The Stones meets Free with some Humble Pie thrown in. The American Rock and Roll of the 70s. Great energy, blues, hooks and 70s era riffs that define classic blues rock the way Cream and Zeppelin did across the pond. A true part of the American musical land scape not just for Rock and Rolli
Let set the record straight on a couple points. This video was shot in 1997-98 during their Nine Lives period. You can clearly see the Nine Lives Cat logo on Joeys Bass Drum. Most of the people who claim Aerosmith "sold out" refer to Permanent Vacation as the album when they started to create "pop" songs - 10 years before this video. And many people, myself included, love the whole Aerosmith catalogue from the first album onwards. The weak records IMO were Done with Mirrors and Music from Another Dimension - but that's an opinion. Rock in a Hard Place (recorded without Joe & Brad) is killer. So people, don't put too much faith in the Aero-history above - it's shoddy and not really correct. BTW the guitarist is BRAD Whitford, not Tom Whitford. Leave this great video up but take down your post dude!
Nine Lives is my favorite album by them. My least favorite is MFAD. I just found it boring and surprisingly bad. As for RIAHP I love it. It's supposed to be Aerosmith at their worst but songwriting wise it's awesome despite Joe and Brad not being there (I think Brad plays rhythm on Lightning strikes but that's it). I love Mirrors too but some don't. To each his own.
@@Gurra88 Love Nine Lives! Totally agree with you that Rock In A Hard Place is a great record, it’s really so interesting and unique in the Aerosmith catalogue. As for Done With Mirrors, I’ve kinda changed my mind on that record after reading the Producer Ted Templemans book and giving it more serious listening. It does still sound unfinished to me but I now get what Ted was trying to achieve and the band does play great as usual. So there ya go. As for Music From Another Dimension…..It just sounded so “edited” to me, and not in a good way like Just Push Play (which has some great tunes on it!). Thanks for the comment and rock on!!!
Brad Whitford!!!!
3:09 And now Brad's - sorry guys I know that Im not the star of the band but Im the true lead guitar player of the band - solo beggins.
my fav band rocking out
THANKS for tuning in !
Peace !

Aeroamith has better guitar players than the Stones. I mean more skilled

The best fuckin band in the fuckin world!!!!!! AEROSMITH FOR EVER!!!
THANKS for tuning in !

Mark Korvin Slugocki =) Peace!
"playing rhythm guitar Tom Whitford" ?? REALLY? You may want to correct that!
Jeremy Santos Got confused with Tom Hamilton likely.
Damn Brad is good.
And probably better than Perry in my humble opinion. More steady and always on rhythm
I never got why Joe does 99% of the solos when Brad is without a doubt a boss on lead guitar as well.
awesome
Rat in the Cellar............LIVE
if someone hadn't suggested wrapping it up i'd bet they did take's for the fun of it some longer than others perhaps
Whitford way better than Perry!
Lol nope
@Sergio Arango No not even SLIGHTLY better .
Absolutely. Whitford is a trained musician who attended Berkelee School of Music. Perry is completely self-taught.
