your ears are soo good you can hear people and that helps you prepare that's very good 😀
you can lower your engine sounds and raise the sound of the enemies, this allows most experienced (and aware) players to accurately pinpoint engine sounds from a relatively decent range.
Change ur scout button to the roll wheel in the middle of the mouse helps u not have to take ur hand of the mouse
I’ve been playing with medium tanks a lot, usually I forget to scout haha
TAM 2IP is even better

Tam is OP especially with commanders sight for long range optics

Friend of mine is currently at 8.3 USA (I'm with him at 8.3 Britain) and I forgot how dangerous these things were because I don't play high tier very often. I told him what all these TAM's got and he was annoyed to be fighting them with unstabilized tanks

Idk I kinda prefer the inside voice rather than the getting screamed at by other RUclipsrs haha
