      ? The Mototec does come with a chain tensioner, and its alot better than the razor one!

    I had this same idea bc I’m going to have a Mototec to upgrade and a basic razor Mx650 I’m not upgrading right away so I was going to put the Mototec stuff on the razor and I assumed it would work and bolt on

      Its definitely a pain in the butt, i first did it to my rsf650 but it was alot easier to make a mounting plate and fab it to the sx swing arm. None of the mototec parts are bolt on but i have a bunch of videos showing how i did it!

      @@EmxBrandon yea I thought I was already subscribed my bad lol I don’t get on RUclips much anymore unless it’s a link from google.. but I have seen a lot of your videos, That sucks tho bc I’m not the best when it comes to that kinda stuff lol more of a bolt, plug and play guy.. But would the Mototec rear rim fit on the razor mx650? Bc I was lookin at the electro and co fork v2 upgrade and it says 12” rim and the stock mx650 rear wheel is a 10” i just found out even tho razor says 16&14.. but I’m trying to find the same size rear wheel in black so I could throw on super Moto tires

      All good bro! Appreciate you for watching! But nah unfortunately withput some kind of modding the mototec rear wont fit being bigger than the stock 10in. Also the hub is alot skinnier than the razor hub so it wont be centered properly which means to get the sprocket to align the rotor on the other side would be like 2 inches away from the caliper. Its a whole pain in the ass. It went smooth for me cause i cut the drop outs off the sx swinger and made new ones that extended and came in more and since i was mounting the mototec motor i cpuld mount it with the rear wheels centered position. So the razors measure overall length of the tire just like a bmx bike or bicycle instead of measuring the rim like a pitbike or motorcycle so it gets confusing. The razors are technically 10/12 wheels. So the ms has the same size wheel as the 12in that electro&co is selling. The fork kit they sell is the exact same as the mototec 36v 1000w front end, they just bought their own chassis and called it the etm, so they were able to source the front ends with tire and made headtube bolt adapters to sell. They just recently got an updated fork kit which is the silver ones that are the same on the bombmoto and burromax.

      @@EmxBrandon of course no problem man, Good content and I’m learning along the way.. you really help break it down.. I’m just kinda getting into it bc I’m buyin my kid a razor and I figured I’d try to make one faster and ride next to her until we could get actual Dirtbikes but I learned about the bombmoto from you and really that seems like the better route to go but every time I look it’s sold out but I get it just now building the business up.. but oh I kinda figured the Moto Tec wouldn’t but to be honest I mainly just want a set of Rsf650 wheels but they are sold out everywhere and it’s almost like u gotta buy the whole bike just for them.. and I kinda figured it was something like that from the Moto tec bc it’s a lot of similar stuff..

    Where did you get the drop outs for the swingarm?

      I made them from some thick flat steel!

    Why are you choosing to use the Mototec motor with all that fabrication work?

    • @EmxBrandon
      @EmxBrandon  Год назад +1

      Cause i have 2 motors and a bunch of parts laying around and dont wanna spend another 1100 for a new mototec. And for the science to see what a fardriver can do with this specific motor 👌 plus its fun and something different! And matches my mototec swapped rsf.

      @@EmxBrandon nice! As a Mototec guy, I’m always kinda jealous of all the bolt-on options for the Razors. So was really confused…

      @mct8888 100% especially now they got the new ec4p motor from electro&co and it sounds like its comparable to a qs motor! Fingers crossed one day something comes out for the mototec that is bolt on 10kw+ my razors will be ready for it 😆🤘

      @Military_content definitely, it will be a little bit heavier though. Something to keep in mind with the smaller motors the more weight the less power youll get.
