It's been a gift to have started life in the 60's and know much of this history.
My first year in Okinawa. 13 months! President Eisenhower came over for a visit and it was a joke how much security he needed. The whole third Marine division! We lined the highway shoulder to shoulder! Dump trucks and sixbys were at every intersection. The presidential press secretary had to get extracted by helicopter from Tokyo international airport. Eisenhower did not go there. His trip was cut short. Feelings were running a little high by the local communist parties!

I eve you guys from 60s! My parents are from 1959 & 60 and you guys took all the glorious 1980s, which is my year (1984); but, my decade was pretty much 90s and 2000s. However, because of my parents, I am and will die so much attached to THE 80s 😻!

I've got Some Classical Stereo LP Records and Some of these are very Rare and I bought them when they were going cheap I was three years old in January 1960 and I was 13 when the Decade ended and those LP Records are all first Pressing's

6:25 Mother nature is so powerful - that it will overwhelm man at any time; glad we had strong and sensible presidents + advisers at this time - US: President Kennedy and on USSR Side: (Had lot of influence / involvement in Ukraine) Nikita Khrushchev. Time for all level heads Russia, Ukraine, UK, USa and others in settling the punishing Eastern Europe War.
