE BEAUTY OF HUMAN BEINGS IN THEIR IMPERFECTION, IN THE EVERYDAY ACTIVITY AND REALITY OF THEIR LIVES. ALSO, HE IS THE ONLY PAINTER IN THE HISTORY OF THIS ART WHO INCORPORATED ETHICS INTO HIS WORK: HE PAINTED THINGS AS THEY ARE. NO COMMENT.
maravilloso
Маестро розкутий, без обмежень і яскравий у образах!
A giant in his lifetime!
He had a great eye for simplicity & color.
Really good he is a Master Artist
grazie
2:26 eerie but still a good piece of art

Lots of highlights. Master-painter of immorality. Great in crayon-drawings.
16:41 -- Probably a Self-Portrait --- 21:41 -- Probably mr. Vincent van Gogh himself ('en profil').
È il pittore eccellente Enrique Toulouse L'Utrecht... Non so perché non viene citato!
imádtam a könyvet
Vincent Van Gogh at 21.41??
Yes. commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Henri_de_Toulouse-Lautrec_056.jpg
infame música
Could he be anymore French?
Right on... and in the same vein, Erik Satie could be described as the composer who revealed the truest form of "French" music.....
Adorable beauty!!!! I love Toulouse...🙏❤⚘THANK YOU!!!👏
Alex,vai adorar
Безсумнівний Талант!!!
I don't get the 72👎🏼, people are delusional. I love this guys art, it's about what was going on at that time period/era. Real life scenarios 👍🏽
不記得了但一定是年輕時臨摹過Lautrec的作品,他的作品色彩太有激情,收放自如👍
Most of them are too abstract, and too many ordinary people doing ordinary things. A few good ones.
I find what he's getting at in the abstract. I personally like the daily stuff, especially the "Laundress," and even the copper urn/ pot. Bit I work in metal finishes, so my eye was drawn to that.
Too bad we don't have the titles and the years of the paintings... :(
Henri de Toulouse Lautrec is my great great Uncle...a very old family line from my fathers side.
Awesome. I love looking at the Masters for ideas and make Re-enactments . That is how I learn. Who wants to buy Art during a Pandemic. ?
Captivating and magnificent !! ♥ Toulouse-Latrec is genius
Never had a favorite artist, now i do.
A individual can only appreciate the hidden quality of art 🖼 media might be any. Happy to see art ful presentation in fact very pleasing to the naked eye.
Çok beğendim.👏🏻❤️❤️❤️
Me gusta el impresionismo. Renoir y Degas son mis favoritos.
Very nice.
Truthfully a feast
Please do not zoom in on the pictures. It is not helpful in any way. We need to see the full frame.
I paint portraits of people & pets. The dog portrait was outstanding.
Listening to The Innocence Mission with Henri........pure pleasure......try it....
What a wonderful collection, an amazing artist . When somebody can create such wonders it makes you feel quite insignificant.
❤

I don't think I've ever had a favorite artist until now
Picasso owes a lot to this Giant.
